Hike & Ski! ‘Blue Heron’ Brodheadsville Cottage

We (extended family of about 27, (including 5 little ones) stayed at all 7 cottages and the Church house for a weeklong family gathering post our son's wedding in Phila. Every single thing about the accommodations, location, hosts, setting was perfect. each family had the space they needed and we also were able to gather for family meals on the porch of the big house in the evening. Folks were well occupied fishing, lounging, and hiking while we also had plenty of relaxed time to simply connect amidst the calming and sweet landscape. Val and Ross were extremely responsive and attentive hosts and shared stories that gave the place a sense of meaning. Now, with the next generation growing into young families, it was the ideal way to holiday together without being in one another's way. Can't say enough about the thought and care that went into every element of the resort, bravo...well done!

Took a few days for quiet, rest and relaxation. Couldn't have found a better place. The cottages are just as pictured. Very homey and comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous. Valerie and Ross were so nice to deal with. They answered all my questions and helped with anything I needed. Highly recommend.
