My deer House - Green retreat for the whole family

The most charming place you could imagine. Peaceful! The town had everything you could need. Edeka the grocery store is literally next door. Fresh bread in the mornings so good!! There is a long private driveway to the cottage - so it is secluded and at the same time close to everything you need. It was the respite we needed in the middle of our month traveling Europe! Check out the Therme not too far from the house. Heavenly.

The house was in a unique spot within Worthsee - very relaxing and quiet. It is close to a grocery store for anything we needed. Feeding the deer was also fun.

This was our first visit to Germany and so glad we stayed here. The location was a perfect home base to visit Munich and other towns within the Bavaria region including Worthsee. Hosts have a well maintained and lovely property.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Ilonka’s home. We stayed with our two kiddos for four nights, and it was lovely. The home was incredibly clean and had everything we needed and more (great kitchen utensils, pots and pans and appliances, coffee, towels, washer/dryer, books/magazines, Netflix, games, and reliable Wifi). Our kids loved feeding the deer, and we spent a lot of time outside under the trees at the picnic table playing games and relaxing in the hammock. The home is a 5 minute walk to the grocery store, which also has a bakery and coffee (open on Sunday’s), and the lake with restaurants is less than a mile. The bikes at the home look brand new and were really nice to use to go to dinner. The train station is close with easy access to Munich and the airport. We did several day trips to Munich and the Neuschwanstein Castle, but we’re so happy we stayed here rather than in the busy city of Munich. Ilonka went above and beyond and was very responsive and kind. Truly an amazing place!

Auch bei unserem zweiten Besuch war der Urlaub in diesem Cottage ein Traum. Es ist der perfekte Ort um Ruhe und Ausgleich vom sonst gut getakteten Familienalltag zu erfahren. Der tägliche Rehbesuch zur Dämmerung zaubert stets eine magische Stimmung herbei. Der charmante Wörthsee bietet an heißen Tagen verschiedene tolle Badestellen, ohne sich je unangenehm überlaufen anzufühlen. Ein Supermarkt als Nachbar ist auch nie verkehrt. ;) Die Gastgeberin, Ilonka, ist ein sehr sehr angenehmer Mensch - wahnsinnig freundlich und professionell. Wäre es möglich, würden wir auch sechs Sterne vergeben.Vielen Dank & hoffentlich bis zum nächsten Mal!
