The condo was exactly as pictured. We loved being right on the beach. It was really nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. There s a lot of homeless in the are but the property is very secure.

What a wonderful way to start our family trip! The property itself felt very secure and safe. The security guard helped us with the check-in process when we arrived after 10pm. The unit was very clean and modern, and well-stocked with pretty much everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Beautiful view of the private beach from the lanai. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our young kiddos, especially since the waves were too big for them to swim. Our only wish was that the shower water temperature was hotter. It stayed pretty lukewarm, even at its highest, but this was a very minor inconvenience. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the west side!

We had the most amazing time. We actually stayed during a strong storm that caused lots of flooding and the loss of power on the island! Despite the storm we still enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this hidden gem! It was stunningly beautiful even with the rain and gray clouds! Once the skies cleared it felt like a dream. The colors of the ocean, the softness of the sand, the rocky coastline and mountains on both ends of the beach… it was just perfect. Due to the storm we had really big waves! Kids loved playing just along the shoreline and taking dips in the pool. We saw countless sea turtles, sea lions/seals and orcas! It was a constant stream of marine life! The ocean was finally calm on our last day but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. We are eager to go back and get some snorkeling in! Sunsets are magical. The older residents blow the conch shells right at sunset, it’s such a beautiful community moment.Just to address the homeless - I was admittedly nervous to book because of what you hear about the area. You see a lot of homeless in Honolulu so I assumed this was the same and decided to book. I am SO HAPPY I booked. You definitely see more homeless along this coastline than in other areas. It is very sad to see but I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe at any point in the area and especially never felt that way at the condo. The facilities are gated and secure. Security is always present onsite. Little key tags are required to enter/exit at every entry point.

I stayed in the property for a week. I was in business and needed a place to sleep and relax. This was it. It was clean, pillows were comfy and the owner sent me a huge list odnthings tonsk and places to shop which I thought was pretty cool. There were alt of homeless and traffic but its like that where I'm from x10 so that didn't bother me.i was in the 2nd floor and I felt like I was in a boat that's how close the water is. Water was so blue and hardly anyonTh on the beach. Security is awesome and the people are friendly. I would stay here again. My ONLY complaint was the shower never got hot. Lukewarm at best. But other than that, AMAZING. I recommend this place.

This property sits on a beautiful sandy beach. The condo itself is extremely nice, well furnished, and CLEAN! The sofa was a nice, leather, sleeper. The kitchen had stainless steel appliances and a front load washer/dryer. There is a traditional coffee pot and a keurig for whichever fits your liking. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and found it was nicely stocked with an assortment of pots/pans and utensils. We grilled on the community grill every other night! The bed was comfortable. The unit also has A/C, which in our experience on any Hawaiian island, is not a usual amenity, but most welcomed! We loved sitting on the lanai for coffee and for the most amazing sunsets. We were treated to some dolphins playing out in the bay on our last morning there. We played Pickleball and loved walking on the beach. I’d give our stay 10/10 for the condo and experience we had there. It is not untrue that there are lots of homeless people nearby. Although, from what we saw, that could be said of any location in Oahu. Not once did we feel unsafe at the condo. The building has security at night and is fully fenced and secured, requiring key fobs, which we really appreciated…for the increased security. It’s a bit of a drive to the Waikiki area, but for us, that wasn’t an issue because one night of dealing with so many people and we were even more sure of our decision NOT to stay downtown! If you want a beautiful beach, and clean condo, that has a/c, this is your place!

We loved staying here. Quiet and cozy stay with a nice clean pool and amazing views. Tammy gave us some great restaurants to try and some fun activities close by to check out. Will definitely look to stay here again next time. We loved sitting on the lanai every night and watching the sunset

Instructions were pretty simple. I like that there is a security guard and it's a gated property. Last part is the ocean views. You just can't beat that! Beach is clean. Plenty of room on the beach. People are nice. Will stay again in the future! Thanks Tammy!

