Great property for fishing Was able to pull the boat up on the bank to come in for lunch. only recommend would be an outdoor electrical outlet be installed for charging the boat.

Property listed just as it appeared in person. Views are better than pictures and porches are amazing. Essentials were all there we just brought clothes and food. Nice circle drive. Futon was comfortable for teens.

The Cabin was clean and very well supplied! The location -only yards from the lakefront- was great for putting in our kayaks, though a short distance further up the road, Oak Willow Park, was even easier due to a dedicated boat ramp. The Cabin site itself made sitting on the Porch morning and evening -with a coffee or wine- very restful especially after a day of kayaking or touring the areas in and around Hemphill! No complaints - I would highly recommend this little cabin on the Lake!

The cabin is lake front with beautiful views of the lake and Sabine National Forest. The cabin was very clean and cozy. You could pull your boat directly onto the grassy bank and the boat ramp was right down the road. It had a really nice back porch and the host provided use with everything we needed. I would recommend bringing an extension cord long enough to reach your boat if you need to charge a trolling motor. I would also recommend bringing pillows from home because the pillows in the cabin were not very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

House was clean and has everything you need to stay but lake access has hydrilla weeds in the bay everywhere,if you plan on using anything with a propeller forget it,picture on ad of water was in the winter when the weeds are not there?also kids say there was a man looking thru the windows during the night?

It was nice and clean. Had some minor maintainence needs. Such as the bathroom door had to be picked up on to close, needs some lighting over the sink and stove, and a full curtain on the siding doors would also be nice.

We rented this place with our neighbors as our boys are first time anglers at their school this year. There was plenty of room for everyone and the beds were comfortable. We loved being able to sit on the back porch and watch all the boats going by. We will definitely be renting again for any future fishing tournaments!

This is a very peaceful and laid back neighborhood. My sister and I loved sitting on the back deck just taking in the view. We did a little fishing at the boat ramp and the public boat ramp. We did have a bit of a problem but the host and her team got it fixed right away. She was very understanding and kind.

The property is in a very pretty area and the cabin had all the essentials! Really enjoyed doing some hiking around the area in Toledo Bend State Park and the Sabine National Forest. Also tried out Hemphill BBQ which was delicious!

Property was exactly as advertised. 20 yards from the water was ideal as this stay was a fishing trip. 2 minutes from a real nice fishing pier off the highway.
