Der Check in war sehr schnell, freundlich und es wurde auch gleich einiges erklärt… Auch an der Rezeption findet man eine kleine Candy Bar und frisches Obst zur freien Verfügung Das Zimmer war hervorragend, sauber und man hat sich sofort Wohlgefühlt. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war perfekt, es war für Jeden was dabei und man wusste gar nicht was man zuerst essen sollte… und auch ein Glas Sekt kann man sich nehmen. Abends an der Bar kann man den Tag gemütlich ausklingen lassen bei einem leckeren Cocktail. Sehr zu empfehlen

Neues Hotel mit ansprechendem Ambiente, sehr sauber. Die Lage an der Donau mit Blick auf das Schloss ist einzigartig. Für einen Kurzurlaub zum Radfahren absolut top! Unterstellmöglichkeit für Räder gegeben, Radwege direkt am Hotel an der Donau. Sehr gute Gastronomie fußläufig vorhanden. Saunabereich klein aber ausreichend, vom Jacuzzi vom Dach aus mit tollem Blick aufs Schloss.

Four year old hotel, clean and airy. Very helpful and friendly staff. Only breakfast on site during our stay but restaurants are a short walk. No fridge, tea/ coffee, kettle or ironing facilities in the room but all available from reception. Parking when staying is free. Expedia says it has an 80" TV but it's probably 80cm, poor soundproofing from adjoining doors and due to hard wood floors you can hear footsteps and furniture moving in other rooms. Over all a good stay though and would return.

Gutes Erlebnis, ein Late Check-In war ohne Probleme möglich. Letztendlich war die Rezeptionistin bei Ankunft noch da und war sehr behilflich. Positiv anmerken kann ich auch den modernen Fahrradparkplatz der Überdacht ist, Abgeschlossen via Zimmerkarte und Möglichkeiten zum Anschliessen bietet. Zusätzlich sind auch Steckdosen zum Laden vorhanden. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Amazing hotel in a most splendid location. Amble parking in front of the hotel. Beautiful veranda with open air theatre and vista of the rive Danube and castle. Spacious room (ours had a panoramic view) A great breakfast was included.

Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr sauber. Leider war unser Bad für ein Familienzimmer winzig. Es hatte tatsächlich nur max eine Person Platz im Badezimmer. Verbesserungsbedürftig wäre auf jeden Fall das Frühstück. Man sollte eine Balance finden zwischen den Gästen welche tatsächlich im Hotel nächtigen und ein Frühstück reserviert haben und Gästen, welche von außerhalb nur zum Frühstück kommen. Es standen überhaupt nicht genug Tische / Plätze zur Verfügung. Das Personal fühlt sich aber auch nicht zuständig. Am ersten Tag wurden wir beim Frühstücken gar nicht in Empfang genommen. Es wird nicht abgeräumt und neu eingedeckt… nein es bleibt einfach so stehen. Erst auf Nachfrage wird jemand tätig. Auch schiebt das Personal die ganze Zeit Tische und Stühle hin und her. Das ist sehr störend und laut. Die Atmosphäre ist dadurch gestört. Zudem wäre es schön, wenn darauf geachtet werden würde, dass das Buffet auch wieder aufgefüllt wird. Es war fast alles leer (angefangen vom Rührei über Wurst, Käse usw) Da sollte unbedingt nachgebessert werden und das Personal sollte dies im Blick haben besonders zu Stoßzeiten, wenn viele Gäste da sind.

Das Zimmer war modern, sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Leider war in der ersten Nacht sehr kalt, die Heizung funktionierte nicht. Aber das wurde umgehend gelöst. Dafür war es im Badezimmer viel zu heiss, durch die Heizung am Spiegel, die mann nicht regeln kann. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Feuerwerk an Silvester ein High-Light!

Unser Aufenthalt in Karls Hotel in Sigmaringen war nahezu perfekt. - Einziger Wermutstropfen: Man würde sich für die Unterbringung der Kleider mehr Platz (zB. einen Schrank) wünschen.

Staff was great! But our room was extremely hot. The air conditioning was set as cold as it could go, but the air doesn't circulate in the room. We had to wake up several times during the night to open the windows to cool things off. Then shut them so we could sleep because the traffic noise was too much with the windows open. Had to do thjs several times to be able to get any rest. Otherwise, breakfast was nice and the area was safe.

Leider ging unser Zimmer nach hinten zum Parkplatz und nicht zum Schloss. Zimmer leider recht klein, sodass man nicht mal den Koffer öffnen konnte, ohne erst Mobiliar zur Seite zu räumen. Frühstück gefiel uns nicht so gut, kein frischgepresster Saft und die Auswahl war übersichtlich. Ansonsten angenehmes Hotel zur Zwischenübernachtung.

Das Zimmer war modern, sehr sauber. Die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück sehr gut. Leider war in der ersten Nacht sehr kalt, die Heizung funktionierte nicht. Aber das wurde umgehend gelöst. Dafür war es im Badezimmer viel zu heiss, durch die Heizung am Spiegel, die mann nicht regeln kann. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Feuerwerk an Silvester ein High-Light!

