Private 5-acre Waterfront Peninsula w/ Beach

There were so many things to do at this beautiful location! We enjoyed boating, swimming, crabbing, disc golf, bonfires, games, and more! The house comfortably sleeps 21 people! It’s a lovely house that has an incredible view and it’s so quiet and relaxing.

The house and yard have an immaculate beauty. Pristine deck and beautiful cut grass The house is built with unique features such as two separate stairs to upstairs area. You feel a serenity sitting on the massive deck with steps and looking at the bay. We drove down from New York. The house was clean and has beautiful window showing view of bay. My family really loved your house and was asking if it’s custom built. The detail usage of small space to store and contain everything a family needs so resourcefully. We went kayaking on first day there and light ripples traveling from our rowing was a special sight. I always loved kayaking but my niece (11 yrs) tried it for first time. She claims to be a pro now. My nephew(5 yrs) enjoyed the all the space for him to explore and play. He also loved the disc golf . My mom loved your beautiful deck where you sit and just watch the beauty of nature. My brother loved the beach bonfire experience. He sat reminiscing about some other time he tried it. My sister loved the fact everything was so accessible and compartmented. She loves the beautiful lake view and sitting in hot tub looking up at the starry night. My cousin loved kayaking and crab catching experience most. We also added pirates ship swim,kayak,island float, peddle boat and river float for kids. This is first time we tried renting an house like this and it was such positive experience. The owner Mary was very helpful and open to communicating throughout our stay.

This is a great property if you have kids bc there’s lots to do to keep them busy without having to go far. The location is definitely private which makes a great hideaway but tricky for grocery/food delivery, if you plan on using it. Aside from that, the house has everything that you need. Check in was listed at 4p. We arrived slightly earlier & found a crew of people inside that was cleaning & setting up the amenities we had paid extra for. I would have expected all of this to be done before check-in time but we had to wait 45 min for the crew to leave. They did forget to put away some cleaning supplies which were left on the stairs but not a big deal. I reached out to Mary via text & the VRBO platform months before our stay with a question but never received a response. I did finally get a reply when I reached out again with another question closer to our trip date. Frustrating. But she was very responsive once we were on property. We paid extra for the inflatable slide and pirate pool during our stay. The hose that’s being used for these inflations take forever to fill & the crew initially forgot to seal the plug in the pool so it kept leaking and wouldn’t fill. We figured it out but wasn’t able to use it upon arrival. Everything comes at an added cost which racks up quickly. If you want shade umbrellas, the grill, crab cages, etc. We paid for a lot of extras & for the cost, I expected more. Overall it was a fine experience. Generally smooth but won’t re-book.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home ... it is lovelier in person than the pics. Mary has an amazing attention for detail and was extremely responsive during the check-in process and throughout our stay. The grandchildren enjoyed the water-slide and the older kids enjoyed the beach and the hot tub and the kayaking. Close to stores when needed. Would highly recommend. Thank you, Mary!

I held my daughters 18th birthday party here, and it was incredible! Plenty of room for hanging out and great for overnight guests (lots of rooms and places to sleep). Beautiful house, inside and out! Lots of things to keep people busy and entertained, but just as many for relaxing. Fantastic stay overall with a wonderful host!!! Would absolutely recommend.
