The house inside was totally updated with lots of parking in front of the house. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. John our host stopped by to make sure everything was ok. The home was open concept which was great for our Christmas Day family gathering.

Our stay was very nice. The house is spacious with ample parking. John, the owner, was also a very good communicator and fixed issues we had (not enough towels and a broken bed frame) quickly and promptly. The house is also right next to the highway, which is of course noisy. There are nice amenities but the furniture was cheap. The living room furniture was uncomfortable but the beds were comfy. The hooks shower curtain the bathroom with the tub were cheap and didn’t ride along the shower curtain rod correctly, so it was difficult to open and close the curtain. Also, we had to come back after we initially left, to look for a lost toy of my daughters and I noticed the comforter from our bed (the second bedroom) was not being cleaned along with the rest of the sheets. Maybe they were waiting to throw it into the washer after the sheets were cleaned first? But it was still a bit unnerving to see that because I know the house had guests in it just before us. Finally, the entire house had air fresheners, in every room and they were frankly overpowering, making the air in the house heavy and not-fresh. We had to open windows to air out the house. Otherwise, it was a nice stay for the price. I don’t think we’ll stay here again, though.

While the location of the property was convenient and pleasant, several issues made our stay disappointing. Upon arrival, we were concerned to find the back door unlocked and many windows unsecured. Additionally, we discovered that both this property and another nearby shared the same door code, which raised safety concerns.Cleanliness was below expectations. There was animal hair on the couches and beds, and the air fresheners—five in the main living area—were overpowering, seemingly used to mask odors rather than address the root cause. The dishwasher was also full of dishes when we arrived, which added to the overall feeling that the home had not been properly prepared for guests. This property has potential, but better attention to security, cleanliness, and guest readiness is needed.
