The Owner thought of everything when they updated and stocked this beautiful cabin! The attention to detail and comfort is outstanding. The fit and fiinshes are top quality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We spent our mornings having coffee on the front porch swing, overlooking the meticulously maintained grounds. This home is a top-notch, quiet and comfortable place to relax away from the daily hustle and bustle. The first night we pulled in there was a big deer in the yard. We also heard lots of birds and a wild turkey. We look forward to coming back again!

Although the pics for the listing showed a very pretty property, from the moment we arrived it was clear this was a very special place. Such attention to detail and oh so charming. Very spacious and clean. We took advantage of the cool fall evening and wood provided for the fire pit and were treated to an expansive star filled sky. My only regret is we were just passing through on our way to the east coast. Next time we'll make a point to extend our stay at this lovely home.

The cabin was so cute and so clean. It was comfortable and so inviting. The game room was a sweet touch. My boyfriend and I played a game of Scrabble. I won! Which never happens! Haha! We will likely be staying here again! Thank you!

What a welcoming, comfortable cabin! We were rather busy and did not have much free time to really enjoy everything the cabin had to offer. We enjoyed a little time sitting on the back porch listening to the creek. We only cooked a couple meals, the kitchen had everything we needed. A very quiet peaceful setting. Loved listening to the rain on the tin roof!

We had a lovely time in this idyllic spot! We only wished we'd had slightly warmer and drier weather to enjoy the outdoors more. We did get one night to light up the fire pit. Plenty to do within an hour's drive, in several directions. Come stay, you won't regret it!!

We really enjoyed our stay at your cozy and lovely home. It offered privacy and ambience for the perfect weekend getaway. The updated kitchen and bathroom were well appointed and the outdoor area with fire pit and covered porches oozed rustic coziness. We definitely would stay here again when available.

Very, very clean. Nicely decorated. Provides all of the necessities. Recently remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. I can't say enough about how much thought the owners put into this nice log cabin. I would guess the cabin is about 100 years old but nicely remodeled and kept up well. Nice location on a low traffic road. Relatively remote from neighbors. You know they are there but don't see them. I highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a place in this area.

This cabin is nothing but cozy and charming. Super clean and the kitchen has everything you need, other than butter/oil, and other seasonings. Beds are comfy and the grounds are gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back and get snowed in again!

This was an amazing, immaculate cabin! Everything was so clean and orderly. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was just so “homey”. It was a great home away from home! So close to the Flight 93 National Memorial. Would definitely stay here again!

Our New Year's weekend stay was the perfect way to recharge our batteries after Christmas and to begin 2023. The cabin is exactly as pictured. Recently updated with basically a new kitchen and baths; new appliances, dishware, linens, light fixtures, and more. But it still retains a rustic, cozy, down home charm. And - it is immaculate. It's within a 20(ish) minute drive of either Ligonier or Johnstown for a grocery run and there are also a number of great antique shops in the area. Thank you for sharing your lovely property with us. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Our goal was snowshoeing and snow hiking. The location offered us access to many different options. After a full day of exercise, the cabin was a perfect place to relax. I will join the chorus of folks naming this cabin their favorite Vrbo ever. There is something about this space that instantly lifts your spirits; it feels just like home as soon as you walk in the door. The cabin has incredible bones and is so beautifully maintained, but the furnishings and details lift it to another level. So much consideration and care was clearly put into making the space comfortable, cozy, and—above all—welcoming. After four nights I was genuinely sad to leave! The location is convenient to so many beautiful trails as well as Ligonier, several Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and all the things that make central PA fun to explore, but you could honestly make a whole trip out of enjoying this home. We’re already looking at dates for another visit so we can take full advantage of the beautiful porches and see some of the trails in full leaf.

We chose this property due to its proximity to Laurel Mountain and Hidden Valley. It did not disappoint!!! First, the location was perfect. Second, upon entering the cabin what a lovely surprise! The online photos do not due this property justice. It is absolutely lovely, charming and so tastefully decorated. We loved being able to gather in front of the fireplace and share our ski stories from the day. While perfect for the winter we can’t wait to come back in the warm weather and enjoy the porches. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property!!!

This was the most peaceful, modern home while maintaining the authentic characteristics of the home, and relaxing place! I truly hated to leave and most definitely will be back on my next visit with family in PA. I saw deer on their morning stroll almost every morning crossing the front yard as I sat on the front porch enjoying the serenade of the many birds while drinking my coffee. I went for a morning walk each day and never saw another person and only a few cars each day. So PEACEFUL!

The Cabin was perfect for two couples. It is comfortable, very clean and has everything you could possibly need. We had an issue with the internet, the owner was very responsive and helped us get the issue resolved. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay there again.

This cabin is beautiful! It was so clean and it’s obvious the owner didn’t spare any expense in outfitting the place. Everything was top notch and beautiful. Kitchen is stocked with anything you could want or need for cooking, including various wine glasses, etc. Very quiet, peaceful property. Perfect location if you’re looking for a few days to escape the world.

