Cozy Lakeside Cabin with Modern Amenities. Romantic Escape 1.75 hrs from Seattle

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. I especially appreciated a lot of the little things...nice towels, comfortable furniture, nice pots and pans. It was great having the kayaks and the lake was perfect for swimming.

Loved our stay at Camp Lago! We spent hours playing cards on the deck, hanging out on the dock, and relaxing in the hot tub after a hike. This property has everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful vacation

We had a very relaxing time at the cabin. The place and area is beautiful and we really enjoyed using the watercraft toys, hot tub, and outdoor areas.

Had a wonderful stay at Camp Lago. Loved the location as well as the peacefulness. The cabin itself is very well thought out and was more than enough space for my husband and I and our little dog. We enjoyed and took advantage of all the little different spots to sit in and just take it all in. We enjoyed listening to and watching the the eagles and we got to see them successfully dive for fish. also saw a little otter who put on a little playful show for us. The water was perfect for swimming as well. We hope to go back.

This cabin has everything you need to have a wonderful weekend. The lake, the hot tub, the places around were perfect. Easy to check in and check out. We really loved this place.

The house is very small and cozy, and located right on the lake. Washington weather being what it is, it rained most every minute of our trip and that is what keeps Washington looking green so its not a negative! Just that we didn't venture out on the lake much. The hot tub was great, it started to snow while we in the tub. That was fun. Overall relaxing and wonderful, and would rent again.

This cabin was tucked away in the forest on the most peaceful lake. Even though it ended up being a chilly for swimming in the lake, it was so nice to be able to warm up and enjoy the outdoors in the hot tub. My only advice is that if you plan to bring your own kayak, paddleboards, etc (or justa lot of gear) be prepared to treck them down the steep terrain/stairs to the lake. Wasnt too bad for us, but for some it may be difficult. Overall a great trip!

The physical description of the property was exactly as it was represented on VRBO. The amenities and domestic items were plentiful and the home was very clean. Outside, there were available kayaks, barbecue pit and assorted seating areas for our use, all very nice. The lake was perfect for swimming and kayaking, the water is so crystal clear, it was awesome. The only concern that we had was that on two days the temperature exceeded 90 and there was no air conditioning in the cabin, it was very warm to sleep at night. I would recommend a small AC unit for July, August and September. Other than that, our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the solitude of the woods, walking and driving for sightseeing in the area was very nice.

It snowed while we were there, so we didn’t get to sit outside, but the deck is large and the property is well maintained. Would be even more fun in the warmer weather. I highly recommend staying here.

This trip was so fun for my mom and I to have a girls trip while visiting Washington for a wedding! The little cabin was the perfect size and it was perfect to get away from the city and be in the quiet of nature. Birds were all around and the scenery was breathtaking. The only thing that maybe needed a little improvement was the coffee maker. It was dirty from the previous visitors so we didn’t use it. Other than that, I’d definitely recommend to stay at Camp Lago.

We had the best weekend at Camp Lago. The house is cozy and it is clear that a lot of thoughtfulness was put into the details. The mattress is great! You can't beat the location. We had a great time hanging out on the deck, paddling in the lake, and relaxing in the hot tub. We hope to make it back there soon!

This property had everything I was looking for for a quiet weekend away! The cabin is lakefront on a quiet, non-motorized lake. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals (like seriously, EVERYTHING).

My two friends and I decided to run away for Christmas this year, wanting to find something secluded, quiet and in the woods. And with this booking, we found that and more. This cabin is not only adorable and super cozy, the views from the living room window of the lake are stunning. We sat at night and watched the rain fall/the trees sway, watched the sun come up in the morning on the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit outside. Watched some Christmas movies while making some Christmas cookies and dinner, wearing our complimentary fuzzy socks. This place is perfect for either a couple needing a romantic getaway, a group of 3 friends wanting to make some memories, or even great for if you just need some alone time. Needless to say - you need to stay here. I will absolutely be staying here again and again.

really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cute, cozy and had a great kitchen and comfy bed. The large deck with a view of the lake was awesone. We utilized the dock and kayaked every day. The location was great too for excursions to Bremerton, lavendar farms, sol duc falls and pickleball at Lions Park Bremerton and Founders park Bainbridge Island.

It was a quiet and cozy time. Very comfortable bed! Very quiet and felt like we were up in a treehouse. Saw an otter on the lake and were happy with everything.

Even better than the photos, felt unreal. Absolutely breathtaking view & such a healing place. The host was super responsive and patient with me. I ended up getting in after 1:30 am and she made sure I found the cabin. Planning another visit in the near future.

The sign above the door reads, This Is My Happy Place, and we could not agree more. This was a spur of the moment getaway and did not disappoint! Our wonderful hosts set great expectations for this cozy cabin tucked in the steep wooded hillside overlooking beautiful Benson Lake. It is a quick trip from Seattle and immediately we felt a sense of peace, calm, and relaxation upon arrival. The cabin was guest ready with all the amendments we love, including a well-stocked stash of drinks and various snacks. The decor is so well done with many unique touches mixing the old with the new including up-cycled kitchen cabinetry, vintage avocado sliding glass pocket door, and a beautiful wood burning stove. Classy handmade artwork highlighting the owners many talents were easy to find, including a graphic map of the area, handmade fiber-art, framed paper-art and more. The view is to die for, whether it's from the sofa sipping coffee, the deck drinking a glass of wine, or lounging under the twinkle lights above the hot tub. Every single location takes in the spectacular views of this crystal clear non-motorized lake. Our trip came along with an unexpected snow storm which slowed the pace down even more. Mother nature beautifully painted the scenery white which made for a dreamy gorgeous setting. While hunkered down, this became an artist's studio with the open layout, abundant windows, and natural light. After the snow melted our host made suggestions of unique areas to explore along the Hood River, all taking in spectacular views of the Olympic Mountain range. We can't wait to return when the weather is warm so we can take advantage of the property's toys including kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit and pier opportunities. We would highly recommend a stay at Camp Lago so you too can make this Your Happy Place.

O didn’t hear from the until 11 am the day of check in. I had not heard so I thought it through the owner was nice enough to email me the directions and instructions so I hurry to pack up for myself puppy and my disabled son who uses a walker. Drove 1 hr to g t to the cabin hard to find in the fog I Parker the car at the top of the hill I started down the stairs it was very rustic a mountain goat trail If I had a chance to know more about the property I would not have chose it was my for my son and I to experience new places to stay while my son was not when to access the cabin I was at the property when I called the owner she said she would help get me a refund I followed up the next morning the very next day I call Vrbo and was told I would need to get the refund from the owner I called the number I used the night before and got vice message I left my contact information asked if we could negotiate a refund perhaps a percentage not the full amount. I got a call from a man saying I called his cell and that was not the owner. So buyer beware make sure you know well in advance the access and availability and accommodations ☹️
