We booked the rental for Thanksgiving week. Everything was absolutely perfect. The entire rental is top of the line and has everything you need to be comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable! The giant fireplace in the living room was where we spent every single night listening to Christmas music and having wine. We had a wonderful day and would absolutely recommend this to any of our friends visiting the area! You won’t be disappointed.

Close to attractions, hiking, and good restaurants. House contains everything you could possibly need. Very interesting decorations throughout house. Especially liked the screened in porch for breakfasts and in the evening after dark. Hosts eager to make your stay enjoyable but were unobtrusive.

We enjoyed our stay - perfect for our family trip to Lake Placid and surrounding area. Everything you could ever want - listing is very accurate. So clean and spacious and incredibly nice and responsive hosts. Loved watching the birds from the screen porch, wonderful soaker tub and very comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

Very nice well equipped house that had everything you could need. It was very enjoyable and we appreciated the quality features, the fireplace and the furniture. Super close to Whiteface Mountain and we loved the skiing.

Parson Place was super roomy, super comfortable and super clean. We were a group of 4 (2 couples). The floorplan is actually really large, so we each had our own space when desired (one person could read at one end of the house without being disturbed by TV watching at the other end of the house.) But we all could hang out comfortably together too by the impressive fireplace. Location was perfect for us. Quiet and wooded but near enough to Lake Placid, hiking and an even we were attending at Mt VanHoevenburg.

The pretty property is roomy and comfortable, and its location was convenient to our plans--skiing Whiteface Mountain, visiting Olympic sites, and dining in Lake Placid. We made use of the well-stocked kitchen and enjoyed the large fireplace. The friendly owners gave us a tour upon arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Great location in the lake placid region of the Adirondacks. The house is beautiful and very well maintained. Plenty of room to hang out and well stocked kitchen and library. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and located in the attached house. Despite having the hosts next door the place feels very private. Great place as your base camp to explore the Adirondacks. Would recommend to families.

The pictures truly don't do it justice, this property is beautiful! Between Santa's workshop, all the lake placid activities, and the house, the house was my kids' favorite part of the whole trip. It was clean, well stocked, and Rex and Cay were communicative and helpful with every step along the way. We loved ending our day with a fire in the wood burning fireplace and the kitchen is the perfect place to cook dinner and socialize. My kids loved the availability of games and space to run. They were also a big fan of the tub! 10 out of 10, would love to come back!!

The house was very spacious. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked with small appliances and pots and pans. The coffee pot, dish washer and refrigerator were in excellent condition. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the connecting bathroom was very clean. The living room had large windows, fire place, large tv and furniture to enjoy your morning coffee. Exceptional home!!! Owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place. Impeccably clean, and our every need was anticipated. The hosts were lovely people. If you like to cook, a very well appointed kitchen. If you want to hike the high peaks, you couldn't find a better location. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This was the second time we stayed at Parson Place and the home is beautiful, clean and spacious, providing all the amenities we needed. We used the kitchen and dining room for many family meals and there was no shortage of pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses and utensils. The home was in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go in The Adirondacks, including Whiteface and Lake Placid. The hosts were right next door and were always available if we needed anything. Absolutely no complaints at all!

My husband and I stayed at this property as a “home base” to explore the Adirondacks. As avid hikers we enjoyed the quick and easy access to several mountain trails. The space was beautiful, plenty of room for four friends. The kitchen was really well stocked and perfect for cooking our dinners. Cay met us on arrival to give us a tour and was so friendly, and even picked some blueberries for us! We did a fabulous hike at Jay Mountain Trail - just 7 minutes from the house to the trailhead. Would love to stay here again.

A beautiful property close to Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Very spacious, has everything you can possibly need, the owners were absolutely wonderful to work with. We felt like we were staying at a very upscale property for a price lower than most hotels. In fact, it's about half as much the cost with the comfort of feeling like home!

A beautiful property close to Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Very spacious, has everything you can possibly need, the owners were absolutely wonderful to work with. We felt like we were staying at a very upscale property for a price lower than most hotels. In fact, it's about half as much the cost with the comfort of feeling like home!

