Beautiful cabin. Loved that it was still decorated for Christmas. We found it to be clean and exactly as described in narrative. Very spacious with lots of space to entertain or to enjoy the whole place to yourselves. The king size master bed was comfortable. Home was fully stocked with any and everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. The hot tub was an added plus! Location was perfect for us to explore Burlington and Charlotte. Lots of great local restaurants, breweries, and hiking so close. Would def recommend for couples, groups, or families. All in all we had w fantastic stay & found it easy to communicate w the host.

There were good and bad portions of this home and stay. On the positive side, the Christmas decorations and tree were lovely. The location is peaceful and mostly quiet. We loved hearing the roosters next door and watching the train pass by at the end of the field. The not so great pieces included: mouse droppings in the utensil drawers and pots and pans cabinets, so we had to wash everything before using, then wash and leave everything on the table after using. There were baking sheets with a thick layer of grease on them and utensils with rust and stuck on food. While at the table eating, we discovered dead flies and cobwebs stuck to the light above the table. There was no heat in the basement, so it was super chilly (we stayed in winter), making it hard to enjoy the space. The video game and slot machine in the basement weren't working. The hot tub was nice and toasty but the control panel wasn't functioning, so we couldn't put on the jets. The fireplace in the loft wasn't working. Someone was sent out to fix it, but it only stayed working for about 15 minutes after he left and the pilot light went out, so we decided to do just do without it.The house is very dark - just generally low lighting. The heat is extremely loud and woke us up many times each night. Be advised that the huge field in the photos is a working farm field. The storm door only stays closed if locked and will otherwise fly open. With some TLC this could be a great property.

The cabin was great, a little warm (though the radiant heat was nice!). Turned all thermostats to 60.Found mouse poops on kitchen counter on our last day. No biggie as far as we are concerned, just letting you know. The field was great for dog walking. It was too windy and dry for a campfire, so that was not used; but looked wonderful. Was able to get a great view of the pre-dawn sky - such bright stars! The king size bed was amazing (top floor bedroom) The top loft bed area looked perfect for kids! The basement was great for doing yoga! Thanks.

We rented the cabin for my mother's 75th birthday and had a wonderful time! A beautiful location yet close to town and provisions.
