Stylish-Vintage Refuge near Massif & MSA with Spa

We had a terrible experience at this rental. We booked one night for a family ski trip at Mont Ste-Anne (2 adults and 3 kids). Check-in wasn’t until 5 PM, so after a long day of skiing, we had dinner before heading to the property.Upon arrival, we were shocked at how dirty the accommodations were. There was visible dust and hair on the floors, hair in the beds, on the shower curtain, and in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was filthy, especially around the toilet. The couch cushions were stained. We even found a cigarette near the hot tub. To top it off, the main light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling, and one bedroom light flickered so badly that we couldn’t use it.Feeling extremely uncomfortable, we contacted the host to complain. While waiting for a response, we used the hot tub, but the promised cleaning crew never arrived. After waiting as long as we could, we decided to leave and find somewhere else to sleep because we simply couldn’t imagine putting our kids to bed in such a dirty and unsafe place.We paid over 400 for a one-night stay during the holidays and we only stayed for about an hour. We were very disappointed and we strongly advise against staying here.

Had a great stay! Some things that could be updated would be the front door lock since it's not as secure as it should. It's just really easy to twist and unlock instead of a real lock. The first bedroom closest to the front door locks you inside because of the doorknob. One side of the grill doesn't work. Overall enjoyed our time here. Would book again if we were ever in the area.

Cottage was a great stay for our family. The hot tub was well maintained. Excellent communication from the owner. Would highly recommend if you plan to ski at either Le Massif or Mont St. Anne.
