Stayed 1 night

My trip to this place was for one day so I wasn't able to utilize everything to the fullest. Like other comments say, its stocked with lots of linens, swim gear, games, tv's in all rooms. My only concern would be the Air-conditioning. It doesn't have central air. It only has one A/C unit, the little R2D2 portable one that has the exhaust in the window, in the living room. They have little fans clipped on the bed stands in the bedrooms to help circulate air in the rooms since there are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms. By 9pm the house was cooled enough to sleep but it's end of May for my stay so not to hot. In a few months its going to get hotter and may be a bit warm at night. Other then that its a cozy little place. Be ready for the frogs at night. They are loud and the windows are single pane windows. So you will hear them. It can be peaceful if you like the sound of nature. If you prefer dead silent you better bring air plugs and even those may not be enough. I did request to check in a bit early since we had a luau at 5 and they were able to accommodate. So much appreciative for that.

This property was perfect for my family of 11. We live on the island and attended a family gathering in the area. We stayed only one night but it was an awesome night! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable and have a great experience. The host, Julie was so easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this proptery

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. We enjoyed the location: not too far from amenities, but also not in a busy, congested area. Julie and her son were very helpful during our stay, offering suggestions on places to visit and making sure that we had everything we need.We have already recommended this place to several of our friends and when we visit the Big Island again, we will absolutely be staying at the Jungle Home!

We chose the Jungle House for our Merrie Monarch and birthday celebration. As a party of six, the Jungle House was the perfect spot for out family. Each person had their own bed. The lanai became our favorite gathering place. The property was clean and well organized. We enjoyed playing with the cats, watching roosters and pigs, and listening to the birds and frogs. The owner was quick to answer any questions, and even provided coupons to local places. We had a marvelous stay.
