What a lovely little home! It was plenty big for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. The house is well stocked and nicely decorated. The location just a little ways down the road from Clark Lake was perfect. We enjoyed the beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. It was great chatting with the owners. We felt so welcome and well taken care of. Thanks for the fun little getaway!

We stayed for Easter weekend while visiting family. While we didn’t use ALL the amenities this place offers, it was nice to see the possibilities during a warmer stay. Our boys enjoyed all the toys. My husband and I loved the back patio and lake view at the end of the driveway. The personal beach area is a wonderful touch. This was a very nice and laid back area. We are excited to stay again soon.

Cottage was just lovely, enhanced with beautiful homemade artwork. Great layout, spotless. Nice deck & firepit in yard. Rented a pontoon boat, able to dock at their private dock. Enjoyed fishing & beautiful lake. Hosts were wonderful & we had a great time!

Our stay was a quick getaway and We enjoyed every minute . Walked to the Beach and Kayaked for the afternoon . Then we walked to the Beach Bar for dinner . Next time would love to stay longer . We met the owner of the property and he was Super friendly .

My partner, brother & I stayed at Rob & Megan's property for a week, visiting family in the area. The cottage is well appointed with kitchen, W/D, outdoor area, etc. It was clean, well-cared for. The cottage was perfect for our getaway weekend. It was clean and well stocked. The location was convenient to all places we wanted to visit. The owners have put together a very detailed binder with maps, cottage instructions, local restaurants and activities available in the area. Megan, one of the owners, is responsible for the amazing artwork throughout the house. Megan and Rob were very responsive to all questions prior to our stay. Thank you for sharing your house with us. It was exactly what we needed for our weekend. If available, we will definitely rent this again.

What a wonderful few days in this artistic home. Our hosts Rob & Megan were very attentive to details. I am a fussy renter and this home gets the Blue Ribbon for cleanliness and well supplied. A great getaway on Clark Lake !! Looking forward to renting again !!

This was our second stay here, and just as delightful. The first day, we saw a bald eagle on the lake, and day two, we saw our favorite triad of swans, and some Sandhills cranes on our last day. The fireplace was lovely, as is the fully operational kitchen. I super appreciate the hosts skipping fragrances and fabric softener for us to make it more allergy friendly for me! The beds are SO comfortable and the shower water pressure was excellent. We hope to come back again in the new year.

This was our first time at Clarklake and it won’t be our last! The lake and surrounding area are beautiful. It was peaceful and comfortable and just lovely. Our hosts have done an amazing job of the house and properties they own and maintain! The beds were so comfortable, the furniture was as well. I loved the artwork!! Some of it has been made by the owner, Megan. It’s so pretty and there’s one piece I wouldn’t mind owning. We even had a sweet calico cat adopt us- she was so tame and let us pet her and would talk to us. I can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent free detergent to wash things. Owner made art throughout the home is so fun!We will absolutely be back, whether this home or another of the hosts’ properties.

Our stay was a quick getaway and We enjoyed every minute . Walked to the Beach and Kayaked for the afternoon . Then we walked to the Beach Bar for dinner . Next time would love to stay longer . We met the owner of the property and he was Super friendly .

My partner, brother & I stayed at Rob & Megan's property for a week, visiting family in the area. The cottage is well appointed with kitchen, W/D, outdoor area, etc. It was clean, well-cared for. (Nice artistic touches, courtesy of Megan.) A short walk to the water and short drive to groceries/restaurants in the Jackson area. We had a good stay and would do so again! (Thank you Rob & Megan!)

This place was quite the find on Clarklake! The amenities were wonderful and the lake and beach area were just a short walk away. Definitely quiet at night and a great place to relax and unwind with the family. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay here, and just as delightful. The first day, we saw a bald eagle on the lake, and day two, we saw our favorite triad of swans, and some Sandhills cranes on our last day. The fireplace was lovely, as is the fully operational kitchen. I super appreciate the hosts skipping fragrances and fabric softener for us to make it more allergy friendly for me! The beds are SO comfortable and the shower water pressure was excellent. We hope to come back again in the new year.

What a lovely little home! It was plenty big for our family of 2 adults and 4 kids. The house is well stocked and nicely decorated. The location just a little ways down the road from Clark Lake was perfect. We enjoyed the beach, kayaks, and paddle boat. It was great chatting with the owners. We felt so welcome and well taken care of. Thanks for the fun little getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful time, from pulling up in an epic lightning storm that we enjoyed on the porch to sitting on the rocking bench near the lake enjoying the water and swans nesting. My partner kayaked both days, while I lounged and enjoyed the excellent kitchen (remember to bring your own Tupperware/plastic wrap). It’s a delightful house and the hosts were so welcoming. Only thing to note is there are scented sheets and towels, so if scent sensitivity is an issue, bring some scent free detergent to wash things. Owner made art throughout the home is so fun!We will absolutely be back, whether this home or another of the hosts’ properties.

This is a very clean, comfortable house in good condition. Be aware that the house is not on the lake. When the description says “steps from the lake” it means three houses between you and the lake. I highly suggest bringing bottled water. The owners put a lot of thought into making the home comfortable and beautiful. We didn’t get to enjoy the welcoming back yard bc of weather. Instead, we enjoyed the electric fireplace. Plenty if dining options close by.
