We had such a wonderful time celebrating our Mom’s 95th birthday! Enough room for all of us. The kitchen and deck allowed for us to be together with a lot of space. And the lake with all the boats! A great time was had by all : )

Very comfortable house, it was perfect for a family weekend. The hike down to the dock was too steep for my dad who is unsteady on his feet but the view from the deck was great and overall we had a lovely time. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The property was spacious and overall quiet. Plenty of room for the 6 of us to have our own space or gather together as desired. The deck and kitchen were lovely areas to hang out together. However, the overall upkeep of the place and thoughtfulness regarding guests needs was a little lacking. For example, there was a big kitchen but the actual useful items for a family to cook were lacking (e.g., the only skillet was so deformed you couldn't cook much in it), rather it seemed to be filled with old appliances and such that the owner no longer uses. There were 4 kayaks, but one didn't have a kayak paddle. The path down to the pond/kayaks was very slick and steep in places - one of us fell. The bathrooms were dark and quite dated. Overall, we didn't feel it was worth the amount we paid.

The overall accommodations were fine. We enjoyed our stay. the house however was a bit dated, not enough lighting. the condition of the BBQ grille was appalling, which took us a great deal of time to clean. The Kayaks also needed to be hose down.

The house was a great set up for 8 of us, especially the beautiful open kitchen and dining area. It would have been nice if we could’ve had fire as the weather had gotten cooler. Also, while we were cooking the grill was pretty dirty so we had a lot of flare ups and we ran out of gas while cooking. The host was very responsive and dropped a new one.

My husband and my step daughter and family stayed here. It is an open space a living room. Sitting room. 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom but kitchen is a women or a person who enjoys cooking dream kitchen. Large counter in middle with stools, and dining table for up to 8. It's amazing. This place has everything you need, clean. But wait til u step out on the wrap around deck... The view from there... Lake a shirt walk from the house. I would rather this place 5 stars. Communication with host was fast. I would love to come back again. Thank you. Sitting on that deck was like a piece of heaven!

Perfect spot for a family celebration. Lots of room with a large kitchen and dining table. Propane tank was empty and another one was delivered right away. Great response from the owner. Several family members enjoyed the kayaks. Peaceful and relaxing.

We had an amazing stay at Heather and Dan’s home. The home was extremely clean, well organized. An absolutely beautiful kitchen, dining room, and a deck with a great view of the lake. Even the rain didn’t ruin the great time we had. Heather was a very responsive host, and takes great care with her property. We would 110% stay here again anytime!

Would definitely stay here again! All of the bedrooms had AC and the kitchen and living room were huge with plenty of space for everyone! The only downside was the floor in the kitchen was really really sticky. Owners said it was the cleaning products used on the floor. That was the only unpleasant experience.

Her communication was A+, she was responsive and doesn't beat around the bush. She made her answers clear when I had any questions. The house and property were beautiful and you can tell they pride themselves in keeping a clean and responsible household. She was great hostess and I would recommend working with her to anybody looking for a nice quiet stay. She was as good a host as you get.

The property is completely beautiful in a quiet and lush woodlot overlooking the lake with naturalized plantings and a spacious deck. We only stayed for one night and ate out, but the kitchen is expansive and well fitted out with pots and pans and would be great for a large group and entertaining family and friends.

What a wonderful home! This house was huge! There were plenty of rooms for our family, but 3 of my relatives did not make it.The first floor had a bedroom right near the main floor bathroom which was perfect for my 82 year old parents.My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master suite.We were there for Friday and Saturday night.My daughter's wedding was in Union which was a short 15 minute drive.Unfortunately with all the prep at the wedding venue, we were hardly at the house at all.We absolutely loved the huge kitchen and the dining table would have been great for all the games that were stacked by the wood stove.The communication with host Heather was wonderful, and she was very accommodating for an early check in, but we didn't need it as we went straight to the wedding venue to set up.My husband took a walk down to the dock to check it out in the morning.We will definitely keep this property in mind for a family week long vacation in the future.I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Nice place with plenty of room. Kitchen had everything we needed. The 2nd floor bathroom would be better situated so the other bedroom occupants don’t have to go through the “master” to use bathroom. Otherwise, nice place!

