Fantastic and cosy property in an ideal location. The cottage has everything that you need with the beach at your doorstep. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around the corner and Mark the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Sandy Corner, the property is beautiful and very modern. The bed is super comfy and the whole place is fitted out very tastefully. The television is great with Netflix available to watch too. It is situated right by the beach and is in an area which make exploring the central coast very easy. If we were to return to the area we would look to book here again. Thank you for a great stay

Incredible location just across from Avoca beach, newly renovated and they have done an amazing job with it. Incredibly comfy king bed with super soft sheets. A couple of choccys and a bottle of sparkling were very much appreciated! Beautiful products in the bathrooms and tea /oil/ washing up products provided. Layout was fab for the 3 of us and we had a wonderful time. Very easy to communicate with the host. Would love to come back. Note of advice - If you are wanting to use the sofa for sleeping, request sheets/ duvet in advance or bring your own.

Loved our stay ! Perfect with a 14 month yr old. Great working air conditioning, perfect location and grass out the front great for kids. We will be rebooking for next summer!

We both (husband Bill and myself) were very pleased with the convenient locality - close to the beach. lake, parkland areas and the shops. The cottage itself had a very homely ambience with comfort and all facilities immaculate while privacy was also preserved. A cosy, clean and light filled beach retreat with everything we needed. We had a great time kayaking on our doorstep. Friendly and helpful service from Mark and Hannah, even throughout our stay with any questions and recommendations. We have already booked our next stay here in February!

Perfect location was a little disappointed that the place wasn’t as new as advertised. Definitely not just been done up. The blind was all ripped and the kitchen cupboards had tape holding them together. Overall great little place because of location.

The house was beautifully clean, well presented exactly as it was described so close to everything you could want for a lovely weekend away stroll on the beach swim in the lake. Go to the local pub Bowls club for a meal. Listen to live bands exactly what we were looking for.

Mark the owner called to make sure everything was good, such a nice man - thank you Mark. Close to the beach, lagoon and the shops. Takeaway at Avoca had such great selections of all types of food. The Beach House was clean and perfect for us. We loved it so much I have re-booked for 2024!

This property was just perfect! The position gave amazing views across to the beach, walk up the street to the shops which had amazing choice to eat at and the people in Avoca Beach were so friendly. The property itself was cozy and had everything you need for a relaxing time away.

What a stunning little spot! We had a lovely mid week stay and everything was as described. Easy check in and great communication with the hosts. Newly renovated and beautifully styled. Such a comfy bed and loved reading my book in the bespoke lounge chair with a drink (thank you for the bottle of sparkling left in the fridge for us). We will be back!

Hannah and Mark were the most accommodating hosts, helpful friendly and kind. We sadly needed to cut our stay short due to having to return home to QLD but it was truly a very special place, beautifully and cleverly renovated to suit the Beach atmosphere.Delightful.Will most definitely return.

This little treasure is hard to beat! Very well appointed, with everything you need during your stay.The position is gorgeous, steps from the beautiful Avoca Beach. Close to all shops with a short walk to the Surf Club, with many Cafes to choose from.We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Perfect location for my wife and 2 young kids for a stress free, weekend getaway. Highly recommended! Right across the road from the sand, lake and beach aswell as short walk to a number of cafes/ restaurants. Already looking to book another weekend away here 😁

Very happy with our choice of accommodation. Photos just as it is. Great spot, couldn’t get much closer to the beach. The locals very friendly and some great cafes/restaurants on your doorstep. A very relaxing and much needed break. Hope to return one day 😊
Very happy with our choice of accommodation. Photos just as it is. Great spot, couldn’t get much closer to the beach. The locals very friendly and some great cafes/restaurants on your doorstep. A very relaxing and much needed break. Hope to return one day 😊

So relaxing and so easy to scroll across the road straight onto the beach. Walking up and down the beach every morning and grabbing a take away coffee is such a nice way to start the day. Loved it!

To be able to walk out the door and across the road to stroll along the beach and watch whales playing out at sea was magical. The staff and food at Waves Cafe were great, the friendliness of all shop owners on the main drag was a great change to the big city bustle. Son enjoyed choosing between ocean and lake fishing. Daughter loved perusing the antique store. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Everything you need and thought of. The neighbours to the cottage welcoming. Helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was marvellous. Communication with owners quick and easy. Really loved it here, would love to come back.

Lovely little place to relax by the beach. Everything is recently renovated and very comfortable, including a very comfy bed. The beach is right across the road and shops and cafes just around the corner. Highly recommended for a quiet break by the water.

We had a wonderful time away! The cottage was a step away from the beach and was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the Easter long weekend away from home! Cafes and the surf club was a walk away with a fish & chips shop & restaurant that had great cocktails! Definitely recommend to get away to relax and unwind!

What a wonderful little cottage : tastefully decorated, excellent kitchen appliances. The king size bed is very comfortable along with the couch in the living area. Location could not be better across from the beach and a short walk to cafe and restaurantsMark and Hannah were easy to communicate with .Hopefully we will be back soon
