The views from this property are spectacular. The house was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the variety of options this property has available. The games in the basement, the fishing, the swimming and the different areas to enjoy relaxing. Looking forward to going back!

The home was wonderful & the pool, kitchen, firepit and game room amenities was outstanding. The double deck really set if off. We checked out KJC Atv rental, renting quads which added more fun to our stay. The host even left a welcome card which I thought was so thoughtful & nice.

Thank you for the wonderful stay! We loved the house. It was great having all the space we needed for our large family party. We loved all the fun games in the basement, and even had a great day in the pool when it was sunny! Fishing off the dock was a trip highlight. My only caveat is that the lake is more like a larger river. Some of my family members wanted to go swimming but it wasn’t really conducive to that. But it would be a great spot for a kayak or small fishing boat! Thank you again to our incredible hosts.

The house and amenities are exactly as described. It is beautiful! Great place to relax with a large family or cohort of friends. Plenty of space to spread out and gather together. It was clean and comfortable. Lots of options for bedrooms and beds. Decks and Landscaping are beautiful. We did not have the opportunity to enjoy the pool (we were too busy), but it was clean and well kept. Communication with the hosts was easy and seamless. Super Nice Place! Next time we are in the area, we will stay here again!

We went with three families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was clean and in great condition. Everything we needed was there! We especially appreciated the roll out bed because the master bedroom was very large but just one bed. Silver beach is a 30 minute drive and a great location!

Great property for our annual family reunion. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool! I also was able to bring a pontoon boat and keep it at the dock. Lake Chapin was quiet , good for cruises and tubing. The large driveway was a plus as it could accommodate my boat trailer and vehicle without having to unhook. Having two dryers was also a plus as we had our own beach towels to manage on a daily basis. The location is somewhat distant from the local towns for quick runs to a store or restaurant but overall a really great place. The host Mike was very good with info and local guidance. Would stay here again!

Had a great stay with my kids and grandkids. They absolutely loved the pool and managed to catch a few fish off the pier. The house was big enough that we could spread out but still remain close. Definitely a good choice.

My main complaint about the house is how filthy it was; the shower was backed up and filled above the ankle, the sofa had stains ALL over it, all the rugs were stained, the basement smelled moldy and that includes a bedroom, there were bugs in the master shower and too many other things to list. The beds were uncomfortable and despite the house having a/c, the thermostat made it ridiculously difficult to use; schedules and sensors, etc. It was never really a comfortable temperature since it kept turning off. I would have expected basic comfort based on the thousands we spent to stay but this was not the case and since it rained nearly the entire stay, we were stuck inside and finally decided to go home early. I honestly waited a bit to leave my review because I hate to be so negative but in the end decided to be honest since we spent hard-earned money to stay in a house that was far from anything that resembled the vacation it was intended it to be.

Overall, we were very pleased with this property. And it was a very relaxing and peaceful space., With room to spread out it was really clean and had the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen in a VRBO. Some cushions had tears at the seams, so that could be improved on, but otherwise only praise.

Had a wonderful time.the house is lovely and in a great location. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking and socializing easy. We didn't have the best weather so the fact that we could enjoy each others company indoors, play games etc without feeling overly crowded was a plus. Neighbor was quiet.

This rental was perfect for our girls trip! The house has a great layout with multiple areas that work well for hanging out, playing games, and catching up. Our only suggestion would be more hooks in the bathrooms to hang clothes etc. The location worked well - it was an easy drive to St Joseph and New Buffalo. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

This way the perfect spot for our group of families to hang out for the long weekend. We enjoyed paddling in the lake with paddle boards and kayaks that we brought. The dock is a great launching point. We caught fish (and released) from the dock and from kayaks. We had a fire every night and made S’mores at the fire pit. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for our large group to spread out and also to come together. The kitchen Ida very well stocked! The owner was easy to be in contact with and was very accommodating and hospitable. We would definitely stay again.

Such a wonderful experience. The only problem we had was getting to the property in the middle of a blizzard but that’s no fault of the owners. It was so clean and nice. Anytime I messaged the host he responded right away.

This is our third stay at this property, and we absolutely LOVE it! The host is very responsive and considerate. The neighbors are very friendly. The view is absolutely amazing! Our family loves coming here for some much needed rest and relaxation! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights, and that wasn't nearly long enough! The views of the lake are incredible and relaxing. The home is very spacious and lovely. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the neighbors were very friendly. We definitely look forward to going back very soon.

Had a wonderful time.the house is lovely and in a great location. We had 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking and socializing easy. We didn't have the best weather so the fact that we could enjoy each others company indoors, play games etc without feeling overly crowded was a plus. Neighbor was quiet.

This rental was perfect for our girls trip! The house has a great layout with multiple areas that work well for hanging out, playing games, and catching up. Our only suggestion would be more hooks in the bathrooms to hang clothes etc. The location worked well - it was an easy drive to St Joseph and New Buffalo. Thank you for a pleasant experience!

We went with three families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool was clean and in great condition. Everything we needed was there! We especially appreciated the roll out bed because the master bedroom was very large but just one bed. Silver beach is a 30 minute drive and a great location!

Great property for our annual family reunion. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool! I also was able to bring a pontoon boat and keep it at the dock. Lake Chapin was quiet , good for cruises and tubing. The large driveway was a plus as it could accommodate my boat trailer and vehicle without having to unhook. Having two dryers was also a plus as we had our own beach towels to manage on a daily basis. The location is somewhat distant from the local towns for quick runs to a store or restaurant but overall a really great place. The host Mike was very good with info and local guidance. Would stay here again!

The VRBO was in a quiet beautiful location and was pictures were consistent. Very clean and perfect for my mom 50th biethday weekend for wine tasting. Highly recommend!

Our 5th visit over the years to this beautiful home and we’ve NEVER been disappointed - absolutely outstanding in every respect! Great location on Lake Chapin, fantastic fishing, and caring hosts, it just can’t get any better! Highly recommend and plan to return!

My siblings take a yearly vacation together in order to stay close & in touch. We loved the updated home & it’s convenient location on the lake near our Chicago home. We loved sitting out on the deck to enjoy the lake view in a quiet neighborhood. The owner gave us great info prior to our arrival about the house & nearby attractions.

Property and cleanliness was fantastic! Loved the view of the water, spaciousness, and seeing wild life we hadn't seen before. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The Simpsons arcade and pool table were a big bonus and very entertaining. The only thing I would suggest to others that stay is that if you plan on making your own meals, to be prepared to get spices (besides salt and pepper), cooking spray, foil, and a can opener as there aren't any available. We will definitely consider returning here if it is available during our next trip to Michigan!

This home was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. My family and I had a wonderful time, the check-in process was seamless and the hosts provided a comprehensive book of activities in the area.
