Amazing property! Very comfortable. Host provided movies to watch, snacks, and games to play. There was a garden out back, and our girls loved being able to go out and pick a pumpkin! This location was a very enjoyable stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay - the host was very helpful, both in pre-stay communications as well as with in-property explanations of where to find such things as kitchen items, complimentary snacks, etc. It was a very comfortable "country retreat", and we would certainly return to stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at this home. Traveling with a 1 year old, there are lots of things I worry about, but everything went so smoothly! With a pack n play, portable high chair, soind machine, and baby toys provided, our packing was made easier. Our little one loved the yard and the house and she slept great there! My husband and I also felt at home. As others mentioned - yes, you can hear road noise. I think you know sensitive you are and whether it will bother you. It really just sounded like white noise from inside the house. It was louder outside, but didn't disturb our coffee on the porch. Highly recommended by us!

I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy. This place is just pure heaven, and everything was thought of. From the moment we walked in and the fireplace was on I felt like I was home and was able to relax. We loved the snack basket and all the touches throughout the house. I can't wait to come back.

Homemade muffins and local made treats provided. Large front covered porch with dusk/dawn lighting to enjoy sipping your coffee or tea. My husband and I stayed here while we visited nearby attractions. Upon pulling up, we were delighted by the kept property. It was so quaint with all the pumpkins, mum's and other plants scattered about. We made use of both porches during our stay and enjoyed the twinkle lights & rocking chairs. The interior of the house was very roomy, accommodating, and decorated with thoughtful charm. I loved everything about it. We were greeted with a basket full of local yummy treats :) The host makes every effort to provide all the necessary things needed to make your stay pleasant. The two bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the house. We tried both (I have back/sciatica issues). As other reviews indicate, the property is close to a highway. The noise from the vehicles is very noticeable in one of the bedrooms. I found this bed more comfortable for my back and I had no problems sleeping with the white noise machine provided by the host. We were very happy here and would visit again in the future. Thank you Annette for your hospitality.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a quick weekend getaway. Yes, it is close to a major roadway, but it was not bothersome to us in any way. We even had a fire outside, still no bother. The grounds were nicely kept and the front porch was so inviting with the rocking chairs. The electric fireplace was on when we entered the home. That was such a nice touch. The house had everything you could think of, we were missing nothing. The welcome basket was fantastic and featured local items. The location was great, close to all of the antique shops. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back soon.

The owner was very nice and i appreciated her letting me check in 1 hour early. I had my 79 year old mother with who was extremely exhausted after a 6 hour drive. The place was so clean and comfortable. The price was very affordable and would stay again

The property was very clean and comfortable. The decor was cozy and allowed us to relax during our stay. The host truly thought of everything we could need and even provided snacks from the area and a nice selection of coffee in the morning. The only negative was the highway. It was very loud through the night. The host did have a noise machine and we realized in the morning extra fans to block out noise. Might not be a great place to stay if you are a light sleeper. Overall a lovely visit and an excellent host!

This property was amazing! We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. We got there late, so it was already dark out. Driving down a country road, we didn't know what to expect. But then we came to the house and there were lighted decorations in the front yard and the porch had strings of lights. The key was easy to locate from the check-in instructions. We walked into the house and were amazed by the cleanliness and decor! Everything we needed, or could have needed, was available. Annette was an amazing host and even left a basket of local goodies! If we ever make it to this area again, I will definitely consider staying at this house.

This place is done right! The owner has thought of everything. Great price. Physical location is good. But if traffic noise bothers you, it is not for you. It sits right next to a four lane highway. She does provide a white noise machine and earplugs. lol.

Everything about this stay was top notch. So refreshing to go on vacation to a home as well kept and comfortable as our own, with great standards! Such a pleasant property for a great price. Be prepared for truly loud interstate traffic, as it is right next door to the property. The owner has done their best to supply ear plugs, sound machines, box fan etc. to cover the noise. They are growing trees and wooded areas to mask the sound in the future even better. Thank you for a refreshing rest at your home!!

When we pulled up we saw that we made a great decision to stay here. The grounds were well groomed and the property was well cared for. Annette, the host, was amazing to work with and she made sure we had everything we needed. Inside, the decor and furnishings were beautiful and very inviting. If there was one hiccup, it was that the property was in close proximity to the highway. This made it a bit noisy in the front bedroom. I am sure that if we used the provided earplugs, it would have made for a much quieter sleeping environment. Overall this was a spectacular experience and we would highly recomend this location.
When we pulled up we saw that we made a great decision to stay here. The grounds were well groomed and the property was well cared for. Annette, the host, was amazing to work with and she made sure we had everything we needed. Inside, the decor and furnishings were beautiful and very inviting. If there was one hiccup, it was that the property was in close proximity to the highway. This made it a bit noisy in the front bedroom. I am sure that if we used the provided earplugs, it would have made for a much quieter sleeping environment. Overall this was a spectacular experience and we would highly recomend this location.