My family loved our stay here. We loved that it wasn’t as touristy and crowded. The beach in front was beautiful and full of life. We spent hours snorkeling and got to see turtles. All the staff was friendly and helpful and parking was great. Our condo even had beach chairs, umbrellas and. We will definitely be coming back

Condo was very clean and well appointed. The mattress was amazingly comfortable. Check in was easy.It was the view from the Lanai! If you want the "excitement" of the city and the toe to toe beach walking environment of Waikiki, then this is not for you. But if you want peaceful, beautiful azure surf right in front of you, plus spellbinding sunsets, shared by a handful of people. This is the place. Our visit was in February, so the crowds were low, but there are only 2 properties sharing this stretch of beach, so it definitely has a private feel. Loved every minute.

I had read the reviews before renting this property and I am so glad we chose it. The view was spectacular and with the private beach, you could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and listen to the waves. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the floor was not very clean. You couldn’t tell by looking at it but our feet were quite dirty after walking on it. Other than that, we had no issues. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable, even the sofa sleeper. You could sleep 5 but it would be a bit crowded. After going out on day trips we always looked forward to coming back to the quietness of this condo. The only thing I would say is we were told there was security and it was gated for our safety but the gate was not closed for the last 4 days of our stay. We had no safety issues and in fact the security guard came to our room to tell us our lights had been left on so we appreciated that. There are lots of homeless people in the area but we had no problems at all with them. The last thing I’ll say is finding restaurants other than fast food is difficult in this area. Unless you’re willing to drive a while it would be better to go to the grocery and get food to cook. It wasn’t a problem for us but if you like eating out you may be disappointed. With all this said, Tammy, the owner was great and very helpful with suggestions of places to shop, visit and eat and we loved staying at the Hawaiian Princess.

Overall, my wife and I loved this place. Nice location right on the beach with good places to eat nearby. Convenient washer and dryer and a full kitchen. The view from the balcony is unbeatable, just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite things while staying there was being able to cook with a full view of the beach and eating meals with my wife on the balcony. My only complaint would be the shower. It's advertised as a luxury shower with multiple heads/functions, but I guess with a combination of hard water and previous guests, it is a shell of its former self with only the main head working with the water coming out in random directions. The shower floor, I believe was installed with good intentions, but the unevenness of the "rocks" made it uncomfortable and the grooves between them seemed to have provided an challenge in maintaining cleanliness. Overall, we loved it. There seems to have been great care in the design and remodeling of the unit. We really felt comfortable and at home. We definitely would recommend this place to others and would absolutely consider staying there again.

Floors were not as clean as preferred. Noticed when you walked barefoot on tile. Hot water in shower not hot enough. TV remote in living room did not work even after changing batteries. Kureig was not working. Otherwise accommodations were nice and staff on site helpful.

Great property but we didn’t like the rain shower and the ac doesn’t work all that well. Beautiful and clean though. Parking is EXTREMELY tight!! All huge vehicles these days.

The condo was smaller than i thought, but fine for just the two of us. The view was beautiful so that made up for the size. It was sad to see all the homeless and trash piled up on the way in. It was clean and had everything we needed. The front door needs some attention. The glass slat on the bottom fell out on the first day, we got it back in and rolled it closed and didn't open it again and the screen on the inside of the door would not stay on but those were minor things and didn’t bother our stay. All in all it was a nice place.

The West side of Oahu is a little sketch, but this property has some serious wow factor, particularly the beach views from the lanai. It is on the second floor overlooking a spectacular beach and the sunsets here are unreal. The surf is very high, so not the best swimming beach but a beautiful one too sit and relax on. The condo is also very nice, with updated furnishings and a good kitchen. The only negative is that the shower is missing a spray handle, making it harder to get sand off your lower body. But that is a minor inconvenience. If you are looking at staying in this area, I highly recommend renting this place.

My husband and I LOVED staying at this condo, we spent alot of time in the mornings and evenings sitting on the balcony listening to and watching the waves break on the rocks. We took alot of photos of wave action and the sunsets. We really enjoyed our time in Waianae!

Property was as advertised very nice and quaint we had 5 guest and only 1 bathroom which was a pain but we knew that going in. Neighborhood wasn’t the greatest but we always felt safe. My only complaint would be the a/c couldn’t cool the place below 80 degrees.

