It was great! Super clean & comfortable. Had everything we needed and more. Nice little wooded area to walk the dog. Fire pit for roasting marshmallows was cozy! Definitely would stay again

Well appointed house with a very comfortable king size bed. We cooked multiple meals, used the grill, and had everything we needed to do it all for two people. There are roosters next door but, the house is well insulated and you can’t hear them inside. Location is convenient to many places.

The property is just as good as it looks in the pictures! The host was very easy to get ahold of with any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen was well stocked (sandwich bags, foil, basic seasoning) and had everything we needed for cooking. The roku had a guest setting that you could set a time to log you out of all of you accounts (that was much appreciated). The room with the bunk beds even had some children's books. It was only about a 10 minute drive to Margaritaville's indoor waterpark. Our family highly recommends this rental.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hawthorn house recently for a much needed getaway and it was absolutely lovely! We wanted to get away from our very busy lives to enjoy some peace and quiet while we celebrated being together for 6 whole years. The check in process was incredibly easy, the property was easy to find, well equipped and clean! We have stayed in places before that claimed to have a well appointed kitchen and holy cow Hawthorn House blew them out of the water! They had anything we could ever need while cooking. The bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets too! We haven’t slept that well in some time. The bathroom is great, and as someone who loves a hot shower to unwind, Hawthorn House has plenty of hot water to relax under! Our house contact, Kelly, was absolutely wonderful to communicate with as well. She worked with us on an early check in, kept us up to date on if a lawncare company or gardener would be around, and so kindly left us a little bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary with! The handwritten note and snacks were so sweet and really made the trip feel special. I highly recommend Hawthorn House! We will certainly be back if we get the chance!

My dad and I were in town for a fishing tournament and we booked 2 nights. It was beyond perfect for us and in a great, peaceful location! Plentiful parking for my truck with a bass boat and another vehicle. I highly recommend this cottage! You won't be disappointed!

This property was amazing and perfect! The location was right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and an easy to navigate area. The property made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host created a dream environment, plenty of amenities as well as a very clear and cohesive guidebook that answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend especially for small young families or a group of friends. Was definitely a home away from home!

We will absolutely be back!!! It was clean, cozy and had everything we need. The personal touches like having shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower were nice. The smell of mint and cedar in the home were so soothing. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well!! The only thing I would recommend would be a little more privacy on the side of the house. The neighbors were out and we felt a little odd as we could hear each other

We had a wonderful 4 night stay! Great location for hiking in the various parks. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and beautiful interior. Quiet neighborhood. Loved sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning. Highly recommend.

It was well appreciated and our dachshund thoroughly enjoyed the big floor to ceiling window to watch the lizards, squirrels and deer. It would have been helpful to have a grab bar in the shower; otherwise it was just right.

The cottage was very clean and well kept. We did not cook at the cottage but if you want to, there is everything you would need. The only downfall was the bed was a little too firm for us, but overall the Cottage was absolutely great for a week stay!

