The place was perfect and the hosts were amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were good and had good info for us about local attractions.

We had a group of 8 of us staying at this property. The owner met us to check in and answer any questions we had. It was the perfect space for our group! The owner was very easy to work worth. We would recommend this place for sure and we hope to be back soon!

First, I will say the owner met us there and went through the property with us and was quite thorough in doing so and answered any questions I had. It was nice having the water so close and you could walk right in. Also, the kitchen was beautiful, and beds were comfortable. The issues we did have were things were a little run down - for instance the couch was sagging, had a tear, some of the walls needed repainting. My biggest pet peeve was the master bedroom shower it was extremely hard to get into (height) and the glass door broke and a clear curtain was put in its place and the hooks kept flying off. I also thought it was a little weird that there was no soap or shampoo for the showers. The firepit was very small, no wood or chairs around it and the outdoor furniture was way past its expiration date. I had mixed emotions about this rental but for the very expensive cost I would expect exceptional. If I had paid only a few hundred dollars for the rental it would have been fine.

I have been booking through Vrbo for our family vacations for years and I’ve never before experienced the homeowner waiting to walk us around the property. He had concerns about certain lights that needed to be shut off every night, which I understand. The first night we were there one of the lights got turned on that irritated the neighbors, the homeowner proceeded to call me multiple times past 10 PM saying they were threatening to call the police. There’s no cell phone service so I did not get the messages when eventually, I talk to him the next day I apologized and we got the light shut off. The next day he showed up needing to get in the house to take pictures. A few days later, he brought the previous owners to look at the property and walked around for about 45 minutes when you are renting your house as a vacation house and charging as much as they charge, we should be able to have a little privacy in the yard where we’re staying. I don’t feel like the previous homeowner should’ve been allowed to come and hang out on the deck while I’ve rented the house for the week.

We stayed for a short family vacation. The house was just as pictured. Everything we needed was supplied. The kids loved swimming and fishing right were we stayed!
