What an awesome property! We spent most of our time on the back deck, walking the grounds, and fishing in the pond. We bought some locally grown apples just down the road, and enjoyed exploring Nashville and Edinburgh. It was the peace and quiet we had been craving. The only downside is that we now want to buy a massage chair ;)

Our whole family had the best time (esp our dog!) - the kids loved the hot tub, paddle boat, exploring the woods, and the PacMan arcade too. We went into Nashville every day for a meal or snack, it was the perfect distance away to make it a fun excursion but we were always happy to get back to the peaceful cabin. Truly the perfect place for our trip!

This place was awesome! Host was responsive and helpful. The location of the home was peaceful and relaxing. We caught fish in the pond, walked the trails and enjoyed the large deck and hot tub. Lots of bird activity, heard many different birds everyday. The house is traditional log home, you can tell the owners have put a lot of time, money and effort into making this such a lovely place. We actually loved it so much we added another night to our reservation. There are lots of activities to do in this beautiful area. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I came for an overnight stay for our wedding anniversary, and it was just what we needed. The cabin is very nice, quiet and peaceful, and has a good amount of features for the price (hot tub, outdoor fireplace, pool table, and more). Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back sometime.

Beautiful secluded property with plenty of open space for recreating in the front yard and beautiful lake with a low suspension bridge to explore. The back “patio” was beautiful with a barbecue , hot tub and stone fireplace overlooking a wooded ravine and lake. This getaway was just what we were looking for ! The cabin itself was well appointed with a lovely kitchen , large common area and 2 nice bedrooms. I cannot think of a single item missing in this cabin. Also noted we’re fishing poles a Jon boat a play ground bocce and so on. NICELY DONE !! Terry

Great place for peace and quiet. Wonderful small cabin perfect for couples getaway. Lovely back porch with fireplace and hot tub. Lots of deer and turkey in the mornings to watch. Only bummer was that the bridge over the pond was blocked off due to needing repair. Will definitely stay again!!

We absolutely loved 5 Star cabin! We loved the hiking trails throughout the property and having the big outdoor fireplace was wonderful! The hot tub was so nice to enjoy during the cool evenings. We appreciated Marissa’s quick replies to any questions we had. This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at and we definitely planning to return!

This cabin is small but very well furnished. It was decorated well for the season. We were greeted with cookies and pastries which was very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked for those who wanted to cook or have coffee/tea (even though we didnt do any of those). Dish towels would have been nice but there were plenty of paper towels. The bedroom could have used another night stand- for us eyeglass wearing CPap machine users but the closet was stocked with games. The arcade game was an awesome addition to the living area. The bathroom is small and while I didnt care for the shower stall or shower head, it served its purpose. Be aware this is a dog friendly cabin. There were a few cleanliness issues upon arrival that the owner took care of immediately. Her communication was impeccable. Upstairs was the AMAZING massage chair that was awesome after a long day of walking. Outside is perfect: twenty private acres with a private fishing lake, canoe, paddleboat, bridge and trails. Theres bocce ball, putt-putt golf, cornhole and more. Theres a great piece of playgroup equipment if you have children. The hot tub was nice to relax in on cool nights and the fireplace was nice as well. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would definitely recommend to other couples or small families. The location is great, not too far from Nashville.

This property was fabulous. The cabin itself was excellent, everything you need was ready for you, even treats! But the property itself is the best getaway. You can spend a whole weekend and never leave, hiking, resting, just getting away.

We planned to do some things locally, but once we checked in we never left. The trails, the pond, fire place on deck and hot tub kept us relaxed and on site. The place is spotless and not missing a thing. The loft bed looks out windows in both directions. Absolutely an amazing property.

It was amazing and mesmerizing. Everything was so beautiful and so clean the cabin was decorated perfectly and all the amenities were amazing. We were there for two hours and my girlfriend already booked another weekend. Thank you so much for an amazing getaway. 10out of 10 rating!

As far as location of cabin and ease to find can't ask for better. As far as cleanliness, not the greatest. Felt dirty the whole time we were there. Floors were not clean, Shower wasn't clean. Had hair and black scum on walls. Not enough towels and washcloths. Had to wash after every use. No dish cloth to wash dishes. Had to wash with paper towels. House keeping needs to use time given wisely and pay more attention to detail. Probably won't stay at this cabin again.

This cabin experience was more than the photos could ever portray! First off- the host are phenomenal! They were responsive and answered any questions I had promptly. Even worked out a small grocery delivery (not their fault) issue with Kroger! The cleanliness was more than you could ever expect, especially for a cabin in the woods! Not a single bug/bugs inside the cabin either which is like wizardry on how they’re able to manage that lol. Anyways- highly recommend booking your stay here! We enjoyed our short stay at this quaint little cabin in the woods. It offered so many activities for everyone. We were spoiled by the hospitality and cleanliness of the cabin. We decided that this is a new tradition that we will begin in this next season of life for life long friends!

Beautiful area, cabin was cozy. Lots of dead flies on the upstairs table and in the window sills. And a mouse ate our bagels , that was sitting on the counter. But we loved the cabin and would come back.

This listing is 100% accurate in every way except ot's even better than they could possibly list it. It is secluded and just a wonderful, restful place full of beauty. They have a keurig WITH pods to choose. They had pastries for us from a local bakery and a complimentary bottle of sparkling grape juice. We have already booked our next stay for our anniversary so we cam spend more time outside exploring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STAY!! And i cannot forget to mention Marissa! She was easy to reach and quick to respond to emails. Excellent property management!!