Overall, my wife and I loved this place. Nice location right on the beach with good places to eat nearby. Convenient washer and dryer and a full kitchen. The view from the balcony is unbeatable, just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite things while staying there was being able to cook with a full view of the beach and eating meals with my wife on the balcony. My only complaint would be the shower. It's advertised as a luxury shower with multiple heads/functions, but I guess with a combination of hard water and previous guests, it is a shell of its former self with only the main head working with the water coming out in random directions. What a wonderful way to start our family trip! The property itself felt very secure and safe. The security guard helped us with the check-in process when we arrived after 10pm. The unit was very clean and modern, and well-stocked with pretty much everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Beautiful view of the private beach from the lanai. The pool and hot tub were perfect for our young kiddos, especially since the waves were too big for them to swim. Our only wish was that the shower water temperature was hotter. It stayed pretty lukewarm, even at its highest, but this was a very minor inconvenience. Will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the west side!

We went everywhere from this delightful condo and had a enjoyable place to come back to after a busy day of hiking or visiting one of the many places on this little piece of heaven on earth. The condo and the property are well maintained.The sunsets are gorgeous and the beach and the ocean are relaxing. As a note, I don't think that I have ever worked with such a welcoming, understanding, and hospitable host as Tammy. We were able to visit a ton of local spots and had insight on the island itself thanks to her. She was absolutely awesome.

The condo was just as described. It was clean and comfortable, and had nice furnishings. There were lots of extras for your use at the beach, which was pretty private and well kept. There is on site security, but even at that I never felt uncomfortable during my stay. The sunsets were amazing, from the beach and from your own lanai. Tammy was great to communicate with, we will definitely stay here again the next time we come to the west shore. As a side note, be sure to drive to the end of the road going north, more amazing beaches that way.

Instructions were pretty simple. I like that there is a security guard and it's a gated property. Last part is the ocean views. You just can't beat that! Beach is clean. Plenty of room on the beach. People are nice. Will stay again in the future! Thanks Tammy!

My family loved our stay here. We loved that it wasn’t as touristy and crowded. The beach in front was beautiful and full of life. We spent hours snorkeling and got to see turtles. All the staff was friendly and helpful and parking was great. Our condo even had beach chairs, umbrellas and. We will definitely be coming back

The view was everything we hoped and more. To be 20 steps from the ocean was worth the driving we did to also go on excursions. The area surrounding the condo was a bit run down. There are large camps of homeless in town as well. All the suggestions from the host were spot on! The beach was always almost empty. It was so relaxing and amazing! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Condo was nice and clean. Beach was amazing- clean and private. Everything was great. The only down side that would prevent us coming back is the homeless presence in the area. Tents and homeless were visible on the rocks adjacent the beach. Homeless bring all associated problems. The whole west shore seems to have a problem.

We had the most amazing time. We actually stayed during a strong storm that caused lots of flooding and the loss of power on the island! Despite the storm we still enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this hidden gem! It was stunningly beautiful even with the rain and gray clouds! Once the skies cleared it felt like a dream. The colors of the ocean, the softness of the sand, the rocky coastline and mountains on both ends of the beach… it was just perfect. Due to the storm we had really big waves! Kids loved playing just along the shoreline and taking dips in the pool. We saw countless sea turtles, sea lions/seals and orcas! It was a constant stream of marine life! The ocean was finally calm on our last day but we didn’t have time to enjoy it. We are eager to go back and get some snorkeling in! Sunsets are magical. The older residents blow the conch shells right at sunset, it’s such a beautiful community moment.Just to address the homeless - I was admittedly nervous to book because of what you hear about the area. You see a lot of homeless in Honolulu so I assumed this was the same and decided to book. I am SO HAPPY I booked. You definitely see more homeless along this coastline than in other areas. It is very sad to see but I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe at any point in the area and especially never felt that way at the condo. The facilities are gated and secure. Security is always present onsite. Little key tags are required to enter/exit at every entry point.

