We had a great stay! It was just the 2 of us, so we had PLENTY of space to spread out in the cabin. Our favorite spot was on the porch listening to the birds and watching the deer come into the yard. We spent most of our time out on the UTV trails, which there was plenty to choose from at this central location. (And great parking for our pickup and trailer at the cabin). We highly recommend staying here and we hope to be back in the future!

Great location. Bike trail and ATV roads right out in front of the house. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer. House was super big and well stocked. House is a couple miles outside of town so it was a perfect location. We will stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Location of this property was great. We were close to everything, yet we felt remote enough to enjoy the stars at night on the deck. There was plenty of space for our family. We enjoyed cooking breakfast every morning in the well equipped kitchen. I was nervous at first about there only being a window AC in the loft, but the house did cool down at night and it was comfortable to sleep. During the day, just keep the shades closed while you are gone. I would honestly stay again if I get out to South Dakota again. Thank you for sharing your property with our family!

Wonderful home in a beautiful location! We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owner in having appointed the home so well. Truly, the owners thought of everything. The fire pit was also a nice treat. Also, having a lovely walking trail right out front was fabulous!

Very clean and location was great!! We went ATV riding daily. This place is close to access the trails. Only thing was there was no central AC. Only ONE ac located in the loft. Did not cool very well. The temperature during the day was in the 90s. Everything else about this place was great!!

We just stayed here with ages 17-75, and we all enjoyed it. Clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds are comfy and the property is secluded enough while still being super close to Hill City. Would stay here again!

Place was amazing they had so many things already stocked, gorgeous cabin. The only problem I had was our bed, the room next to the kitchen the bed sloped terribly! Otherwise great place to stay, I’d recommend this one to any friend. We’ll be back, just please fix the bed!

Loved loved loved this property. It's a great central location for all the things we wanted to do. The kitchen is more stocked than other property in we've ever stayed at. The internet was iffy but I think that is a provider issue. I wish all VRBO owners were this comprehensive.

Every bit as nice as what I saw online. Comfortable bed beautiful linens and towels. Great connection to satellite Wi-Fi plenty of TV options. Cooked up some fun dinners when we were going out. And enjoyed deer and turkeys along with birds flitting about it the field

Perfect base camp for exploring the Back Hills. Quiet. Private. Separate bedrooms for two married couples, and two teenagers. The kids enjoyed fishing at Sheridan Lake, and the backcountry drive to Rochford and Deadwood.

I could not have been happier with my choice to stay at this house. Where to start? So close to everything! 25 to 30 minutes and you are at all the great places you want to visit. Town is within 3 miles with good food, groceries, tourist shopping and a cute railroad ride if you want one. Extra blankets, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, coffee pods, etc. I’ve never stayed in a VRBO more well stocked or comfortable. We were single women and the split floor plan with 2 bedrooms on each side of the house with a bathroom between each was perfect! No quarrel on who got the best bedroom as they were all the same. Plenty of room to spread out. Oh and did I say the awesome Mickelson walking/biking trail is right next to the property? Awesome experience so highly recommend this house.

I could not have been happier with my choice to stay at this house. Where to start? So close to everything! 25 to 30 minutes and you are at all the great places you want to visit. Town is within 3 miles with good food, groceries, tourist shopping and a cute railroad ride if you want one.