Lovely space, huge place for the price, amazing communication with the host!!! Above and beyond assistance with our host. The one issue is that from the listing we thought this was a lake front house with swimming access but the pond/lake is pretty mucky and no clear dock swimming here. As our primary goal was lake time this listing wasn’t a great fit.

We made this booking last minute when another property had last minute issues, and the owner was immediately responsive and welcoming. Our family gathering included a puppy (who was also welcome here) and we all enjoyed the spacious home, acreage and lake views.

Perfect spot for a family celebration. Lots of room with a large kitchen and dining table. Propane tank was empty and another one was delivered right away. Great response from the owner. Several family members enjoyed the kayaks. Peaceful and relaxing.

Her communication was A+, she was responsive and doesn't beat around the bush. She made her answers clear when I had any questions. The house and property were beautiful and you can tell they pride themselves in keeping a clean and responsible household. She was great hostess and I would recommend working with her to anybody looking for a nice quiet stay. She was as good a host as you get.

What a beautiful property, so serene and quiet - away from it all. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing girls' weekend. Restaurants aren't too far either. The only downside was not being able to enjoy the lake more as it was wintertime, but the snow made for a very pretty view. We'd definitely stay here again!

The property is completely beautiful in a quiet and lush woodlot overlooking the lake with naturalized plantings and a spacious deck. We only stayed for one night and ate out, but the kitchen is expansive and well fitted out with pots and pans and would be great for a large group and entertaining family and friends.

We arrived early in the evening. The house was a bit further than we expected but that was based on our own analysis. We had received the code in a timely manner, got in easily and found the house to be in great shape.

The weather was less than ideal, but our family enjoyed the very spacious kitchen, playing music, doing puzzles, and, when weather permitted, kayaking and fishing on the beautiful pond. It seemed like we were the only ones on the pond most of the time. Secluded and quiet location. On morning walks w/ the dog, we saw deer, a fox, and other wildlife. It was a bit longer drive than we were used to for groceries, etc, but was well worth it for the peaceful relaxation that it afforded! We had a lovely time!

What a wonderful home! This house was huge! There were plenty of rooms for our family, but 3 of my relatives did not make it.The first floor had a bedroom right near the main floor bathroom which was perfect for my 82 year old parents.My husband and I stayed in the upstairs master suite.We were there for Friday and Saturday night.My daughter's wedding was in Union which was a short 15 minute drive.Unfortunately with all the prep at the wedding venue, we were hardly at the house at all.We absolutely loved the huge kitchen and the dining table would have been great for all the games that were stacked by the wood stove.The communication with host Heather was wonderful, and she was very accommodating for an early check in, but we didn't need it as we went straight to the wedding venue to set up.My husband took a walk down to the dock to check it out in the morning.We will definitely keep this property in mind for a family week long vacation in the future.I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

My family came for my daughter’s graduation from Umass Amherst. I chose this rental for the proximity between the school and our home.I was so happy I picked this home within the first ten minutes. Them home is beautiful. The lilac bushes surrounding the home fill the air with the most amazing fragrance. The large family kitchen enabled us to sit as a family and enjoy each other’s company. The nights are quiet and the sky filled with stars. My adult son went fishing off the dock and just enjoyed a peaceful morning. I will be back. This home in this quaint little town is one of VRBOs best keep secret. Thank you Heather for your hospitality.

We stayed here for my nieces wedding. The house was very well appointed in a beautiful setting. The kitchen is huge! We spent most of our time in the house gathered around the table laughing and eating. We had cold raining weather so we did not get to enjoy the grounds as much as I would have liked but it was definitely beautiful. Comfy beds. Living room and sitting room had big comfy sofas. Very clean and tidy. With clear instructions for check in and out. The host were very accommodating. I loved this home.
