Crane Cove: 4 bedroom Lake Home on Keuka Lake

This is the second time we have stayed at Crane Cove and, as usual, does not disappoint. The area is beautiful and the house is clean and our teenage grandchildren loved staying overnight in The Nest!

The house is right on the lake but is badly in need of updating and maintenance. The furniture is old and tired and the kitchen equipment is worn out. The best thing about the house is the porch that overlooks the lake. We sat there in the morning drinking coffee and enjoying the view. It was too cold to sit on the dock most of the time due to the wind. Even though we stayed 5 days, we didn't really get to enjoy the lake. One of the kayaks has a broken seat and the canoe was filled with brown sludge so we couldn't use it. The lake water was freezing and the weather was very cool (in the 40's in the morning) so we couldn't swim or paddle board. Ww

Wonderful experience overall but, disappointed about description of slight grade into property which turned out to be 30 steep steps down with just a rope railing! Several individuals have knee issues which made it difficult to traverse the steps🙁

We had a great week on the lake. We enjoyed the porch in the morning sun, the dock and all the water fun, the outside eating area and the fire pit! What a great house to gather in

We had a wonderful time staying at this place. It was great for our family of 5 with teenagers and also two sets of grandparents. Highly recommended with a main floor bedroom and the capability to spread out using the nest. The only recommendation would be to have the capability to be able to dock a boat at the property. We needed to return our boat to a marina. Otherwise it was qn amazing week. An amazing place to stay.
