From start to finish, we had a great time. Robert is a great host and as responsive to any questions we had. The cabin was an adorable, river front, place to just relax and unwind! We are already planning our next getaway! Thank you for having a place we could take our two large breed dogs were we all could just be ourselves!

The cabin was clean and cozy. Our dogs were right at home and loved exploring the woods across the road. Robert was very quick with all communication and of course the hot tub was a much needed added bonus. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and quiet A-frame cabin. The river was clear and clean, perfect for tubing or kayaking, and made for such a relaxing experience. We saw plenty of birds and deer during our stay giving it the up-north feel. The check-in process was very easy, and the owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin was listed for sleeping 10, but might feel a little tight for that many - our group of 6 was very comfortable. There's a nice grill and fire pit area for evenings outdoors. The yard is large with mature trees that provide plenty of shade, and loved that it's pet friendly! The path down to the river is a little steep, so it might be tricky for little ones or those with mobility issues. I would recommend bringing a table and chairs to put on the back porch, so you have a spot to eat meals or play games outside. There is also a nice beach area a little over a mile from the cabin, Crawford Park. You need a recreation passport to park there, but can tube or kayak to it. The trip was about 35 minutes on a kayak and about 50 minutes for a tube. It is a nice area for little ones to enjoy the river without all the large rocks or debris. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing getaway spot!

Overall, we had a good time. The owner Robert was excellent at communicating with us and answering any questions before we even got to the property, which was nice. The refrigerator/freezer is huge, and held everything we needed for the weekend. We loved the fire pit, the view and relaxing nature sounds were amazing morning to night. My nephew caught two fish as big as his forearm right off the dock! If you’re looking to make a pot of coffee or open a bottle of wine and check out from city life, this is a very good place to do so.
