My son and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The owner is a friendly man, easy-going, with whom I practiced my rather rusty French ;-) The chalet is roomy - there\'s enough place for 6 adults - and it\'s located on a hill with a great view of the village of Ventron below and the skislopes on the other side of the valley. The sauna is there and works fine according to my son. We also enjoyed the woodstove on colder days, and the shower. The kitchen is good and there\'s a dishwasher. There\'s ample room to park 2, maybe 3 cars. Ventron is a small village that has a couple of restaurants and a "Tabac", but no supermarkets. The "Hautes Vosges" are scenic and great for hiking and driving around on a motorcycle or car. Note that you have to bring your own bedlinnen, towels and bin liners. If you want to use the woodstove, bring your own kindling to start the fire. The beds are 1.9 m long, so taller people like me will have their feet stick out. The deposit and electricity bill (not included, but fair price per kWh) need to be paid in cash.

Séjour en février, sans neige au début mais avec une chute de neige importante en milieu de semaine.beaucoup de randonnées dans la neige en partant de la station et en allant vers l'Alsace.Chalet agréable, bien isolé et bien chauffé. Le sauna en fin de journée est très appréciable.

Wir hatten einen kurzen aber sehr schönen, winterlichen Aufenthalt. Die Hütte ist sehr gur ausgestattet und liegt mit toller Sicht über das schöne Ventron. Unser Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig und hat sich jederzeit gut um uns gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Compleet ingericht huis. Prachtig (grotendeels omheind) terras op het zuiden met fraai uitzicht. Mooie omgeving, wel veel steile wegen. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Bedden zijn smal (1.40 m) en matras was voor ons wat te hard. Heerlijke douche. Comfortabele (lig)stoelen hebben wij gemist. Voor 4 volwassen en 2 of 3 kinderen prima. Met meer volwassenen is het, ons inziens, te klein. Supermarkt op 5 km. Stokbrood en croissants kunnen in het dorp worden gehaald.

Ne souhaitant pas aller « en station » pour ces vacances de février, nous avons opté pour une location un peu plus en retrait. Grande idée! Le chalet est parfaitement situé pour rayonner jusqu’en station profiter des choix de la neige où aller déambuler dans les rues de Colmar. Le chalet est propre et bien aménagé, très bien équipé (cocotte minute, four, appareil à raclette etc). La télé dans les chambre est un plus pour occuper les enfants et rester tranquilles au rdc. Propriétaire très accueillant et plein de bons conseils. Merci pour cette semaine

Le chalet est en fait très beau. En fait. Il y a quelques points qui gâchent cette bonne impression. L'adresse indiquée n'était pas correcte, nous avons d'abord atterri sur la propriété voisine. Heureusement, nous avons ensuite pu trouver la bonne maison grâce aux photos. Ce n'est pas grave, mais c'est embêtant. Mais ce qui est pire, ce sont les lits. Les matelas ont fait leur temps depuis longtemps, après deux jours j'ai dû prendre des pilules contre le mal de dos. Le sauna est excellent et a rendu notre séjour plus agréable, malheureusement, de la moisissure s'est formée dans la salle de bain devant le sauna à cause d'une fuite dans le toit, pas vraiment agréable.....

Onze kinderen en wij hebben met hun gezin en samen fantastische dagen gehad in Ventron. Veel gedaan, veel gezien, genoten van het samenzijn, de omgeving en elkaar en dit werd mogelijk gemaakt door het leuke huis waar alles wat we nodig hadden voorhanden was. Duidelijke afspraken, correcte afhandeling. Dank u wel!! annie verstraete België

Onze kinderen en wij hebben met hun gezin en samen fantastische dagen gehad in Ventron. Veel gedaan, veel gezien, genoten van het samenzijn, de omgeving en elkaar en dit werd mogelijk gemaakt door het leuke huis waar alles wat we nodig hadden voorhanden was. Sehr schönes Chalet mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht!Die Kommunikation mit dem Hausbesitzer war etwas schwierig, da er ausschließlich Französisch sprach.Auch die Fernsehkanäle waren nur auf Französisch verfügbar, was wir nicht so ideal fanden.Ansonsten war jedoch alles bestens, und ich würde dieses Chalet auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

My son and I greatly enjoyed our stay. The owner is a friendly man, easy-going, with whom I practiced my rather rusty French ;-) The chalet is roomy - there\'s enough place for 6 adults - and it\'s located on a hill with a great view of the village of Ventron below and the skislopes on the other side of the valley. The sauna is there and works fine according to my son. We also enjoyed the woodstove on colder days, and the shower. The kitchen is good and there\'s a dishwasher. There\'s ample room to park 2, maybe 3 cars. Ventron is a small village that has a couple of restaurants and a "Tabac", but no supermarkets. The "Hautes Vosges" are scenic and great for hiking and driving around on a motorcycle or car. Note that you have to bring your own bedlinnen, towels and bin liners. If you want to use the woodstove, bring your own kindling to start the fire. The beds are 1.9 m long, so taller people like me will have their feet stick out. The deposit and electricity bill (not included, but fair price per kWh) need to be paid in cash.

Superbe emplacement, les hôtes ont été arrangeant. Idéal pour les familles. Petite épicerie vendant du pain où l'on peut se rendre à 500m du chalet.

Compleet ingericht huis. Prachtig (grotendeels omheind) terras op het zuiden met fraai uitzicht. Mooie omgeving, wel veel steile wegen. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Bedden zijn smal (1.40 m) en matras was voor ons wat te hard. Heerlijke douche. Comfortabele (lig)stoelen hebben wij gemist. Voor 4 volwassen en 2 of 3 kinderen prima. Met meer volwassenen is het, ons inziens, te klein. Supermarkt op 5 km. Stokbrood en croissants kunnen in het dorp worden gehaald.

We had a great time and the house was absolutely amazing! Pool area was perfect for our group and the boys spent most of their time on the games machine. What a hit! Fantastic value for money. We will be back. Thanks Julie
