Everything you need for a comfortable stay, plenty of space and lots of amenities. Off street parking is great. When I arrived, there were cars already filling the entire driveway (due to a misunderstanding with other renters) and a text to the owners was answered promptly and the issue resolved within a few minutes. Very much appreciated the quick communication and would completely recommend this lovely property.

Very nice upstairs apartment. The bed was comfy, laundry was nice, loved the fireplace.Hallowell is a sweet little town with a lot of history. Loved the little seating area right along the river. Burano's Wood-fired Pizzaria had the best pizzas ever.Would definitely like to come back.

Beautifully renovated/decorated upstairs apartment. Convenient off-street parking. Clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for one or two people. Just one block off Water street with the cute shops, restaurants, and next to the river. Looking forward to my next visit!!

Loved the apartment and its location. The only improvements it needs is a firm bed and level floors. Although neither would prevent us from making a return visit. The amenities were superb, so many things provided. And the deck outside too, that was a bonus we didn’t expect!

The place is lovely and full of everything to make one feel cared for. We especially enjoyed the deck off the kitchen. The location is great with a delightful walk to wonderful restaurants--steps from the river. Top notch in every way in my view.

The place was spotless, and whatever cleaning product used did not have any floral, perfume smell which I appreciate given my sensitivity to many odors. Our 6 year old grand-daughter stayed for one night and was quite comfortable and safe. I would not recommend this space for children younger than 5. Many things to do in town which is one-two blocks away, stores, bakery, music venues, quick food to finer dining. However our favorite, was sitting in Granite Park on one of the many Adirondack colorful chairs and watching the Sturgeon fish jump our of the water. A hike in Vaughn woods, maybe 1/2 mile away was also a treat. The process of checking in and contact was excellent as were the overall accommodations for relaxing on the back deck or having breakfast. The extra touches were sweet, however I'd rethink the bottle of wine. Already, want to come back, thank you hosts for making this a pleasant stay. The parking was absolutely fine, and convenient to loading and unloading the car.

However, there is one problem. You need to do something with the parking area. That driveway is a mess! You get in your car and it’s muddy. You get out and it is muddy. You need to build it up with stabilized gravel or stone.

It was great except the experience with customer support he didn't even tell me that details adress was going to be sent to me and a bulb out over table, the min I opened back door the shade fell down, but other than that beautiful place

Very homely with an authentic vibe. Ideally located in a nice town location. Great for travelling in Maine. If I was being picky then attention to the cleaning regime would be recommended, kitchen cupboard doors, kettle were a little greasy. Also information regarding trash would be helpful. Clear signage to ensure that guests staying in the ground floor property did not try to access this unit is required. All in all a great place to stay and would happily return.

We loved our stay, it was all we could have asked for and more! The house had everything you will need and was well kept and very clean. It also was a short walk to the restaurants and cafes in town. It was perfect and hope to be back again next year!

The place was spotless, and whatever cleaning product used did not have any floral, perfume smell which I appreciate given my sensitivity to many odors. Our 6 year old grand-daughter stayed for one night and was quite comfortable and safe. I would not recommend this space for children younger than 5. Many things to do in town which is one-two blocks away, stores, bakery, music venues, quick food to finer dining. However our favorite, was sitting in Granite Park on one of the many Adirondack colorful chairs and watching the Sturgeon fish jump our of the water. A hike in Vaughn woods, maybe 1/2 mile away was also a treat. The process of checking in and contact was excellent as were the overall accommodations for relaxing on the back deck or having breakfast. The extra touches were sweet, however I'd rethink the bottle of wine. Already, want to come back, thank you hosts for making this a pleasant stay. We rented this lovely apartment for two weeks and it worked perfectly for us. You're just one block from stores to browse, yummy restaurants and a good (too good!) bakery. Strong wifi made it easy to work remotely. We happily made great use of the nearby bike/walking trail. Thank you, Pam!