This cabin was the perfect place for a little couples R & R! We stayed 2 nights over Valentine's Day weekend and even in the cold and snow the creek was bubbling happily. I would love to see this space in the spring/summer to get a real feel for the property! We battled snow and freezing rain on Saturday to go antiquing (thank you to Laura for leaving a snow shovel on the front porch). Made a few purchase and enjoyed apple dumplings from The Pie Shoppe. Highly recommended for peace and quite with your significant other.

Wonderful location, thoughtfully appointed. Lovely, pleasant ambiance - wish the weather had cooperated to enjoy the special outside spaces more, though. Our host was a patient and thorough communicator, who managed all of our expectations. We had originally planned to come and ski, but needed to change our schedule due to an injury. It's somewhat "off the beaten path" (and we wound up visiting multiple Frank Lloyd Wright properties in the area, and near Ohiopyle) but the cabin is "worth the journey", as they used to say in the Michelin guides! Highly recommend it, if you are looking for peace and quiet!

It's somewhat "off the beaten path" (and we wound up visiting multiple Frank Lloyd Wright properties in the area, and near Ohiopyle) but the cabin is "worth the journey", as they used to say in the Michelin guides! Highly recommend it, if you are looking for peace and quiet!

This cabin is cozy and clean. It is the perfect mix of old and new. This log cabin has been beautifully updated while keeping the charm of the original cabin. The hosts have thought of everything from the blanket on the front porch swing to the albums for the record player. The game room is stocked with cards, games and a dart board. The location is secluded and peaceful. Perfect getaway!

The Cabin was perfect for two couples. It is comfortable, very clean and has everything you could possibly need. We had an issue with the internet, the owner was very responsive and helped us get the issue resolved. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay there again.

Me and two friends set out for a whirlwind tour of Rachel Sager's Ruins Project, an outdoor museum and Falling Water. One travel day and one day to tour and drive back 5+hours. We wish we had more time to stay at the log cabin. We did manage to arrive little early, go to town for a wonderful dinner and come back to enjoy a fire outside into the evening. We wished we had more time to hike the trails. I had issues with getting into Vbro to contact the owner. Not sure it was Vbro or me. Vbro sent a six digit access code. With persistence I got through and the owner was very responsive. The owner then sent me a 4 digit code which worked. The log cabin was peaceful, clean and comfortable with a lot of updated charm. We would all love to return!

Very, very clean. Nicely decorated. Provides all of the necessities. Recently remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. I can't say enough about how much thought the owners put into this nice log cabin. I would guess the cabin is about 100 years old but nicely remodeled and kept up well. Nice location on a low traffic road. Relatively remote from neighbors. You know they are there but don't see them. I highly recommend this cabin if you're looking for a place in this area.

Our goal was snowshoeing and snow hiking. The location offered us access to many different options. After a full day of exercise, the cabin was a perfect place to relax. The outdoor porches were great spots to sit and reflect on the day. The decor was interesting and beautiful. Cleanliness was top notch. Beds were super comfortable. Host was very responsive.

I will join the chorus of folks naming this cabin their favorite Vrbo ever. There is something about this space that instantly lifts your spirits; it feels just like home as soon as you walk in the door. The cabin has incredible bones and is so beautifully maintained, but the furnishings and details lift it to another level. So much consideration and care was clearly put into making the space comfortable, cozy, and—above all—welcoming. After four nights I was genuinely sad to leave! The location is convenient to so many beautiful trails as well as Ligonier, several Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and all the things that make central PA fun to explore, but you could honestly make a whole trip out of enjoying this home. We’re already looking at dates for another visit so we can take full advantage of the beautiful porches and see some of the trails in full leaf.

We chose this property due to its proximity to Laurel Mountain and Hidden Valley. It did not disappoint!!! First, the location was perfect. Second, upon entering the cabin what a lovely surprise! The online photos do not due this property justice. It is absolutely lovely, charming and so tastefully decorated. We loved being able to gather in front of the fireplace and share our ski stories from the day. While perfect for the winter we can’t wait to come back in the warm weather and enjoy the porches. Thank you for sharing your wonderful property!!!

This was an amazing, immaculate cabin! Everything was so clean and orderly. The beds were very comfortable and the cabin was just so “homey”. It was a great home away from home! So close to the Flight 93 National Memorial. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely loved this cabin!!! Sparkling clean, plenty of fresh towels and paper products, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. Above all an extremely pleasant outdoor space! Location is superb for enjoying the Laurel Highlands. Would definitely stay here again. Such a beautiful place and pleasant environment

We had a lovely time in this idyllic spot! We only wished we'd had slightly warmer and drier weather to enjoy the outdoors more. We did get one night to light up the fire pit. Plenty to do within an hour's drive, in several directions. Come stay, you won't regret it!!

The easy part was the cabin was as described. What we enjoyed most was the privacy. That was awesome, peaceful and "homey". We definitely will consider this property the next time we go to Pennsylvania. Also, the contact with the host was "spot on" and greatly appreciated!

So nice! Beautiful, spacious and so clean! We were so impressed with this house. The pictures don't even do it justice. The upstairs bathroom is nice and big. Actually, all the rooms are bigger than i would have expected from looking at the outside. We were only in town for a night but would have loved to stay longer. I would 100% recommend this cabin to friends or family. If we're ever back in the area, we hope to stay here again.