We stayed at Tammy's condo for one week with our 3 children. At first the place seemed small for us 5 but surprisingly space was enough. The place is fully equipped and super clean. The beds are comfortable. The condo is quiet and security is excellent. We loved having our meals and watching sunset on the balcony. The beach just outside the condo is very nice and quiet, never crowded and there plenty of shade in the morning for the kids. The only disadvantage I see is the fact that there is no place really near by to have a nice supper (just a lot of fast-food) You have to drive minimum 20min and more to find a nice restaurant. Be prepared to see a lot of homeless in the neighborhood although they never bothered us or anybody. Besides this I think the place is great for a family vacation just make sure to rent a car to be able to drive around.

We loved our stay! I gave the location 5 stars because all the reviews managed expectations about the lower socio economic town the condo is located in. Yes, there are homeless encampments and unhoused people around, but they do not bother you. The beaches are outstanding and not crowded and the whole vibe of this area is NOT fancy. The condo itself was great!

Enjoyed the facilities, close to necessities. Watched whales every morning off lanai as we ate breakfast. The beach was very convenient, clean and private. We saw turtles in the waves when we were in the beach. Very comfortable lodging, had everything we needed. Never needed air conditioning, kept slider open whole time we were there and fans. Great to have the fresh air when inside. We really loved it and would definitely visits again.

We were in Hawaii to visit Pearl Harbor with our nine year old but wanted to stay in a quiet location with an uncrowded beach. This condo was perfect for that! We found lots to do in Honolulu and close to the condo also but especially enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners on the lanai. Great beach and friendly staff as well!

The only disadvantage I see is the fact that there is no place really near by to have a nice supper (just a lot of fast-food) You have to drive minimum 20min and more to find a nice restaurant. Be prepared to see a lot of homeless in the neighborhood although they never bothered us or anybody. Besides this I think the place is great for a family vacation just make sure to rent a car to be able to drive around.

We loved staying here. Quiet and cozy stay with a nice clean pool and amazing views. Tammy gave us some great restaurants to try and some fun activities close by to check out. Will definitely look to stay here again next time. We loved sitting on the lanai every night and watching the sunset

I had read the reviews before renting this property and I am so glad we chose it. The view was spectacular and with the private beach, you could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view and listen to the waves. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the floor was not very clean. You couldn’t tell by looking at it but our feet were quite dirty after walking on it. Other than that, we had no issues. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable, even the sofa sleeper. You could sleep 5 but it would be a bit crowded. After going out on day trips we always looked forward to coming back to the quietness of this condo. The only thing I would say is we were told there was security and it was gated for our safety but the gate was not closed for the last 4 days of our stay. We had no safety issues and in fact the security guard came to our room to tell us our lights had been left on so we appreciated that. There are lots of homeless people in the area but we had no problems at all with them. The last thing I’ll say is finding restaurants other than fast food is difficult in this area. Unless you’re willing to drive a while it would be better to go to the grocery and get food to cook. It wasn’t a problem for us but if you like eating out you may be disappointed. With all this said, Tammy, the owner was great and very helpful with suggestions of places to shop, visit and eat and we loved staying at the Hawaiian Princess.

Overall, my wife and I loved this place. Nice location right on the beach with good places to eat nearby. Convenient washer and dryer and a full kitchen. The view from the balcony is unbeatable, just absolutely amazing. One of my favorite things while staying there was being able to cook with a full view of the beach and eating meals with my wife on the balcony. My only complaint would be the shower. It's advertised as a luxury shower with multiple heads/functions, but I guess with a combination of hard water and previous guests, it is a shell of its former self with only the main head working with the water coming out in random directions. The shower floor, I believe was installed with good intentions, but the unevenness of the "rocks" made it uncomfortable and the grooves between them seemed to have provided an challenge in maintaining cleanliness. Overall, we loved it. There seems to have been great care in the design and remodeling of the unit. We really felt comfortable and at home. We definitely would recommend this place to others and would absolutely consider staying there again.

Beautiful condo in a beautiful setting! The views are amazing, beach is beautiful, and the condo contained everything that we needed. Our host was easy to get in touch with and very responsive. My only complaint was that we were so busy trying to see all the sights that we didn't leave ourselves enough time to enjoy the condo.

Gorgeous beach views right from your balcony. We saw turtles, seals and spinner dolphins from our room. Condo had EVERYTHING you need for kitchen, beach and anything else you would need. Shelley was very responsive and helpful.