This would’ve been a nice hotel and it’s a great location but we had a poor experience. We paid for the Family room to get the balcony with a view of the castle and a couch in the room. We arrived and got to our room with a totally different layout, no balcony, and view of the parking lot. I went down to tell them they had accidentally put us in the wrong room and after arguing for five minutes they admitted it was the wrong room but said too bad we are full. They made us pack and move to another room the next night and acted like they did us some big favor because it was a bigger room but it still didn’t have a balcony, which was very important to me, only a window to see the castle. So based on that experience I would not stay there again. But location and the view are great. Breakfast was basic and just ok. We got there at 9:30 and everything was old and cold.

We stayed here because of the location - walking distance to train station, restaurants, and grocery store, and best of all, it was directly in front of the Sigmaringen Castle and right on the Danube River. But once we got there, there were so many perks that made the location the least of our reasons for wanting to return in the future. The room was comfortable and nice; the breakfast had a large, delicious variety of foods and it was free - we ate in view of the beautiful castle and the swans swimming in the Danube; and the front desk staff, both for check-in and check-out, were extremely welcoming and helpful. We had accidentally left our US-European power adapter on one of the trains, so we asked if they knew where we could buy another. Instead, she produced one from the back and let us borrow it for the night, no charge. When we checked out, they asked if we would like discount tickets for the castle, and, when I asked if the castle had lockers for our luggage, they suggested we just leave them at their desk, even though we had already checked out. I felt that at every moment, they were going out of their way to make us more comfortable and help save us money.

Gutes Erlebnis, ein Late Check-In war ohne Probleme möglich. Letztendlich war die Rezeptionistin bei Ankunft noch da und war sehr behilflich. Positiv anmerken kann ich auch den modernen Fahrradparkplatz der Überdacht ist, Abgeschlossen via Zimmerkarte und Möglichkeiten zum Anschliessen bietet. Zusätzlich sind auch Steckdosen zum Laden vorhanden. Alle Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The view of the castle from all the room windows was absolutely stunning. Amazing staff was always happy to help in any way they can. Although I forget his name, the bartender was nice enough to let another guest stream the F1 race on the bar tv for all of us to enjoy. Outstanding property overall and can’t recommend enough.

Neues Hotel mit ansprechendem Ambiente, sehr sauber. Die Lage an der Donau mit Blick auf das Schloss ist einzigartig. Für einen Kurzurlaub zum Radfahren absolut top! This hotel was a nice option in a castle-town. We had a view of the castle from our room - it was gorgeous! Breakfast had a good variety, and it was walking distance to a couple of good restaurants for our 2 night stay. We had a room with a pull out sofa bed that was made up for us upon arrival for our family of 3. Nice running path along Danube made for good exercise for this part of our trip and my daughter enjoyed the playground equipment and activities down path. We discovered a fantastic public pool nearby (cost for an adult was 4.80 euro, Child 2.80 euro approx) - it had a water slide and my daughter really enjoyed it.

Amazing hotel in a most splendid location. Amble parking in front of the hotel. Beautiful veranda with open air theatre and vista of the rive Danube and castle. Spacious room (ours had a panoramic view) A great breakfast was included.

This hotel is absolutely perfect, the complete Danube river side of the hotel looks right at the Hohenzollern Castle, which is so beautiful!! Everything in the rooms worked, breakfast was delicious and abundant, you will not leave hungry for sure. Staff is so nice and friendly, we definitely come back for another short trip. They have a restaurant as well that Has a wonderful menu.

Leider ging unser Zimmer nach hinten zum Parkplatz und nicht zum Schloss. Zimmer leider recht klein, sodass man nicht mal den Koffer öffnen konnte, ohne erst Mobiliar zur Seite zu räumen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr sauber. Leider war unser Bad für ein Familienzimmer winzig. Es hatte tatsächlich nur max eine Person Platz im Badezimmer. Verbesserungsbedürftig wäre auf jeden Fall das Frühstück. Man sollte eine Balance finden zwischen den Gästen welche tatsächlich im Hotel nächtigen und ein Frühstück reserviert haben und Gästen, welche von außerhalb nur zum Frühstück kommen. Es standen überhaupt nicht genug Tische / Plätze zur Verfügung. Das Personal fühlt sich aber auch nicht zuständig. Am ersten Tag wurden wir beim Frühstücken gar nicht in Empfang genommen. Es wird nicht abgeräumt und neu eingedeckt… nein es bleibt einfach so stehen. Erst auf Nachfrage wird jemand tätig. Auch schiebt das Personal die ganze Zeit Tische und Stühle hin und her. Das ist sehr störend und laut. Die Atmosphäre ist dadurch gestört. Zudem wäre es schön, wenn darauf geachtet werden würde, dass das Buffet auch wieder aufgefüllt wird. Es war fast alles leer (angefangen vom Rührei über Wurst, Käse usw) Da sollte unbedingt nachgebessert werden und das Personal sollte dies im Blick haben besonders zu Stoßzeiten, wenn viele Gäste da sind.
