Seagrove Sunset 1107-Gulf Front View-Sleeps 6

We were extremely disappointed when we arrived at the strong smell of marijuana in the room. We contacted the host but they didn’t have another unit available and only offered air fresheners. We opened up the doors and during the storm there was bad humidity so everything was sweating and sticky. We went to the beach and came back and the smell was still very strong. We spent the first day of our summer vacation trying to find another unit and asking for a refund. The property manager kept telling us it was in the air system and there probably is some truth to that but this unit had definitely been smoked in and we have a small child. We didn’t want our clothes to smell and ended up with headaches due to the air fresheners/smoke. It was unacceptable for a unit to be turned over in that condition.

4 o’clock checkin was needless. It was raining. 4 or 5couples were unloading and waiting for doors to unlock at 4pm. It appeared that all rooms were ready for occupancy so they could have been opened earlier.

Clean, some updates, balcony and beach view can’t be better! Easy access to great restaurants

I felt that the furniture needed to be cleaned and the walls at the entrance paintedVery disappointed that the beach has become publicI have been at that beach over the yearsPeople were very close to us- no privacyAnd large tents set up everywhere I think it should be included in description that the beach is not private

We had an amazing week. The unit was great and we love this area. We have been many times and this was the best weather ever. Thank you.
