Overall, the cabin is just a 10, just as described. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and everything was in good working order. There is a really great fire pit area that is a little walk down a small hill which was great for privacy. The hot tub was a relaxing break. We really did LOVE it and had an amazing time. The only reason I gave a 4 for the overall rating was that about 2 hrs into the stay some folks showed up to cut the grass and care for the lawn. Some might not care about that but we go to the woods for peace and quiet and that was a huge interruption. The owners were responsive and respected our desire for privacy and apologized though. Maybe plan those things during certain hrs or before or after someone leaves. our ONLY gripe. Other than that- it was fantastic.

We had a quick family visit planned, and this property was perfect for my daughter, sister and myself. Plenty of room for the 3 of us, and the hot tub was great in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking evening meals. I saw a lot of comments about the WiFi, which we hadn’t noticed until close to our trip, but for those who have AT&T, you have good coverage at the property. We never had any issues, but we all had AT&T. Super clean, beautiful property, and very close to Ohiopyle. We will definitely stay here when visiting family in the area in the future.

Cabin was nice and secluded. Hot tub could’ve used a cleaning. There was a yellowjackets nest under the ladder on the retaining wall, that my daughter unfortunately found the hard way.

This was an incredible property!! Squeaky clean and brand new car smell! (However, some of us in the group had difficulty with the strong smell in the downstairs bedroom). The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking and white-water rafting, and the beds were VERY comfortable. Our only “wish” would be that there wouldn’t be a price attached to the Wi-Fi. We apparently paid $75 for 12 GB of connection, but most people (especially over 70) don’t know what that translates into. More times than not, the wifi didn’t work, and cell service was extremely poor or non existent. We loved sitting on the front porch listening to the Pennsylvania migrating bird songs. The great room was super cozy and everything was easily accessible and well-appointed.

The hot tub was filthy when we arrived & we were unable to reach the property mgr until the next day due to poor cell phone reception. But he came quickly to clean it once we were able to contact him. Everything else was great.

Great cabin for a summer week if acivity in the Ohiopyle, PA, area. We came, we saw, we rafted, caved, biked, hiked, ate ice cream, imbibed Wrightness, we conquered. The house is great! Very clean, everything you need. Very close to Ohiopyle which is where we spend most of our time. This was our second stay and we’ll definintly stay again! If I could change anything it would be the expense for internet access- it’s very expensive and feels like it’s something that should be standard.

Upon stepping foot into this cabin we were enamored by the decor and layout of this sweet little space. My family of 6 slept comfortably and the cabin had all the necessities. Only complaints that I have are that there is an extra charge for over 4 guests, when the cabin sleeps 6. Then there are only 4 Adirondack chairs around the fire and towels for the hottub. Also, the Wi-Fi that you have to pay extra for is terrible. We only had service for the first evening.

The property was excellent. Private and clean. Everything we could have wanted. Air conditioning at night downstairs for the master bedroom could’ve been cooler; but not enough to be a breaking point. The owner was very understanding. I know when I booked in January I booked with two dogs. Made sure to have a pet friendly cabin. But the day before check-in the confirmation emailed to me had the pets left off. I waited to get there to see if it was a mistake. When the owner messaged me I paid the fee instantly. My daughter and I very much loved location; layout of cabin and privacy.

Loved the house. Appreciate the effort to make this great for families - including hottub towels, lots of kitchen supplies. One challenge was the google maps sent me the long way around on a long gravel road. The last day we discovered the shorter route. It would help if you note Dunbar as the better/shorter route. Thanks!

Last minute trip to get away for some weekend fun. Weather was cold and rainy, and I spent an evening in the hospital after getting knocked out whitewater rafting. Not my idea of fun. However, the cabin, ambience, hospitality, and friendly community made this one of my favorites of all time. My bird dogs also had the time of their lives!!!

Everything was meticulous and cabin was very comfortable in every way! Consideration was given to alll the details that make a vacation rental excellent! We are 5 senior adults and all of us enjoyed our stay in this lovely private and quiet retreat!

Loved the house. Appreciate the effort to make this great for families - including hottub towels, lots of kitchen supplies. One challenge was the google maps sent me the long way around on a long gravel road. The last day we discovered the shorter route. It would help if you note Dunbar as the better/shorter route. Thanks!

This gem was tucked away in Ohiopyle, and minutes away from Kentuck Knob, Falling Waters, the Greater Allegheny Passage and Wilderness Voyagers (whitewater rafting trip). It wasn’t difficult to find if you follow their direction. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin in the Laurel highlands. Lovely, Private property with fire pit, plenty of wildlife and a beautiful view of the stars. Only 12 minutes to Ohiopyle.

Super cozy cabin, very clean! Lacked little things like Kleenex and hand soap in both bathrooms but we made do with the kitchen soap. Otherwise everything was provided and great!! Nice little touches were the Nespresso coffee and Christmas tree. Kids had fun playing in the creek. We had such a nice and relaxing time, we would definitely return!