This was the absolute best place to stay during our trip to Maine! I'd read all the reviews and it seemed too good to be true, but this was a charming apartment in a charming area. Each day we walked to the bakery for coffee and food. Each night we walked to a different restaurant and sat outside on the river. The fresh eggs, milk and wine in the fridge were so generous. The towels were soft. The spaces are roomy. The air conditioning was great! We are so happy that we have already booked another weekend in a couple months.

We HIGHLY recommend this high end vrbo!! Great communication with the owners and easy to find. It was everything we hoped it would be! It was was super clean & super charming - including an elevated deck with 4 chairs & a table. Easy walking distance to the hip, quaint, historic town of Hallowell. One of our favorite discoveries on our trip to Maine!! (Be sure and get an ice cream cone from the downtown shop and eat it sitting along the river park!) We would definitely stay there again and visit Hallowell again!

Pam had everything we could have possibly needed and then some! I was in town for UMA graduation and couldn't have been more pleased with the property. We walked around town, shopped, ate, and met some incredible people. I highly recommend Pam's place!!

The title pretty much says it all. The apartment is nice and clean, in a great location and host was responsive. Parents with toddlers should bring a safety gate to block the stairs as they are conveniently located in the center of the apartment,

Beautifully renovated/decorated upstairs apartment. Convenient off-street parking. Clean, comfortable place with plenty of room for one or two people. Just one block off Water street with the cute shops, restaurants, and next to the river. Looking forward to my next visit!!

We loved our stay in Hallowell! Convenient location, away from the main drag. Easy to go visit family and friends in other towns. Spacious enough to have our friends come over after dinner out to continue fellowship.

We rented this lovely apartment for two weeks and it worked perfectly for us. You're just one block from stores to browse, yummy restaurants and a good (too good!) bakery. Strong wifi made it easy to work remotely. We happily made great use of the nearby bike/walking trail. Thank you, Pam!

The property was as described and exactly what we needed. Downtown was a block away. Several restaurants and shops. We are originally from the area and selected this location because it was near downtown and central to places in Augusta and Gardiner that we wanted to visit. The house is a wonderfully updated old home.

The place is lovely and full of everything to make one feel cared for. We especially enjoyed the deck off the kitchen. The location is great with a delightful walk to wonderful restaurants--steps from the river. Top notch in every way in my view.

Exactly as described - beautiful apartment, in excellent location is pretty Hallowell, one black off the main commercial street.To top it all off, there was a pint of whole milk in the fridge - I used that for my coffee - great!!! (I don't like artificial coffee whitener') so this was an unexpected treat. There was also a bottle of wine in the fridge (I did not use or take) - I don't know if that was left by a previous visitor or by the owner.

This was such a peaceful and beautiful retreat. There were so many comforts included in our stay- the kitchen was stocked perfectly to support a simple meal, beverages were available, and the bathroom had everything you need. This was the absolute best place to stay during our trip to Maine! I'd read all the reviews and it seemed too good to be true, but this was a charming apartment in a charming area. Each day we walked to the bakery for coffee and food. Each night we walked to a different restaurant and sat outside on the river. The fresh eggs, milk and wine in the fridge were so generous. The towels were soft. The spaces are roomy. The air conditioning was great! We are so happy that we have already booked another weekend in a couple months.

Pam had everything we could have possibly needed and then some! I was in town for UMA graduation and couldn't have been more pleased with the property. We walked around town, shopped, ate, and met some incredible people. I highly recommend Pam's place!!

Great location. The deck out back allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Having a washer/dryer in the unit was a huge help. It was clean and had plenty of room for the two of us. We would stay here again.

The place is so very clean and very well furnished. The location is perfect. Quick walk to the stores and restaurants. It has everything you need to cook there. The host gets right back to you if there is anything you need or have any questions. So comfortable the furniture and the bed was great for a good night sleep. It’s very quiet. We loved it and will be back again for sure.
