Finca Canal, Rural Villa in the Comarca de la Sidra

The Villa was as advertised: spacious, well appointed and in a great location, which was very peaceful. Maria and her family were excellent hosts and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. In particular, they were very helpful in making some adaptations so the bedroom was functional for my wife, who is in a wheelchair. The lower floor and main floor (where the disabled bedroom and bathroom are located) were fully accessible with the wheelchair as well as the pool area and garden.Throughout the process, communication with Maria was efficient and speedy, from beginning to end.

Everything was absolutely lovely - the house was spacious, clean, and ideal. The only minor issue (which was somewhat rough coming in from the Americas) was that there was a dog barking and other animals making noise loudly into the night, but there are no fans or A/C, so the windows had to be open. There are no window screens and there were mosquitoes biting us and buzzing our ears... so it was a bit hard to sleep (especially with jet lag). These conditions (no screens/air conditioning) seem quite common through the region and Spain - so no issue at the property, just something to be aware of in trip planning.

Not many 7 bedroom villas are available and this one met all our needs and in a perfect location for exploring Asturias
