Waves Beach House

A well located large house well suited for a big family gathering. We had four families who were very comfortable in their individual spaces. The kids loved the pool, but with the beach so close they could choose either. A beautiful walk to the local surf club and with shopping only a few hundred metres away everything was very convenient.

The downstairs had a grubby floor - we all had black feet from walking on the floor. I also thought it was poor that no dishcloths or dish brushes were provided. Otherwise a great family house to stay in.

House is well set up for a large group. 8 bedrooms, basically two x 4 bdrm houses interconnected so two kitchens, lounges etc. Manager was responsive when we had an issue with a fuse. Would have been good to have some basics included salt, pepper, tea bags etc. just to save us buying everything. We would have replaced as needed. There wasn't really anything in the house. Nice and close to the beach and Mt Coolum for walks, IGA and small block of shops are in walking distance too. All in all a great house for what we needed.

The house was lovely and accommodated all 15 of us. It was in a great location with easy access to the beach, cafes and life surf club.

Adequately provisioned The outdoor blue plastic Adirondack Like chairs need to be replaced. Several of us have blue stains on our white pants which are proving difficult to remove We cleaned the BBQ thoroughly on our departure. It was not as clean as that when we arrived. I was constantly hassled about the arrival time which i found irritating. One or two reminders would have been enough. Also heavy rain caused flooding in the entrance way When I attempted to phone the agents the phone rang out