I can't say enough good things. Every step of the way there was excellent communication. Once we arrived we were blown away by the property. We just wish that we had more time to stay and enjoy more of the property.

Just an overall awesome experience. Marisa (host) worked with us to fix my scheduling mistake and was able to find an open cabin that was just as nice as the 5 Star. The cabin itself was beautiful and a perfect location and we will definitely be back! Thank’s again to Marisa who literally saved our trip from becoming a disaster.

Will visit again when it is warmer to take advantage of fishing and canoeing. One minor hiccup when hot tub wouldn’t turn on but it was fixed very quickly. This is definitely a 5-star cabin!

This cabin experience was more than the photos could ever portray! First off- the host are phenomenal! They were responsive and answered any questions I had promptly. Even worked out a small grocery delivery (not their fault) issue with Kroger! The cleanliness was more than you could ever expect, especially for a cabin in the woods! Not a single bug/bugs inside the cabin either which is like wizardry on how they’re able to manage that lol. Anyways- highly recommend booking your stay here! I don’t have very many photos (I suck at capturing moments) but here’s eat I got.

It was a great experience to stay here. We loved every moment of our stay. Communication with host was great and she was extremely accomidating. Exlporing the property as a family was a must. A wonderful quiet weekend getaway. We will be back.

We absolutely loved 5 Star cabin! We loved the hiking trails throughout the property and having the big outdoor fireplace was wonderful! The hot tub was so nice to enjoy during the cool evenings. We appreciated Marissa’s quick replies to any questions we had. This is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed at and we definitely planning to return!

One of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed at! Already talking about another trip in the Fall. Everything you could possibly want or need. The host even left us a DELICIOUS jar of homemade salsa & chips to enjoy during our stay. Truly an amazing cabin & property! Can’t wait to return! 😊

This place is amazing. Our favorite spot was the deck overlooking the woods. Perfect for morning coffee but we also ate all our meals out there too. Scenic drive to Nashville and Brown County State Park.

This place was awesome! Host was responsive and helpful. The location of the home was peaceful and relaxing. We caught fish in the pond, walked the trails and enjoyed the large deck and hot tub. Lots of bird activity, heard many different birds everyday. The house is traditional log home, you can tell the owners have put a lot of time, money and effort into making this such a lovely place. We actually loved it so much we added another night to our reservation. There are lots of activities to do in this beautiful area. Would definitely recommend!

Great location to escape from the hustle of daily life. Easy access off 135 and not too far from Little Nashville. Sadly the bridge was out of commission to enjoy the full property. Overall wonderful stay and highly recommend this property for a little peace of serenity away from home.

What an awesome property! We spent most of our time on the back deck, walking the grounds, and fishing in the pond. We bought some locally grown apples just down the road, and enjoyed exploring Nashville and Edinburgh. It was the peace and quiet we had been craving. The only downside is that we now want to buy a massage chair ;)

This listing is 100% accurate in every way except ot's even better than they could possibly list it. It is secluded and just a wonderful, restful place full of beauty. They have a keurig WITH pods to choose. They had pastries for us from a local bakery and a complimentary bottle of sparkling grape juice. We have already booked our next stay for our anniversary so we cam spend more time outside exploring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STAY!! And i cannot forget to mention Marissa! She was easy to reach and quick to respond to emails. Excellent property management!!

I needed a quiet getaway to rejuvenate. It was also a birthday weekend away. My family including the dogs had a wonderful time. The pictures do not do the cabin and the property justice. It's beautiful. The weather was beautiful. The pastries were a very nice surprise. I can't name just one thing that was a favorite. I will be planning another stay in the future. Thank you so much for pleasure of this cabin.

Beautiful secluded property with plenty of open space for recreating in the front yard and beautiful lake with a low suspension bridge to explore. The back “patio” was beautiful with a barbecue , hot tub and stone fireplace overlooking a wooded ravine and lake. This getaway was just what we were looking for ! The cabin itself was well appointed with a lovely kitchen , large common area and 2 nice bedrooms. I cannot think of a single item missing in this cabin. Also noted we’re fishing poles a Jon boat a play ground bocce and so on. NICELY DONE !! Terry

This cabin is small but very well furnished. It was decorated well for the season. We were greeted with cookies and pastries which was very welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked for those who wanted to cook or have coffee/tea (even though we didnt do any of those). Dish towels would have been nice but there were plenty of paper towels. The bedroom could have used another night stand- for us eyeglass wearing CPap machine users but the closet was stocked with games. The arcade game was an awesome addition to the living area. The bathroom is small and while I didnt care for the shower stall or shower head, it served its purpose. Be aware this is a dog friendly cabin. There were a few cleanliness issues upon arrival that the owner took care of immediately. Her communication was impeccable. Upstairs was the AMAZING massage chair that was awesome after a long day of walking. Outside is perfect: twenty private acres with a private fishing lake, canoe, paddleboat, bridge and trails. Theres bocce ball, putt-putt golf, cornhole and more. Theres a great piece of playgroup equipment if you have children. The hot tub was nice to relax in on cool nights and the fireplace was nice as well. Overall our stay was pleasant and we would definitely recommend to other couples or small families. The location is great, not too far from Nashville.