This is just the right size for smaller families (we are a family of 3). The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The host does supply more kitchenware and little things that you'd find a convenience than other places we've stayed. Very quiet neighborhood as it is located on a road with no outlet so the traffic is light. And we even had deer right up to the cottage that hung out with us for a period of time. Check in and out was super easy. We stayed 7 nights and have 0 complaints. The cottage is not far from great local eats and attractions. Hands down we would for sure book here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hawthorn house recently for a much needed getaway and it was absolutely lovely! We wanted to get away from our very busy lives to enjoy some peace and quiet while we celebrated being together for 6 whole years. The check in process was incredibly easy, the property was easy to find, well equipped and clean! We have stayed in places before that claimed to have a well appointed kitchen and holy cow Hawthorn House blew them out of the water! They had anything we could ever need while cooking. The bed was incredibly comfortable with the softest sheets too! We haven’t slept that well in some time. The bathroom is great, and as someone who loves a hot shower to unwind, Hawthorn House has plenty of hot water to relax under! Our house contact, Kelly, was absolutely wonderful to communicate with as well. She worked with us on an early check in, kept us up to date on if a lawncare company or gardener would be around, and so kindly left us a little bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary with! This is just the right size for smaller families (we are a family of 3). The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. The host does supply more kitchenware and little things that you'd find a convenience than other places we've stayed. Very quiet neighborhood as it is located on a road with no outlet so the traffic is light. And we even had deer right up to the cottage that hung out with us for a period of time. Check in and out was super easy. We stayed 7 nights and have 0 complaints. The cottage is not far from great local eats and attractions. Hands down we would for sure book here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. They had anything you can think of that you might need. Home was warm yet modern. We've stayed many places at the lake but guaranteed we'll stay here again. My only complaint is the auto-lock on the door. It would auto-lock after 1 min. We'd be carrying in bags and have to put everything down to unlock it again. Maybe make the auto-lock in 2 or 3 min. :) Would totally recommend if being on the lake isn't a must for you.

This property was amazing and perfect! The location was right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go and an easy to navigate area. The property made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host created a dream environment, plenty of amenities as well as a very clear and cohesive guidebook that answered all our questions. Would definitely recommend especially for small young families or a group of friends. Was definitely a home away from home!

We will absolutely be back!!! It was clean, cozy and had everything we need. The personal touches like having shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower were nice. The smell of mint and cedar in the home were so soothing. Our dogs enjoyed the stay as well!! The only thing I would recommend would be a little more privacy on the side of the house. The neighbors were out and we felt a little odd as we could hear each other

Well appointed house with a very comfortable king size bed. We cooked multiple meals, used the grill, and had everything we needed to do it all for two people. There are roosters next door but, the house is well insulated and you can’t hear them inside. Location is convenient to many places.

We stayed in the area to play a few rounds of golf and hike. The house was within 15 minutes of everything we needed. Cute, clean, and charming - very comfortable for us and our dog. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. Neighbors were a little closer than anticipated, however this was not a deterrent. Overall a very pleasant stay for the long weekend.

My dad and I were in town for a fishing tournament and we booked 2 nights. It was beyond perfect for us and in a great, peaceful location! Plentiful parking for my truck with a bass boat and another vehicle. I highly recommend this cottage! You won't be disappointed!

We were there for 4H shooting sports state. Location was great as it was still close to the range but also had lots of eating choices and fun things to do within 5 minutes. Plus we didn't have to deal with the traffic of some of the main areas of the lake. Much quieter area than we have stayed before.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay! Great location for hiking in the various parks. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and beautiful interior. Quiet neighborhood. Loved sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning. Highly recommend.

The cottage was very clean and well kept. We did not cook at the cottage but if you want to, there is everything you would need. The only downfall was the bed was a little too firm for us, but overall the Cottage was absolutely great for a week stay!

The property is just as good as it looks in the pictures! The host was very easy to get ahold of with any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen was well stocked (sandwich bags, foil, basic seasoning) and had everything we needed for cooking. The roku had a guest setting that you could set a time to log you out of all of you accounts (that was much appreciated). The room with the bunk beds even had some children's books. It was only about a 10 minute drive to Margaritaville's indoor waterpark. Our family highly recommends this rental.

This is a really cute cottage with all the accoutrements of home. Love the cozy but modern decor and it’s perfectly located within easy driving distance of all of the main attractions. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals at the cottage. Bed was comfy and spacious and everything was very clean and well stocked. Love that we could bring our pups with us. Really enjoyed our stay here and will be booking again next time we’re in the Ozarks.

A lovely, clean, well-appointed and comfortable cottage perfect for us on this trip. It was well appreciated and our dachshund thoroughly enjoyed the big floor to ceiling window to watch the lizards, squirrels and deer. It would have been helpful to have a grab bar in the shower; otherwise it was just right.
