Everything was very clean and comfortable. The deck was very pleasant, especially with the hot tub.It was only a walk away from the downtown area. Convenient to other sightseeing areas.Host provided great info. on area highlights!

Fully stocked from spices to tea to firewood and kindling- we were extremely impressed with the attention to detail and comfort. All guests exclaimed how comfortable the beds and pillows were. The hot tub is so great for a group of teens to chat in for hours at a time- puzzles and games galore are fun for all- but the layout to me is the best because the living dining and kitchen area are one (very) big room so all of the guests feel they are together while cooking, eating and cozying up in the large L shaped couch. We will definitely stay again- this was already our second stay and it was even better the second time!

We stayed here for our Redwoods vacation. Great location to the park and to the beach. The property itself is spacious, clean, organized, and has a wonderful backyard surrounded by forest! The place also has a very clean jacuzzi! The bed is also so comfortable. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely restful place under the redwoods. The hot tub on the deck overlooks a roomy fenced yard with an ancient apple tree. The king sized beds were comfortable and we enjoyed using the cozy fireplace as well. Nice and quiet though Trinidad is close by.

The house is charming and peaceful, sparkling clean and well-stocked. This is the perfect place to stay in Trinidad. The scenery is beautiful, and it's still close to everything. We just loved everything about this house and would love to be back!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall place is lovely and location is incredibly convenient! However, it seems like there is some mold and/or mildew somewhere in the laundry room that gets into the hvac system that made my wife's inflammatory system go haywire (she's had previous mold exposure that took her years to recover from). Note that I gave the cleanliness 2 stars nut that is not the housekeepers fault - they were great, as finding/ cleaning mold requires a professional.

We had an incredible stay at this house! It was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like home, and the wonderful backyard was perfect for relaxing. Being within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

The location is close and convenient to the redwoods. My young adult sons and I absolutely loved the house and the town of Trinidad. This property far exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly comfortable and the location/accessibility to everything Trinidad and thd surrounding areas have to offer is ideal. The neighborhood is quiet and even though Hwy 101 is close, the traffic does not disrupt the peace and quiet the property offers. The home was spotless and we had every creature comfort we needed. We had nothing but great communication from the owners from the time we booked in January, right up to/during our trip in July. We love to visit the area and will plan to try to stay here again during our next trip!♡

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Redwood Retreat house. The kitchen was well stocked, including plenty of cookware, dishes, and pantry essentials. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable, and the couch is cozy. The hot tub was amazing and the backyard was perfect for sports for my kids. This was a freat choice for us as a family and everyone enjoyed themselves.

It is clear this house has been loved and cherished. Beautiful art and healthy house plants made it homey. It was spacious and comfortable, filled with games (we did 6 puzzles!). The open floor plan made for lovely family time- some were lounging on the large comfy couch, some playing games at the large dining table and some were cooking in the kitchen but we were able to all talk and enjoy each other’s company. It was extremely clean and organized and had every kitchen need that came up for cooking three meals a day for three days. Superb and efficient wood burning stove with some complimentary wood. The huge yard with lush green grass was perfect for the dog. The deck and the hot tub were beautiful and lots of fun especially for the teens. All three of the beds were extremely comfortable. This house was better than we imagined it would be, the hosts were conscientious and communicative and we will definitely be back. The location was great too- super close to the local supermarket and walking distance to great trails and restaurants. Can’t wait to see it in spring or summer when the flowers are blooming!

The location was great too- super close to the local supermarket and walking distance to great trails and restaurants. Can’t wait to see it in spring or summer when the flowers are blooming!

It was a quiet area that was tucked into the forest. The house had a wonderful open space and plenty of room. Nice fenced yard for our pup. It was nicely located to downtown Trinidad. The beds were very comfy.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The home seemed well curated with quality items and felt like staying with family, not like staying in a rental. Overall, we agreed this home was clean and very comfortable. It was located near everything and easy to get too. The hot tub was a nice touch for a cool evening. The beds were extra comfortable as well. We loved the beautiful flowers too. The only thing I can say, it is not the short walk to the beach as we had hoped. It seems a bit misleading. I don't feel it would be safe crossing over Hwy 101, but the good news is, it is a very short drive.

We would definitely stay here again! Very clean. There are actual redwood trees in the front yard. Even better than what we expected from the pictures. The family room/kitchen area is very large. Great location! close to the ocean (it would be a long walk, but you could walk there). Right next to the 101, so easy to get everything. But did not hear freeway noise, felt like it was in the middle of the woods. Only 10 minutes from the Arcata airport. Great hosts. Had all of the amenities you would need. Very comfortable. Felt recently updated.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Redwood Retreat house. The kitchen was well stocked, including plenty of cookware, dishes, and pantry essentials. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable, and the couch is cozy. The hot tub was amazing and the backyard was perfect for sports for my kids. This was a freat choice for us as a family and everyone enjoyed themselves.

The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great to cook in. The fenced in yard was nice but after all the rain it was pretty boggy and there were a number of spots a small dog could escape. The location was great and easy to jump around the area. We appreciated the cleanliness and the quality of bedding and towels and all the games. We look forward to future stays in Trinidad! Thank you for hosting us.

This home had everything we needed. We have kids ages 4,8, and 11 and it was great space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, the backyard space was nice to have and it was very central to all the outdoor activities we were doing. We enjoyed exploring the tiny town of Trinidad. We walked to the store and restaurants. The laundry room was also definitely utilized after our outdoor adventures. The owners provided great details and instructions so there was never any questions or confusion during our stay. The house does run quite chilly, so be sure to bring your slippers or extra layers for around the house. Would definitely recommend!

This house is beautifully decorated, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The hot tub feels great. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook your own meals. The location couldn’t be better! The house is in Trinidad which has the friendliest people and wonderful restaurants. They also have a beautiful beach and their own nature trail. The location is close and convenient to the redwoods. My young adult sons and I absolutely loved the house and the town of Trinidad. We will be back and we will definitely want to stay in this house!!

Great place for my family to stay. Great location between the Avenue of the Giants to the south and the national parks to the north. Our family of six had plenty of room and a wonderful time. Would highly recommend.

Very nice house for our friends trip. There are not a ton of food options around but a great market so we were prepared to cook, went to a couple places and then used it as home base to travel around the county. Beds and couch were so comfortable, kitchen was easy to use, and it is so quiet- we miss it now being home. The deck was my favorite part, breakfast out there was delightful! We even saw a banana slug in the drive way!
