Lakefront detached house on the little lake

Loved the cottage, warm, comfortable, relaxing. Enjoyed staying two days over the holidays for a skiing getaway. Cathy was an amazing host and helped us with everything leaving up to the stay! Would love to visit again.

The property was an hour drive from home and all the amenities close by. Cathy answered my questions immediately and was a perfect hostess. Unfortunately, we stayed during a heat wave, so it was hot, but there was an A/C unit in the main part of the cottage and ceiling fans all over the place. Had a wonderful time. Thanks Cathy.

We had a wonderful stay here - the location was great, the views were beautiful, the cottage was spacious and well equipped and communication with Cathy was excellent. We just wish we had fewer plans while we stayed here so we could have enjoyed it more!!

As soon as you walk into the house, you are greeted with an amazing view of the lake and a cozy cottage environment. The host provided every single possible thing you could imagine which allowed for a more comforting and relaxing experience. Not only that, but the water equipment was incredible and well maintained. We'll definitely be coming back to this place in the near future. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing cottage experience.

My first impression was awesome. The place has a great potential. Beautiful view. The cottage looks renovated and clean. However, if you are travelling with toddlers, you better be prepared to clean the place yourself. There were spider webs on every bench in the house and outside. The patio downstairs is dirty and there are rats there. The backyard is a swamp. Despite the weather being great, we couldn't let the kids enjoy the backyard because the sewage system there makes the grass in the backyard wet and a slippery swamp. Not to mention that my husband slipped and fell down the hill due to that swamp grass. The lake is very dirty so other than the water crafts, which were a great addition, you cannot enjoy swimming there. I did not have any negative comments for the host. However, with children we were 20 min late when checking out and Cathy right away message me to let me know that we are late. Not to mention, we had kids around and her partner had utter disregard and smoked around them. Then, she advised me that we had broken some already not functioning paper towel holder and charged me extra 65$. There is a rule book that is longer than the last book I read, which tells you all the rules you have to follow. For instance, how you will be charged extra for towels if you make them dirty. I would rather bring my own towel than live in fear haha Overall, not a great experience with the host.
