New home w/ huge pool, 2 min walk to beach!

Our extended family had a wonderful visit. The home easily accommodated the eight of us and the kids loved having a large pool to play in. The walk to the beach was short and easy and extras, like having a beach wagon, chairs, and sand toys was an unexpected delight. Thanks for an amazing stay!

We absolutely LOVED this property. The pictures don’t do it justice. When we walked in we were amazed. Tammy was the perfect host and in contact with us for anything we needed. The welcome basket was a kind and thoughtful touch. The beds were comfortable, the house was impressively clean, the screened porch and pool area was incredible. We are already trying to figure out when we can rebook. Our ages ranged from 3-46 and the walk to and from the beach was just fine. I can’t say enough about this house and our experience. We will be back!

This cottage has everything you could ever need! The pool area and palm trees are just beautiful and relaxing overlooking the marsh. You can even see boats on the ICW. The interior of the house is just perfect. Love the screened porch! And love the storage room with toys and bikes. Tammy let us check in early and was a great communicator! Hope to stay again.

This was our second time staying at this house and it was EVEN BETTER this time around (if that was even possible!). Our first visit was in 2022, but since then, Tammy has updated the living room furniture, added a built-in desk nook, stained the stairs/porch/deck, and kept this beautiful home in immaculate condition. Everything was so clean and inviting. The pool was pristine. Everyone in our family had somewhere to relax (multiple options!) and our favorite time was spent on the screened porch where we watched deer grazing in the march -- and poolside! We can\'t wait to come back "home" to Holden next year - it is a treasure!

We had such a wonderful time. We celebrated a weekend with family and it was so nice. The outdoor pool, the location to the beach, the decks. This house was beautiful and well appointed with nearly every thing that you need. Large generous rooms after the first flight of stairs, alarms and upper lock to help notify you if your child exits (such a relief to have). One master room upstairs on the kitchen and living room level with a deck on either side. Communication with the host was quick and thorough. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We had an amazing stay! The property was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. Between the screened-in porch and beautiful pool deck with perfect lounge furniture, we hardly wanted to leave to make the short walk to the beach. We've already booked for next year!

We had a wonderful family beach vacation. The property was very clean and was everything that it had been advertised to be. The house has a ton of windows making it light and bright. Everything felt very new and updated in the house. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and fed our group of 10 all week. The pool was a big hit and is quite large for a beach house. It was a quick walk to the beach which was convenient. Sheets and linens were provided which was really nice. Communication with Jandy was exceptional. I would definitely stay at Jandy’s house again.

The house is incredibly close to the boardwalk to the beach and easy to access. The property was clean and the hosts responsive. We had a wonderful time and would happily book Gone Coastal again for our next trip to Holden.

Our family came from the mtns to the ocean for our spring break vacation. We paid the extra to heat the pool and that was the best decision ever. Such a quiet neighborhood and the beaches were peaceful and not overcrowded. I’m sure it’s busier in the summer when it’s hot but this was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for all of our kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful and I had no issues cooking during the week. I was thankful for Tupperware and all the dishes we needed for our needs. Jandy was just a message away for any needs and I appreciated her checking in when we arrived. Overall, it was a good trip

This is our second time staying at Tammy's home on the west side of the island. It is perfect for our family and we LOVED all the updates that have been done since our last visit. The house is beautiful, cozy, clean and so well designed on the inside. The additional of the screen porch was perfect! We were able to enjoy on evenings on the porch without the bugbites! The kids loved the pool and the storage even contained fun floaties and sand toys for the beach! I especially enjoyed the bikes for a nice beach cruise. The kitchen comes equipped with anything you need and the rooms are stocked with comfy beds, clean sheets and towels. The house is a short walk to beach access and if you go to the one on the left, its very quiet with tons of space to set up. We got very lucky this week and got to see 2 different turtle nests close and watch the babies make their way to the ocean for the first time. Highly reccommend Tammys cozy home!

Great house and owner. Very easy check and communication. House was very well stocked and the pool is amazing. The beach access was really close and made it easy to get all our beach stuff to the ocean. Good parking for our cars. Would definitely put this in our top beach house rentals!!

Only able to stay a couple of days, but we enjoyed ourselves. Bedding is extremely comfy and overall experience was great. The owner was very helpful when we couldn't get the lock to work and got us inside within a few minutes. The beach was a short walk and the pool was a great addition and used both days by the kids.

The house was extremely accomodating. Jandy was phenomenal communicating with us. always available and answered all our questions. We definitely would love to stay here again.

This was our 1st stay at Holden Beach. It is very family oriented with great ice cream! Check in was easy with a lockbox. Communication with Tammy was great!! We needed a new pool skimmer and one was delivered the same day. The pool and outside furniture was so nice. The black rod iron fence allowed views of the marsh. Other rentals we noticed had solid white fencing which would not allow for a view. We went to the beach around 10am and then cooled off in the pool mid afternoon when the pool had shade. The screened in porch helped with bugs but would recommend bringing bug spray if sitting outside of the porch at night. We ate most of our meals at the house. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything we needed (even had tools to crack our king crabs with). The walk was not far to the beach. The road you cross is not busy on that side of the island but it did seem like some of the cars went more than 35 mph. There is a sidewalk on the main road and that was nice for biking. The pool was cleaned professionally twice the week we were there. Check out was on a Saturday at 10am. We did get caught in traffic trying to leave at that time and go back across the bridge. You may want to try to leave earlier or if there is a different day to arrive and leave other than Saturday that may be even better. We left a couple items behind and Tammy has offered to mail them to us. She was a wonderful hostess and very prompt in communicating with us when we had a question!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It was just as amazing this time as the first time we stayed. Everything you could need plus more is provided. The kids loved all the various toys available to play with both outside of the house and within the house. The owner is so very responsive to any need/issue that may arise during the stay. This will be the first house we look to book when we plan our next trip!

The house was on a quiet, residential, dead end street, which made it perfect for the kids to play outside and ride bikes. The pool was a huge hit. Easy access to the beach, and the wagon with toys provided made it extra easy to lug all of our stuff to and from the beach. One minor repair needed when we arrived and it was tended to very quickly and without issue. We would love to stay here again!
