Once again, the Cabin was excellent! Everything was waiting for us when we arrived. The room was warm and inviting, complete with a lit Christmas tree in the corner. All the needed amenities were clean and ready to use: TV/Satellite, complete kitchen with utensils and dishes, Hot tub (indoor and out), king-size bed, and gas fireplace. Everything was fantastic. For a short stay or an extended vacation, this is a great location. Close enough to other attractions, but far enough away that the hustle and bustle of life is forgotten, even if only for a short while. The view from the deck is spectacular any time of day or night. We watched a thunderstorm roll across the valley and light up the night with lots of lightning and the rain on the metal roof added to the relaxation. This is becoming our "Go To" place for Mountain vacations. We will be back!

The cabin is located near Mentone Brow Park which provides a stunning view at the edge of Lookout Mountain. The cabin was cozy and comfortable for a couple to have a romantic getaway. The back porch offers a private view of the mountains and a hot tub! In the cabin, there is plenty of room for a king bed, small living area, full kitchen, and bath. On the property, there is a fire pit stocked with some wood and nice chairs to enjoy a fire. It was just what we needed to unwind and unplug! Mentone itself is a cute, quaint town with some great restaurants. We highly recommend Elevation Bistro which works with local farms to create their menu. Mentone Market is also a great place to do a little local shopping. My husband and I will definitely be back! Mentone is a hidden gem and this cabin is wonderful!

Our trip was for one night and even though the management did not offer one night stays, they accommodated me. The location was great and Just Bluffin was perfect for the occasion. The hot tub on the back overlooks the valley and was a perfect way to unwind. I would recommend Just Bluffin to anyone that needs to just get away.

My husband and I keep reminiscing of how much we loved our little Just Bluffin’ cabin.❤️We were so comfortable cozy with the gas fire logs, outdoor balcony jacuzzi and beautiful brow view! We will certainly book again! I wish I could post one picture of the AMAZING morning fog covering the entire valley below!

Just Bluffin Cabin was a perfect couples getaway. The back deck with Hot Tub had unbelievable views of the valley below. You could hear the train & watch the sunset over the Mountain across the valley. The weather was hot so we didn't use the fireplace or firepit. The cabin had all the essentials you needed. The bed was comfortable & the cabin was clean. The ceiling fans were perfect for the open beam ceilings. We would definitely stay there again.

The accommodations at Just Bluffing were exactly as advertised. The view was really nice and the surroundings were very relaxing. The cabin was furnished with most anything one would need for a few days stay. The valley below was to the west of the cabin and made for some great sunset pictures. There are other rentals offered by delightful retreats on each side but they are set up in a way that privacy was no issue. Co. Rd. 89 is terrible so plan to drive extremely slow. I did read where Dekalb Co had appropriated funds to resurface sections of the road. So, hopefully the next time we go, it will be better. Overall a great getaway. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was perfect and beyond our expectations. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The view was spectacular with a deck that made it easy to relax, enjoy and just be in the moment. The outdoor hot tub added such a romantic touch with an incredible view of the nighttime skyline. Located within minutes of two fantastic restaurants and great hiking, this cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!

We could not have been more happy with our stay at Just Bluffin'. The cabin is beautiful and was super clean. To us, the most outstanding part of the cabin is the view from the deck. Watching the evening sun "drop" off behind the mountains was the highlight. If you look closely, you can see (but due to distance cannot hear) trains going down the tracks. We highly recommend Just Bluffin'!

The sunsets were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The cabin is rustic yet cozy with all of the creature comforts. We loved morning coffee time on the porch watching the valley below. This was everything we expected and more. We want to come again next fall.

This is about our 6th time to stay at the cabin now named "Just Bluffin". It is just perfect for two people. The view off the deck is spectacular and the cabin is cosy. We love Mentone and always find something new to do each time we visit. We enjoy Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park. We have also taken some side trips to Cloudland State Park in GA and Chattanooga TN. We prefer the mountains over the beach. There are several delicious restaurants in the area including Elevation Bistro, The Hatter and Wildflower Cafe. We also enjoy the grilling on the deck and getting into the hot tub. The cabin includes toiletries and the towels in the bathroom are really nice. Each time we visit, I go ahead and schedule another stay there so I will have it to look forward to. Holly at Delightful Retreats is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Cheers!

We love Just Bluffin' and have stayed here many times. It is just perfect for two people and has a fabulous view. It is close to all the restaurants, shops, and natural resources in or close to Mentone. The only reason I did not give it a five star rating this time is that it was full of ladybugs, but they did warn us about these critters. My husband and I returned for a weekend getaway to just bluffing this past weekend of September 29, 2023. We had previously visited 11 years ago for our honeymoon in 2012 when it was called Little Cupid on the Brow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this weekend as the property was so extremely clean and comfortable we felt right at home. The view from the deck is breathtaking. We spent most of our time awake out there. Also, the train went by both days around 9am, and hearing the train horn resonating in the valley reminded me of a song my Papaw used to sing to me called “Down in the Valley”. There are not many places near where we live with that type of view!! It’s like something from a really good movie that leaves you wanting to watch more. Sitting out on the deck, hearing the sounds of nature, and the wind, whispering through the trees, gave such a deep peace and calm. There just aren’t words to describe the amazing experience we had reminiscing this weekend, in such a special place as this cabin. The customer service was phenomenal too! We hope to be able to visit again soon.

