Clean and well fitted out (as described) and in a good location for harbour and beach. Friendly staff. I was initially concerned at a lack of information about where we could park, but once we had got to the place to ask, turns out they have a free parking space nearby for guests and we were not rushed out of it when we checked out so we had an extra couple of hours on the harbour with no parking problem. Great to have good air conditioning - gets hot in the attic room - and controllable blinds for the windows. Will happily stay there again.

Nice and clean with ample car parking and good shower, a great location too positioned close to the beach and restaurants. My only feedback is the room felt abit dark as it lacked sunlight but other than this it was a great stay.

Loved comfortable rooms with kitchenette. No oven but has microwave, fridge and hob. We only booked gor one night but decided to stay an extra night so we had to movd rooms. No problem, we packed our bags and they were moved for us. Thete is a carpark around the corner but you need to ring the hotel when youre by the barrier for them to let you in

Lovely one night stay including a meal in the restaurant. The hotel is in a central location and has free parking across the street. The room was spotlessly clean, and bed linen and towels were a high standard. The kitchen area was well equipped but we did not use it. The meal in the restaurant was superb and would highly recommend it but booking in advance is advisable. Neven, Luke and the team do an excellent job - we would definitely return.

We can’t fault anything about last nights stay, from check in to check out. Staff communication was great, the room was lovely, spacious and clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Everything was just perfect. Smooth checkin, the staff were really welcoming and approachable. The room was spotless, spacious, the layout was well thought out and the bed was very comfortable. It was great to have a proper big bed instead of two put together as some hotels do! Really handy to have a little kitchen area, especially the fridge. We had the tasting menu for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Everything was delicious, excellent quality and beautifully presented. The restaurant area is a cosy, welcoming space and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I would definitely recommend, if you do book a room, make sure you eat here too as it really is special.

Large spacious room finished to a high standard & clean. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Bed was large & comfortable. Good central location for shops & restaurants & less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back.

Didn't stay here long, only for 1 night, but I could have easily stayed for a week. Really good location and easy to find. Could sleep two people nicely and love that you can cook in your own room, should you wish, not for me but it may suit other people but loved that you had that option. Aircon was really good too. I stayed in room 6, a couple of floors up and that noise from the outside sitting area from the pub was fairly quiet. When I first arrived I thought 'great, it's a pub, this should be interesting' but I was pleasantly surprised, I'd definitely stay again if I was up that way. Everything was easy from check in to check out, drop your keys off in the letter box and you're good to go, so you can leave really early if you need to, like I had to.

Clean, spacious room. Friendly check in. The continuous “drone” of something, maybe a boiler, throughout the night, making the use of ear plugs necessary, for a light sleeper, took the edge of our stay - room 1. There was no problem with the road outside or the customers from the pub.

Didn't stay here long, only for 1 night, but I could have easily stayed for a week. Really good location and easy to find. Could sleep two people nicely and love that you can cook in your own room, should you wish, not for me but it may suit other people but loved that you had that option. Aircon was really good too. I stayed in room 6, a couple of floors up and that noise from the outside sitting area from the pub was fairly quiet. When I first arrived I thought 'great, it's a pub, this should be interesting' but I was pleasantly surprised, I'd definitely stay again if I was up that way. Everything was easy from check in to check out, drop your keys off in the letter box and you're good to go, so you can leave really early if you need to, like I had to.

Nice and clean with ample car parking and good shower, a great location too positioned close to the beach and restaurants. My only feedback is the room felt abit dark as it lacked sunlight but other than this it was a great stay.

Great stay. Photos did not do the room justice, spacious and very well fitted out. Staff could not do enough for you. Great bar downstairs as well! A fantastic central location. We will be returning next year.

This hotel is a right little gem in the heart of Barmouth. It’s such an easy review as everything was perfect and I would come back to Barmouth just to stay here. Staff so pleasant and welcoming and the room was wanting for nothing. We didn’t eat here but that’s something to look forward to next time.

The room was spotlessly clean, and bed linen and towels were a high standard. The kitchen area was well equipped but we did not use it. The meal in the restaurant was superb and would highly recommend it but booking in advance is advisable. Neven, Luke and the team do an excellent job - we would definitely return.

Large spacious room finished to a high standard & clean. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Bed was large & comfortable. Good central location for shops & restaurants & less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back.

What a wonderful gem of an apartment hotel room in Barmouth. Everything was great regarding the comfort of the room. The address listed on the website was incorrect so we had to call for directions… We were bummed not to have dinner at the hotel, as reservations booked up too quickly.

Everything was just perfect. Smooth checkin, the staff were really welcoming and approachable. The room was spotless, spacious, the layout was well thought out and the bed was very comfortable. It was great to have a proper big bed instead of two put together as some hotels do! Really handy to have a little kitchen area, especially the fridge. We had the tasting menu for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Everything was delicious, excellent quality and beautifully presented. The restaurant area is a cosy, welcoming space and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. I would definitely recommend, if you do book a room, make sure you eat here too as it really is special.

Highly recommended. A wonderful experience. Comfortable, well designed, spacious air conditioned room with an excellent powerful shower in the en-suite. Fantastic value for money. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Just a one minute walk to the car park and couldn't be more centrally located in Barmouth. Very happy guests!

Absolutely amazing place .. great food.. lovely staff..the guy at the front of the house who worked the bar and breakfasts was so nice.... a true gentleman made everyone feel welcome.. the rooms were fantastic with air conditioning ..we had an apartment with all the cooking things available if we wanted to cook for ourselves but we had breakfast included and then self catering .parking is provided free in a nearby carpark. The hotel is situated in the centre of Barmouth but it was still very quiet ..it's a five minute walk from the beach and there's loads of restaurants and bars nearby some are dog friendly. All in all it was one of the best break aways that we'd ever had .. Barmouth is such a wonderful place it has everything you need for a holiday ..beaches ...gift shops.. history ... Country walks..good railway and transport links..and very close to Snowdonia with river walks and hidden rock pools . The only downside is that we didn't stay long enough !!..but we've booked in again for next year it was that good 👍👍

What a find! Great food, great service, great location. The Fanny Talbot exceeded our expectations in every sense. The outside seating area was a lovely addition to an already excellent building. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