This house is incredibly clean, very beautifully decorated, and so many thoughtful touches! I loved all the giant throw blankets, the fireplace looking heater, and how perfectly stocked and labeled everything was. My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend. It was centrally located and yet secluded as well. There was some road noise (as noted in the listing) but the sound machine was great and it honestly wasn't an issue. The hostess was helpful and very responsive and went above and beyond to make every part of our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

I loved all the giant throw blankets, the fireplace looking heater, and how perfectly stocked and labeled everything was. My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend. It was centrally located and yet secluded as well. There was some road noise (as noted in the listing) but the sound machine was great and it honestly wasn't an issue. The hostess was helpful and very responsive and went above and beyond to make every part of our stay perfect. We will definitely be back!

This property was amazing! We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. We got there late, so it was already dark out. Driving down a country road, we didn't know what to expect. But then we came to the house and there were lighted decorations in the front yard and the porch had strings of lights. The key was easy to locate from the check-in instructions. We walked into the house and were amazed by the cleanliness and decor! Everything we needed, or could have needed, was available. Annette was an amazing host and even left a basket of local goodies! If we ever make it to this area again, I will definitely consider staying at this house.

The check in and check out process for this rental went smoothly good communication from the owner. The property was immaculate and well appointed. A snack basket of local treats was there for us when we arrived and we enjoyed them! The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot and plenty of water.

This is our 3rd stay at Annette's wonderful hide away. The place is very warm, coxy and feels like home. The decor is lovely and changes each time we've been for the season. The home is centrally located so you can get to Lancaster, Reading and Great place to stay! everything in between.

This place is done right! The owner has thought of everything. Great price. Physical location is good. But if traffic noise bothers you, it is not for you. It sits right next to a four lane highway. She does provide a white noise machine and earplugs. lol.

My family and I are relatively local. We have Season passes to Hersheypark. Annette's place is a perfect hideaway. Knowing the proximity to HP and the ShadyMaple (if you don't know, look it up and go...will NOT be disappointed), we will be back in the spring when the garden is growing! Please note that if you cannot get over the fact that the place is by a highway...don't stay. Your loss. Annette & crew have gone out of their way to add a white noise machine and ear plugs and other creature comforts to make the property enjoyable. In my opinion, the effort and communication speaks volumes of the owner.

Everything about this stay was top notch. So refreshing to go on vacation to a home as well kept and comfortable as our own, with great standards! Such a pleasant property for a great price. Be prepared for truly loud interstate traffic, as it is right next door to the property. The owner has done their best to supply ear plugs, sound machines, box fan etc. to cover the noise. They are growing trees and wooded areas to mask the sound in the future even better. Thank you for a refreshing rest at your home!!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a quick weekend getaway. Yes, it is close to a major roadway, but it was not bothersome to us in any way. We even had a fire outside, still no bother. The grounds were nicely kept and the front porch was so inviting with the rocking chairs. The electric fireplace was on when we entered the home. That was such a nice touch. The house had everything you could think of, we were missing nothing. The welcome basket was fantastic and featured local items. The location was great, close to all of the antique shops. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back soon.

The property is nicely located out in the country for those not minding a little bit of a drive from the main towns. We enjoyed the beautiful, relaxing landscape that surrounds this property regardless of which direction you travel. We didn\'t realize that there were so many different ways to access this property from the different tourist attractions in the greater Lancaster area! This was a bonus for us as we love being able to see the many different farms and homes that are unique to this region. The trailer has been fixed up very nicely and is both cozy and spacious. It is well stocked with everything one will need for a several day get away. We enjoyed all of the updates that have been done to this vacation rental to make our stay as nice as possible - thank you! The only negative that we experienced was how close to the highway it is located. Being that it is a trailer, it isn\'t as sound proof as a regular house. The highway traffic (especially the semis) are constantly heard - even at night. However, we got used to this as "background noise" and almost forgot that we were even by the highway. Overall, we had a very enjoyable, relaxing time at this location. The owners are very easy to communicate with and are quick to respond to any questions. My wife and I would without question stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay - the host was very helpful, both in pre-stay communications as well as with in-property explanations of where to find such things as kitchen items, complimentary snacks, etc. It was a very comfortable "country retreat", and we would certainly return to stay there again.

I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy. This place is just pure heaven, and everything was thought of. From the moment we walked in and the fireplace was on I felt like I was home and was able to relax. We loved the snack basket and all the touches throughout the house. I can't wait to come back.

This place was wonderful - all of the essential amenities plus many personal touches like a welcoming basket of goodies - the yard is spectacular with flowers and wildlife and guests are welcome to pick tomatoes and other produce from the garden area - the location is also very convenient to the Lancaster county attractions

Very impressed. Even better than pictures show. Extremely clean and fresh smell throughout. Cozy, nicely decorated, new furniture, comfortable beds with fresh clean linens. Homemade muffins and local made treats provided. Large front covered porch with dusk/dawn lighting to enjoy sipping your coffee or tea. Back porch as well for relaxing, fire pit and a few home grown crops, raspberries/lavender in back yard to pick when in season. Great place to stay!

The property was very clean and comfortable. The decor was cozy and allowed us to relax during our stay. The host truly thought of everything we could need and even provided snacks from the area and a nice selection of coffee in the morning. The only negative was the highway. It was very loud through the night. The host did have a noise machine and we realized in the morning extra fans to block out noise. Might not be a great place to stay if you are a light sleeper. Overall a lovely visit and an excellent host!