Also, the train went by both days around 9am, and hearing the train horn resonating in the valley reminded me of a song my Papaw used to sing to me called “Down in the Valley”. There are not many places near where we live with that type of view!! It’s like something from a really good movie that leaves you wanting to watch more. Sitting out on the deck, hearing the sounds of nature, and the wind, whispering through the trees, gave such a deep peace and calm. There just aren’t words to describe the amazing experience we had reminiscing this weekend, in such a special place as this cabin. The customer service was phenomenal too! We hope to be able to visit again soon.

This spot was perfect for a quick getaway. Far enough away and yet close enough if we wanted to venture out. A short distance from Ft. Payne, AL. Trenton, GA. and Chattanooga, TN. A fully functional kitchen meant not having to go out for meals. The cabin includes a gas grill, microwave, refrigerator, and stovetop. The view overlooking the valley was spectacular. Sundowns were quite enjoyable from the deck chairs or from the hot tub. Although other cabins were nearby, we never heard anything other than an occasional train down in the valley or a plane passing overhead. Modern convenience in a bluff-side cabin. Excellent amenities and easy check-in and out. Would highly recommend this property to others.

Pros_This cabin is ideal for a couple. Comes with everything you need for a few days stay. Comfortable and cozy with gas fireplace, hot tub, fire pit, fantastic views. Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee pot, utensils, dishes and cookware. We were there early April, Tuesday-Thursday. Unfortunately, this is not the season so many of the restaurants recommended were not open until Thursday-Sunday. We had to go to Ft. Payne for a couple of meals. The Rim of the Canyon restaurant is a must do for Breakfast. Nothing fancy, but great food and an easy drive to Little River Falls. DeSoto State Park and Falls are also very close to cabin. Be sure to bring or buy fire wood for the fire pit and a lighting device. Cons- Last mile or so of road to cabin is awful, full of potholes. Drive slowly.

The cabin is located near Mentone Brow Park which provides a stunning view at the edge of Lookout Mountain. The cabin was cozy and comfortable for a couple to have a romantic getaway. The back porch offers a private view of the mountains and a hot tub! In the cabin, there is plenty of room for a king bed, small living area, full kitchen, and bath. On the property, there is a fire pit stocked with some wood and nice chairs to enjoy a fire. It was just what we needed to unwind and unplug! Mentone itself is a cute, quaint town with some great restaurants. We highly recommend Elevation Bistro which works with local farms to create their menu. Mentone Market is also a great place to do a little local shopping. My husband and I will definitely be back! Mentone is a hidden gem and this cabin is wonderful!

The checkin and checkout process was very easy with great communication. The cabin was stocked and had all essentials needed. The view was amazing! The cabin was cozy and relaxing. It was close to mentone restaurants, shops, and attractions/trails. A very peaceful experience!

My wife and I enjoyed Just Bluffin, finding it clean and comfortable, just as described. Although other cabins were nearby, it was completely private and quiet at all times, allowing us to enjoy coffee, have good conversations, appreciate the morning mist over the valley below, sunsets, and stars. Very nice get-a-way for us. Beware of the tar and gravel main road leading to the cabins, as it has been patched many times and makes for a rough ride. With that said, it would not deter us from returning to Just Bluffin.

We love exploring Mentone and the surrounding area. There are some great restaurants and National and State parks. We like the Farmers Market on Saturday morning and Mentone Market for breakfast biscuits. It is a great, relaxing getaway!

The accommodations at Just Bluffing were exactly as advertised. The view was really nice and the surroundings were very relaxing. The cabin was furnished with most anything one would need for a few days stay. The valley below was to the west of the cabin and made for some great sunset pictures. There are other rentals offered by delightful retreats on each side but they are set up in a way that privacy was no issue. Co. Rd. 89 is terrible so plan to drive extremely slow. I did read where Dekalb Co had appropriated funds to resurface sections of the road. So, hopefully the next time we go, it will be better. Overall a great getaway. Will definitely be back!

We love Mentone and always find something new to do each time we visit. We enjoy Little River Canyon and Desoto State Park. We have also taken some side trips to Cloudland State Park in GA and Chattanooga TN. We prefer the mountains over the beach. There are several delicious restaurants in the area including Elevation Bistro, The Hatter and Wildflower Cafe. We also enjoy the grilling on the deck and getting into the hot tub. The cabin includes toiletries and the towels in the bathroom are really nice. Each time we visit, I go ahead and schedule another stay there so I will have it to look forward to. Holly at Delightful Retreats is a pleasure to work with and very responsive. Cheers!

This is our second time staying here and we have committed to making this a yearly trip. The cabin is perfect for us and our two pups. The views are spectacular and the sounds of the distant train during a glorious sunset are icing on a beautiful cake. The hot tub outside on a private balcony always gives us much needed relaxation. The town has everything you need and everyone is glad to have you. Elevation. Intro for dinner and a wonderful concert at the Charles Sennett Arts Center made this trip even better!

We loved this cabin! It was very well stocked and the bed was comfortable. We picked the cabin for the view, but it was raining or overcast our entire stay. Despite that, we had a great time. I highly recommend this place, and also Moon Lake Kitchen - we had a wonderful dinner there during our stay.

Our stay was perfect and beyond our expectations. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The view was spectacular with a deck that made it easy to relax, enjoy and just be in the moment. The outdoor hot tub added such a romantic touch with an incredible view of the nighttime skyline. Located within minutes of two fantastic restaurants and great hiking, this cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely breathtaking view!!! The backporch is where we spent most of our time chilling in the hottub at night drinking coffee during the day. It was the perfect amount of space for a needed recharge. The bed is amazingly comfortable which is always a plus. Perfect getaway!!!
