Love the antique furniture, very comfy beds and every convenience you want. Will love to go there again!

Spacious and comfortable home in a very central location close to the beautiful Nambucca River. Perfect spot for a relaxing holiday, we loved our stay.

We enjoyed our week at River house. The host had left thoughtful welcome gifts, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. Our pooch enjoyed his stay too. The host was very responsive and helped sort out a small issue very quickly. The location was very central and close to the river, Woolies, 2 clubs and cafes.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is excellent but the property itself was disappointing. Advertised as 3BR but really it is only a 2BR house. Three single beds were put in what looks like a hallway where the toilet, laundry and shower are located (all in what's supposed to be the 3rd bedroom). There are 7 people in our group and we have to go inside the 3rd bedroom to use the toilet as there is no other toilet. The kitchen/dining is small for 7 people to comfortably fit in. If you move the dining table away from the wall to fit 7 people, there won't be enough space to go in and out of the kitchen. While some areas of the house have been refurbished, you can still tell that the house is old. Windows are difficult to open, shower head too low, tap handles broken and powèr point in the bathroom is too high that only a tall person can reach. There are little spiders in the bathroom (on the bathtub-coming/falling from the ceiling). The property has been described to have a private bathroom and internet, but not once we're we able to access it and the so called private bathroom/toilet is too private that we have to go through the so-called 3rd bedroom where other people are staying, invading their privacy.While we appreciate that it is the Christmas/New Year holidays, I think there should still be a designated person who will answer calls. I tried calling the mobile number listed as I was having trouble accessing the key locker but no one answered. I was in the office around noon to get the key but was told to come back at 2pm. I explained that we're not checking-in as we know check-in is at 2pm but would like to pick up the key so we don't have to go back and forth. I was told i can't have the key and come back at 2pm.There was no mention the office will close at 1pm.The only good thing is the property's location,everything else seems to be overrated. How it was described/advertised looks really good, but in reality it is not - and unfortunately we fell for it at a price.

Reviewer Comments: Location perfect front room ( the lounge) super comfortable the main bedroom large and beautifully presented. After that it goes downhill fast. The bathroom is horrible step in bath with shower, no ventilation no windows, PowerPoint for hairdryer too high to reach. Second bathroom / toilet / laundry is though the third bedroom. Which really shouldn’t be a bedroom . It felt so wrong to walk though a ladies bedroom to go to the toilet during the night. Lots of windows are painted shut and made the kitchen extremely hot when cooking. The dining table when pulled away from the wall to fit six makes getting to the kitchen and toilet a tight fit. I stood on a stud earring in my bedroom which would indicate that the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed sufficiently last clean. This house is more suitable for 4 people 2 bedrooms. We left a night early. It was not worth $2300 for four nights