The pictures truly don't do it justice, this property is beautiful! Between Santa's workshop, all the lake placid activities, and the house, the house was my kids' favorite part of the whole trip. It was clean, well stocked, and Rex and Cay were communicative and helpful with every step along the way. We loved ending our day with a fire in the wood burning fireplace and the kitchen is the perfect place to cook dinner and socialize. My kids loved the availability of games and space to run. They were also a big fan of the tub! 10 out of 10, would love to come back!!

The space was beautiful, plenty of room for four friends. The kitchen was really well stocked and perfect for cooking our dinners. Cay met us on arrival to give us a tour and was so friendly, and even picked some blueberries for us! We did a fabulous hike at Jay Mountain Trail - just 7 minutes from the house to the trailhead. Would love to stay here again.

This was the second time we stayed at Parson Place and the home is beautiful, clean and spacious, providing all the amenities we needed. We used the kitchen and dining room for many family meals and there was no shortage of pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses and utensils. The home was in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go in The Adirondacks, including Whiteface and Lake Placid. The hosts were right next door and were always available if we needed anything. Absolutely no complaints at all!

Parson Place was super roomy, super comfortable and super clean. We were a group of 4 (2 couples). The floorplan is actually really large, so we each had our own space when desired (one person could read at one end of the house without being disturbed by TV watching at the other end of the house.) But we all could hang out comfortably together too by the impressive fireplace. Location was perfect for us. Quiet and wooded but near enough to Lake Placid, hiking and an even we were attending at Mt VanHoevenburg.

My husband and I stayed at this property as a “home base” to explore the Adirondacks. As avid hikers we enjoyed the quick and easy access to several mountain trails. After hiking we looked forward to rest and relaxation - this was the perfect place to unwind. Clean, well stocked and so many little touches made this place feel like a home away from home. This was a wonderful place to stay to enjoy the area around Lake Placid but be far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the quiet beauty as well. Rex and Cay were great hosts. Loved the villages of Keene and Keene Valley. Great proximity to Whiteface Mt area as well.

The house was very spacious. The kitchen cabinets were well stocked with small appliances and pots and pans. The coffee pot, dish washer and refrigerator were in excellent condition. The master bedroom was very comfortable and the connecting bathroom was very clean. The living room had large windows, fire place, large tv and furniture to enjoy your morning coffee. Exceptional home!!! Owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place. Impeccably clean, and our every need was anticipated. The hosts were lovely people. If you like to cook, a very well appointed kitchen. If you want to hike the high peaks, you couldn't find a better location. I would stay here again without hesitation.

My husband & I have been going to Lake Placid for 30 years. This year, our son wanted to ski with two friends and stay near Whiteface. Parson Place is a perfect location for that. Only a 10-minute drive to Whiteface, we were very happy. Not only is Parson Place beautiful, it is impeccably maintained. The fireplace is a work of art. The fully stocked kitchen (minus dill weed) is state of the art. Loved it! The bedrooms, the library... everything was cozy yet very roomy. Cay & Rex are great hosts. They were just a phone call away and very attentive to our needs. Communication was efficient. The Village of Lake Placid is only 20-25 minutes away; stock up on groceries there since there are no major supermarkets near the house. Overall, we highly recommend staying at Parson Place. We really loved it.

What a lovely, clean, filled with everything you need, home! The inside of the home is architecturally beautiful. The fireplace is breathtaking. Everything is spotless and comfortable. You feel like you are in a home that has been loved.The beds and linens are wonderful and perfect for a good night sleep tucked away in nature. This was the 2nd time we stayed here. Since our 1st stay only 3 things have changed1- Elevator is no longer available 2-You can no longer park in the garage 3- Entrance is now around backI was planning on backing into the garage and using the elevator to make it easier to bring in my groceries and luggage. So at 1st I was a bit disappointed. However that quickly changed when the owners took it upon themselves and brought everything into the house for me. This was greatly appreciated since I have limited use of my right arm due to a torn rotator cuff (Which they were unaware of). The house is clean, well taken care of and has absolutely EVERYTHING you need. The yard was perfect for our Easter Egg hunt. We will definitely be back.

Very welcoming and accomodating hosts. We had a very comfortable family ski getaway on the coldest weekend off the year. The fire place was amazing and very cozy!
