HUNDVENNLIG - Mayo Retreat i North Phoenix

Overall stay suited our needs. A few things to note:1) House definitely has fragrances- we are sensitive to those so I re-washed bedding and did a once over of the floor to remove what I assume was swiffer pad buildup. We ran purifiers which helped but I think the scent is just engrained in everything. 2) The water has a smell…we live in the valley and needed a place during renovations. The tap doesn’t usually smell here so we suspect it is a poorly maintained softener or whatever equipment they have in the garage. Washer, dishwasher, shower all have a musty smell with the water on. 3) Washing machine was pretty gnarly so I cleaned that the best I could prior to using. 4) Communication was great until I booked, and then after payment, both messages I sent were never acknowledged. It’s a very simple house with very basic stuff, which fit our needs. We didn’t want a bunch of bells and whistles and decor for our kids to get into. Beds were very comfortable. Backyard is nice. Would probably stay again but I’d arrive before my family to do my own deep cleaning.

When we arrived at the home, it was very dirty air filter return was filthy. I immediately ordered a HEPA filter.After the owner okayed dog on the property, they charged us an extra 275 for pet hair. We left the home cleaner then when we found it and added a coffee pot.
