Kitchen and living room were comfortable with a nice balcony. Location was ideal for walking into the downtown area. We had such an easy, pleasant stay - would certainly do it again!!

Very nice property in a great location. 15 minute walk to downtown SLO, easy drive to cal poly campus.The home is new or recently renovated and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, modern, luxurious decor. Great deck overlooking the mountains and sunsets. Off street parking, solid AC, new washer/dryer.Will definitely stay here again when we return to SLO

Rental process very smooth and a couple phone calls were picked up by rental agency by the second ring. Very pleasant and quickly addressed questions. Location is great--walk to 5 different restaurants. Easy access to downtown. Living area is bright and sunny. A few things to mention: the second "bedroom" has a very comfy king bed but no closet and no dresser. There\'s plenty of room in the master bedroom. There is no dining table; only three high top chairs at kitchen counter. No comfortable chair to sit on the deck. We were happy and lived around these quirks. A short uphill open-space hike right behind the house--we went to the top every day.

We enjoyed the property. It's new and well appointed and nicely laid out. The property offers off street parking and a nice deck as well as being walking distance from downtown SLO. We would definitely recommend the property and stay there again.

This is a newer house and everything inside was new, clean and bright, with pleasant decor. Host didn't respond initially through VRBO messaging, but once we connected they were very responsive and helpful. Plenty of parking in the area. Walkable to town, over the railroad pedestrian bridge. Occasional train whistles, but not an issue for us at all. The views from the deck are phenomenal!

The unit was just as advertised. Very clean, convenient, and nicely appointed. Very much appreciated the extras like keurig coffee pods and creamer. Well-stocked with extra soaps, shampoo, paper towels, detergent, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Manager was very nice and communicated easily. Would highly recommend!

A family Holiday trip to the Central Coast. Good location - near the rail tracks but not noisy. One train horn a day is all we experienced. Property presents as very new, and has (2) big bedrooms downstairs. Shared bath had plenty of space and was well laid out. Living area upstairs was comfortable, and a fully equipped kitchen. No issues cooking anything. Nice neighborhood to walk -- it's in a hilly area, be prepared for that walking. Easy drive to downtown, easy drive to grocery stores, etc. Front door lock took some getting used to.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is conveniently located, very nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Perfect for our short 3 night stay. We were concerned that proximity to the train tracks would be an issue but it wasn’t at all.

My wife and I recently took our daughter toCal Poly SLO. We have used VRBO in the past and have been satisfied. So we really didn’t have any expectations, good or bad. We’re happy to say, we were very pleasantly surprised! The house was immaculate! It basically looked new and was well decorated. The house was equipped with everything someone would want or need. Very thoughtful presentation. Property manager was very responsive. I highly recommend this location!

Such a darling, well equipped, comfortable place to stay in SLO. We could walk to town easily over the bridge. Would absolutely stay again. We couldn't figure out how to use the heat and they were incredibly responsive and patient. Five stars for sure!

Fantastic house, particularly for a couple. Lots of space. Beautifully decorated and clean with newer furnishings and kitchen gear. Not stuffy whatsoever, and an open floor plan to relax in. High quality pots & pans, and everything you would need for a short term stay. Close to town, and the trains are not an issue considering how infrequently they run. Safe neighborhood as well. The management company, however, Retreat was difficult to work with. We would not stay here again simply on account of the poor communications and nickel & diming that they did. Questions were not responded to timely, and our request for a late check out to two individuals, once we arrived, was never answered. Finally had to call, and were told that we would have to pay for a late check out because the cleaners were on such a tight schedule. When we finally checked out, we walked the neighborhood and for two hours, there were no house cleaners. We would never rent from Retreat again. Timely communications and not feeling like they are reaching into your pocket for extra dollars is important to us

This is a newer house and everything inside was new, clean and bright, with pleasant decor. Host didn't respond initially through VRBO messaging, but once we connected they were very responsive and helpful. Plenty of parking in the area. Walkable to town, over the railroad pedestrian bridge. Occasional train whistles, but not an issue for us at all. The views from the deck are phenomenal!

Excellent decor and ideal setting --- it was an easy walk into town. You might note that DT is accessible over the train station. Also the train is infrequent but might also be something to share with future tenants.

We only stayed one night but it was a great one! The beds are big and the linens are nice! The washer and dryer were a huge plus for us. The whole place was beautiful and walkable from the Amtrak station over the pedestrian bridge (which has a ramp if you have wheeled luggage). The late check-in time (4pm) and early check-out time (10am) weren't great for us but the host okayed us checking in 15 minutes early.

Really nice house for a girls trip! The kitchen was very well stocked, everything was in working order, the beds were comfortable, the patio was nice for our morning coffee. Communication was great.
