We were visiting family in nearby Brandon. The space was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was set up with breakfast items and fridge had eggs, bread, milk, water, and basic condiments. The piano was a treat and allowed me to work on some preparation for a concert in the coming week. David is a very attentive host and the story behind the place is fascinating.

This was my first experience with Vrbo. It was wonderful. Checking in and out of the property was simple! My fiancé and I were seeking a Christmas getaway in Vermont. We certainly found it! The property is in close distance to Brandon and Middlebury. Both towns have lots of dining options and shopping. We visited a brewery and winery. Our cottage in Leicester was pristine. Our host, David. was accommodating and friendly. The cottage is well built and you can see how much work David has put into it. The area is very quiet. Quite a change from NYC! If you have a sports fanatic with you, however, I’d suggest bringing an iPad so certain games can be accessed. David does provide a television and DVDS with a large selection of movies. There is no cable, but the internet is just fine. Thank you for your hospitality. David. We enjoyed our stay in Vermont.

Lovely a place to stay. Quiet and convenient for our weekend. Air conditioner kept bedroom cool but with the hot weekend it struggled in the lower floors to keep comfortable. But never bad. No TV, and slow internet so we used our free time to explore the area. Plan ahead if that would be a concern. But would definitely stay again.

This home was several cuts above places we had stayed recently. The only issues were lack of a reliable internet connection, and inadequate lighting. We were there during an intense rain storm, which made the skies unusually dark, but the lack of light inside was challenging. The DVD collection left something to be desired. Some of the titles did not match the packaging. It would not have mattered accept for the lack of internet access, and that the storms kept us housebound. David was very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here again. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the place also has a washer/dryer. There are many sitting areas where one can just relax and view the beautiful and interesting artwork throughout the cabin. The property owner is great and made sure our stay went smoothly. We had a great stay here for our snowboarding trip! Far enough away from the main Killington area without being too far away. Property manager was awesome and HIGHLY recommend the massage therapy that is offered as well. Very quiet, clean and lovely place to stay. We'll be back for sure.

Our stay at Camp Tiger Ted was so wonderful. The amount of detail and care David put into building and now maintaining the property is second to none. The house was meticulously clean and had so many charming details. David also gave us both massages in his in home studio which waA the most relaxing way to end our stay!

I didn't want to leave! Beautiful place with such a rich history. I loved waking up on Saturday morning to play the grand piano. Forgot how much I loved it. Very clean and David made the process as smooth as possible. Our only complaint was the bed needs an update, sinks to the middle. Thank you David!

David Allan was a great communicator and took very good care that our stay was everything we needed. The house was beautiful, original/handcrafted, and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and we felt very safe and cozy. The location is great, Middlebury is a very cool town and very close to this location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Five plus stars.

Loved this place from the moment I walked into it and kept finding more to love the longer I looked. Full of unique architectural and artistic interest. We enjoyed looking through the photo album and reading about its construction. It’s tucked away and private, but not far from everything either. The piano was in tune and I loved playing on a grand for the first time in years.

The attention to detail was noted from the start with the extras thatDavid provides fro his guests. So clean and so comfortable. My husband and I couldn't have been happier at Camp Tiger Ted. Our host was wonderful in every way, welcoming and responsive to us, clear about caring for his beautiful property, and helpful whenever we reached out. It was a bonus to have the lovely piano, which I took advantage of on several occasions. We visit this area of Vermont often and we certainly will consider staying again, and we've already recommended it to others!Thank you, David, for such a delightful visit.

David's place exceeded my expectations! Very smart design and layout. Quality craftmanship and attention to detail. Super clean. I wish my daughter and i could have stayed longer! Close enough to Middlebury College for this to be a great option for 2 people. David was very nice to stop by to introduce himself and see if we needed anything. Clean space, helpful instructions, great lighting. Communication with the property owner was great; David was responsive and helpful. Kitchen was well equipped & the bed was warm! We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the property. Enjoyed talking with David. The property is really attractive and comfortable. One comment: The signage is hard to see from the road, which is a highway. I don't know what more could be done, but something that gives a heads-up would help to prevent driving past the driveway and having to turnaround.

The cottage was wonderful -- clean, well-stocked and in a great location -- easy trip to Middlebury and the Rikert Outdoor Center. The host left great instructions and nice touches. I would highly recommend it!

David Allan was a great communicator and took very good care that our stay was everything we needed. The house was beautiful, original/handcrafted, and very clean. Everything we needed was provided and we felt very safe and cozy. The location is great, Middlebury is a very cool town and very close to this location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Five plus stars.

We attended a wedding in Goshen. It was a ten minute drive. It worked out perfectly. The home is very clean and comfortable! The host even turned the porch light on for us for our late night return.

This was my first experience with Vrbo. It was wonderful. Checking in and out of the property was simple! My fiancé and I were seeking a Christmas getaway in Vermont. We certainly found it! The property is in close distance to Brandon and Middlebury. Both towns have lots of dining options and shopping. We visited a brewery and winery. Our cottage in Leicester was pristine. Our host, David. was accommodating and friendly. The cottage is well built and you can see how much work David has put into it. The area is very quiet. Quite a change from NYC! If you have a sports fanatic with you, however, I’d suggest bringing an iPad so certain games can be accessed. David does provide a television and DVDS with a large selection of movies. There is no cable, but the internet is just fine. Thank you for your hospitality. David. We enjoyed our stay in Vermont.

Lovely home. Very nicely stocked refrigerator, breakfast items, fruit, etc. Set off from Rt 7 but if you are looking for total solitude you will hear the traffic. I would highly recommend as David Allen was a generous host.

The place is spotless and very well equipped. The host David was very helpful with ideas for dinner etc. And was very thoughtful with items he left for guests in the kitchen. It is a very relaxing setting with a lovely deck for taking in the outdoors and listening to the birds. The location is perfect for an easy drive to either Brandon or Middlebury - both lovely towns. The only drawback is the bed upstairs can only be exited from one side which can be difficult if people need to get up during the night.

We were visiting family in nearby Brandon. The space was perfect for our needs. Kitchen was set up with breakfast items and fridge had eggs, bread, milk, water, and basic condiments. The piano was a treat and allowed me to work on some preparation for a concert in the coming week. David is a very attentive host and the story behind the place is fascinating.

This was such a great place to stay. So unique and inviting. We actually cooked a lot here instead of going out to eat because it was so relaxing and such a romantic setting. It was one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. Can't say enough positive things about this place.

We loved the cabin, which has a very personal touch. We loved the chats with David and his personal stories. We loved to sit outside and have breakfast (partly with things that David provided). We also enjoyed the outstanding quality of the woodwork and the love to every detail. This is an absolute recommendation for a stay in Vermont.
