Tucked away off the main street of downtown Lewisburg, our charming bungalow features a large open concept living, dining, and kitchen area with comfortable seating and a beautiful gas fireplace (Available for use OCTOBER through APRIL 1st)...

Greenbrier Valley Theatre and North House Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Lewisburg Elks Country Club and Smooth Ambler Spirits. This charming home is decorated to a tee, is super clean, and in a great location....walkable to all the cute shops and restaurants in Lewisburg. The owner is helpful and provides great recommendations. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee on the porch swing and watching a momma and baby deer walk through the yard.

The carriage house was lovely. It was spacious, well appointed, attractive, and very clean. The space had a soothing vibe and was not cluttered. The outside space was attractively landscaped with a beautiful fire pit area. Excellent parking too. The proximity to the town’s shops, restaurants and historical sites was perfect. We walked to everything in town. We went to the New River Gorge National Park which was a bit of a drive but such a scenic one. We also took in some of the Cranberry Corridor, another scenic and fun drive, and the Greenbrier River Trail. The tour at the Lewisburg Museum is worthwhile to learn about the history of the area. All in all we are happy we stayed in Lewisburg and this is a rental that we would not hesitate recommending.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick getaway. The stay was well appointed, and we had everything we needed. We really liked the location as it was right on the outskirts of town, but literally only a minute or two from the restaurants. It is a hilly town, so be prepared for a good workout to and from the home if you are walking! We were excited about the fire pit and the gas fireplace, but only got around to using the gas fireplace as we ended turning in early after dinner both nights. The directions were clear, and the host was responsive. It was exactly as pictured. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again on a return trip.

This was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Lewisburg! Everything is truly a stone’s throw away, we were able to walk to nearly every place we visited over the weekend. The house was beautiful and incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again!

My adult children, my husband and I stayed at this lovely place. If you don’t mind a little hill, the walk to and from the little downtown is perfect. The house was super clean. Beds were comfy. We loved how it was decorated with a barn industrial but with style. The manager was very communicative, would totally stay here again. My 23 year old daughter even said should live there. Be sure to check out the Humble Tomato restaurant. That ended up being our favorite!

We absolutely love Lewisburg, and this cottage is our new favorite place to stay, so I'm torn about leaving this review and the word getting out to everyone about this wonderful property. ;) The cottage is very well decorated with Architectural Digest vibes - but in the best and coziest way possIble. We loved the way the quiet cottage was located just off Washington Street and private, but walkable to all the shops and restaurants in downtown. David was very helpful with his directions and tips for our stay, and was the perfect host - we’ll definitely look forward to booking again soon!

Although the temperatures were frigid, we were snug and comfortable at Stones Throw. This was our second stay and it has become a favorite. We love the town of Lewisburg and enjoyed shopping in the nearby shops. So convenient to eateries and the people are warm and welcoming. Found an adorable country diner in White Sulphuric (Cook’s Country Kitchen) for a hearty winter breakfast. We are certain to return and tell our friends.

This charming home is decorated to a tee, is super clean, and in a great location....walkable to all the cute shops and restaurants in Lewisburg. The owner is helpful and provides great recommendations. I especially enjoyed having my morning coffee on the porch swing and watching a momma and baby deer walk through the yard.

The carriage house was lovely. It was spacious, well appointed, attractive, and very clean. The space had a soothing vibe and was not cluttered. The outside space was attractively landscaped with a beautiful fire pit area. Excellent parking too. The proximity to the town’s shops, restaurants and historical sites was perfect. We walked to everything in town. We went to the New River Gorge National Park which was a bit of a drive but such a scenic one. We also took in some of the Cranberry Corridor, another scenic and fun drive, and the Greenbrier River Trail. The tour at the Lewisburg Museum is worthwhile to learn about the history of the area. All in all we are happy we stayed in Lewisburg and this is a rental that we would not hesitate recommending.

My partner and I stayed here for a quick getaway. The stay was well appointed, and we had everything we needed. We really liked the location as it was right on the outskirts of town, but literally only a minute or two from the restaurants. It is a hilly town, so be prepared for a good workout to and from the home if you are walking! We were excited about the fire pit and the gas fireplace, but only got around to using the gas fireplace as we ended turning in early after dinner both nights. The directions were clear, and the host was responsive. It was exactly as pictured. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again on a return trip.

This was the perfect place to stay to enjoy Lewisburg! Everything is truly a stone’s throw away, we were able to walk to nearly every place we visited over the weekend. The house was beautiful and incredibly clean. Would definitely stay again!

David was an excellent host; communicative and thorough. The bungalow was just as described; the kitchen was well appointed including the small details such as storage containers and a citrus zester! The beds were very comfy, with high end linens, and the bedrooms included spacious closets. All in all a wonderful visit and I would highly recommend!
