My yearly extended family get together was very enjoyable at this beautiful property. The swimming pond was most appreciated in the summer heat and the water temp was perfect, not too warm nor cold. The kitchen is well stocked, the outdoor bar / grill with direct TV and fire pit was a great gathering spot. The location is a little remote, but still an easy drive to Serpent Mound, hiking, breweries, wineries, Portsmouth Murals, and the world's largest horseshoe crab in Hillsboro!

This home is awesome! Definitely set up for large groups. We had 21 and had plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the treehouse and game room. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Two refrigerators were nice. Don’t bother to bring spices, shampoo or hand soap - it’s all there. Must be more than 30 spices. If your group wants to hang out, this is the place.

This beautiful property was perfect for our family of 17 to meet together from points east and west. Sharon is a wonderful host, responding quickly to our questions and needs. The huge indoor kitchen was well-equipped to cook full meals for a big group. Two full-sized refrigerators were a big plus! We also enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and fire pit. The game room, pond, boats, playhouse, and room to run were all hits with the children! So clean and well-maintained!

We had 27 people stay and there was plenty of room! We enjoyed the outdoor patio with grill and deep fryer, the pool tables and Wii inside and the children spent hours swimming in the pond. The canoe and pedal boat were an added bonus and made for some adult entertainment as well! Sharon was super easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed!

This very quiet and peaceful country house was very well supplied w/all necessary products to make a pleasurable stay. The canoe, paddle boat and basketball hoop made for great outdoor recreation. Toys were also nice in keeping our young ones occupied. Quite outstanding and highly recommend for a large group gathering.

We loved the property and the house! The outside patio/kitchen area is so neat and an inviting place to relax and hang out! The outdoor and indoor games provided a variety of fun for the whole family! The side driveway was perfect place to chalk out a pickleball court! Sharon is easy to contact and is very accommodating!

This property was absolutely perfect for our large family! There was plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed for making meals. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper and full-size toiletries, which is not something we had experienced in other homes. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor grilling area/fire pit/patio was so wonderful for corn hole (provided), as well as meals and evening fires. There really was something for everyone! Dan and Sharon have set up a full wall of cabinets with toddler toys; outdoors there is a swing set and playhouse, the pond with paddle boat and canoe, large yard for group games (or water balloon throwing), along with the large patio area previously mentioned. Check-in was very easy. Dan and Sharon are gracious hosts,and very responsive to questions/needs. They checked with us to see if we needed more wood for the firepit before we had even asked. They told us that they are continuing to add additional amenities and upgrades to the property, although it was already perfect for our family! It was unanimous in our family that we will be back again for our annual family vacation! You will not be disappointed in this house for your large family or group!

The house and property were very nice and allowed lots of room for our large family. The kitchen items were well stocked and there were plenty of dishes and pots and pans. However there were only 3 kitchen towels for drying dishes. The outdoor kitchen with grill was great. The bedrooms were good, however the listing does not explain that two bedrooms share a wall that is open at the peak so if using for small children that might cry in the night the sound would be more apt to carry. There were clean towel and washcloth on each bed but no hand towels for drying hands in the bathrooms. Extra towels would have been nice too. The host provided shampoo etc. which was nice. The play area was a big hit with our grandchildren, however the playhouse needs a little repair. The fire ring was nice to use but most of the camping chairs are not safe to use and need thrown out. The host was very responsive when there was trouble with WiFi and came right away to solve the problem. The two cats were enjoyed by the kids but they were very aggressive if you had food outside and they kept wanting to go in the house. Overall it was a pleasant stay and provided all the things we needed for our large family to spend time together.

We had a wonderful time my mother's 92 and there was seven of us kids are still alive and some spouses with us it was a fun time lots of food nice area nice bonfires we deep fryer down there we shot and played pool it was just a good time to relax and enjoy each other

My yearly extended family get together was very enjoyable at this beautiful property. The swimming pond was most appreciated in the summer heat and the water temp was perfect, not too warm nor cold. The kitchen is well stocked, the outdoor bar / grill with direct TV and fire pit was a great gathering spot. The location is a little remote, but still an easy drive to Serpent Mound, hiking, breweries, wineries, Portsmouth Murals, and the world's largest horseshoe crab in Hillsboro!

The house and property were very nice and allowed lots of room for our large family. The kitchen items were well stocked and there were plenty of dishes and pots and pans. However there were only 3 kitchen towels for drying dishes. The outdoor kitchen with grill was great. The bedrooms were good, however the listing does not explain that two bedrooms share a wall that is open at the peak so if using for small children that might cry in the night the sound would be more apt to carry. There were clean towel and washcloth on each bed but no hand towels for drying hands in the bathrooms. Extra towels would have been nice too. The host provided shampoo etc. which was nice. The play area was a big hit with our grandchildren, however the playhouse needs a little repair. The fire ring was nice to use but most of the camping chairs are not safe to use and need thrown out. The host was very responsive when there was trouble with WiFi and came right away to solve the problem. The two cats were enjoyed by the kids but they were very aggressive if you had food outside and they kept wanting to go in the house. Overall it was a pleasant stay and provided all the things we needed for our large family to spend time together.

This property was absolutely perfect for our large family! There was plenty of room inside and out. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed for making meals. The bathrooms had plenty of toilet paper and full-size toiletries, which is not something we had experienced in other homes. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor grilling area/fire pit/patio was so wonderful for corn hole (provided), as well as meals and evening fires. There really was something for everyone! Dan and Sharon have set up a full wall of cabinets with toddler toys; outdoors there is a swing set and playhouse, the pond with paddle boat and canoe, large yard for group games (or water balloon throwing), along with the large patio area previously mentioned. Check-in was very easy. Dan and Sharon are gracious hosts,and very responsive to questions/needs. They checked with us to see if we needed more wood for the firepit before we had even asked. They told us that they are continuing to add additional amenities and upgrades to the property, although it was already perfect for our family! It was unanimous in our family that we will be back again for our annual family vacation! You will not be disappointed in this house for your large family or group!

This home is awesome! Definitely set up for large groups. We had 21 and had plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the treehouse and game room. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Two refrigerators were nice. Don’t bother to bring spices, shampoo or hand soap - it’s all there. Must be more than 30 spices. If your group wants to hang out, this is the place.

We had a wonderful time my mother's 92 and there was seven of us kids are still alive and some spouses with us it was a fun time lots of food nice area nice bonfires we deep fryer down there we shot and played pool it was just a good time to relax and enjoy each other

This beautiful property was perfect for our family of 17 to meet together from points east and west. Sharon is a wonderful host, responding quickly to our questions and needs. The huge indoor kitchen was well-equipped to cook full meals for a big group. Two full-sized refrigerators were a big plus! We also enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen and fire pit. We loved the property and the house! The outside patio/kitchen area is so neat and an inviting place to relax and hang out! The outdoor and indoor games provided a variety of fun for the whole family! The side driveway was perfect place to chalk out a pickleball court! Sharon is easy to contact and is very accommodating!

Lovely home and setting. So much to do for all ages. Our group ranged from 6 months old to 71 years. There was baby equipment for the baby, so many games for the children, and relaxing outdoor seating for the adults. We had a wonderful stay.
