We really enjoyed having our own private pool. We were very comfortable staying here.

Great house as described. Juliette, the property manage, was excellent - she waited and greeted us upon arrival, was always available when little issues came up (missign grill cleaner, clogged tub drain) and addressed them in a timely manner. Property was very clean and comfortable. We picked this specific property to be at a midway point from all parts of island - we did a lot of driving everywhere and saw a lot. Wonderful stay.

Pool lovely for a dip after a day at the beach. Owners very good with help and ideas and Juliet who greets you is lovely, as are her meals! You definitely need a car but easy to get about the island so long as you avoid the potholes! We had a lovely time

This is a great villa in a great location, providing like us, you would prefer to be among the locals instead of being stuck with the tourist. It's best to have a car on hand if you are staying here, at least for part of your stay because the local bars / mini marts won't sustain you for the week or more, as charming as they are. The villa is showing small signs of tiredness / age in parts, maybe more outside than in, but nothing serious and the longer we stayed, the more we got used to it and enjoyed it. The great plus of the location of the villa is also sadly met with what for me was a big downside and that is because it is in the heart of a local semi rural hamlet type of place, the locals have clearly got to get on with their lives. This means that gardening strimmer's and the like would disturb the peace now and then. More irritating though, was the yapping and barking of several dogs that surround the villa. Don't get me wrong, for many this wouldn't be an issue, as it's certainly not a constant thing, but for me, my recondite hatred of these little furry four legged noisy crap factories, is such that I want to strangle them the minute they start yapping at each other. This basically disturbs my chakra, enough sadly to take the edge of what otherwise would have been an excellent holiday. If, like most of the world it seems, you do like dogs, then there's nothing about this place that should stop you having a great holiday. Barbados is really very good !

Beautiful house. 100% as advertised. Pool is lovely. Up on the hill. You need to get a hire car. Not for people who just lie on the beach all day because you have to drive everywhere. But if you know Barbados and want a perfect stay. This is the place.
