From the moment we walked in we felt cozy. The views of the lake from the front porch was amazing. Drinking coffee in the mornings was so peaceful. Back deck was relaxing and enjoyed listening to the birds and wind traveling through the trees. Hanging out on the deck fishing was great. We spent most of our time there. Caught a few fish and just enjoy the views. Great place to stay. They have all you need for a wonderful getaway from a busy life. Loved it.

With the lake and dock out the front and woods behind, this home was a delight. The kitchen was well-appointed. WiFi strength was not impressive, but thatās a part of the deal with many rural properties. Owners were immediately responsive to questions and/or problems. Excellent cabin. Very clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The lake facing deck and gazebo are perfectly positioned for sunrises. It's a really nice place to experience the "lake life." The only thing I would recommend is you bring a box fan for the deck because the summer nights, more so than the days, are sweltering.

The cabin is very cute. It is decorated really well. I loved sitting on the dock just thinking and enjoying nature. The time around the fire pit at night was wonderful. Loved drinking our coffee on the front porch. The view is spectacular. A wonderful week of R&R

This is the sweetest little cabin for a couple's getaway! It was clean, the bed is comfy & the view is beautiful! The dock is a perfect spot to have coffee & watch the sun rise. We had all of our meals on the front porch so we could enjoy the beautiful weather, trees & sounds of nature. The lake is a great size to ride your bike around @ 12-ish miles. Our time there couldn't have been any better!

We mostly enjoyed. We had one trash can in 1/2 bathroom. The floor was gritty with sand. It would have been nice to know the Lake was being drained so owners could make repairs.

The cabin decor was absolutely beautiful. The towels, sheets and blankets all smelled fresh and clean, which I love. The cabin smelled clean the minute we opened the door. The owners thought of everything. If you forgot anything, more than likely, they had it there for you to have. We enjoyed our stay.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay! Very clean, everything we needed was available. Beds were comfy and ac kept us refreshingly cool in 100 degree outdoor temps. Everything was perfect! We will be back!!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. I had found this cute cabin several years ago but hadnāt had a chance to stay until now. We absolutely loved it and hope to stay again soon. Everything was very clean and well stocked. Thank you for making it such an enjoyable visit!

We just left, and this was a lovely little location. Inviting, cozy, clean. 10/10 would recommend! It smelled great, very clean, thoughtfully decorated, and well stocked. The only downside was, I thought it had a king bed, but I donāt remember what was on the description. I definitely wouldnāt let that keeps us from going back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great get-away for us! Size of the place was perfect for 1 couple (even plus 1). A big positive was having a private dock to leave our boat at overnite. Beautiful lake and area. Bonus restaurant in walking distance.

This was a very nice, very clean rental. I enjoyed my stay here with really only one exception: the wifi never worked and the internet was very spotty. I know that the property owners had warned of that in advance, but I thought they implied that it might work sometimes. I would definitely recommend staying here - just be prepared to be out of touch with the world.

To start, our place was absolutely perfect and you can literally walk in with just your clothes and the basic of meals and be setup. The dock is just across the little āstreetā in front of the house and was the most enjoyable part of the stay. The water is beautiful, the area is clean and well kept. If you walk around youāll see plenty of deer and wildlife and the fishing was great! Itās a 12 minute walk to the best Italian restaurant youāll ever eat at (in Texas). We had cell service only about 20% of the time, a storm knocked the WiFi out for awhile and even before that service was sketchy. We didnāt mind that, at all! The listing and reviews mention it so we were prepared. Iād definitely recommend taking a screenshot of the address and lock code to get into the house, before arriving! Otherwise youāll panicking when your app doesnāt open lol. It was better than described and better than the pictures. We loved our time there and will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful little cabin located right on Lake Hawkins. The private dock was perfect. We rented a boat and spent three wonderful days on the water. We lucked out and hit the sweet spot with perfect weather (mid 80's) and minimal other boaters since we stayed during the week. The cabin was a perfect size for the two of us and was well cared for. The lake is fairly small and we couldn't explore the north end due to stumps/trunks/branches sticking out of the water. So we kept the boat on the south end and enjoyed the peace and quiet and forgot about metroplex life for a few days. Watching the sun set from the middle of the lake was a treat!

Cutest lake cabin with beautiful views! The hosts were very responsive when I had a question and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed for a quick trip. I would advise future guests to screenshot the property details ahead of check in so you can have the info to get into the house since there isnāt cell service in the area.

So nice to get away from the city. Quiet, relaxing. A herd of deer ran up the hill next to the cottage. Beautiful and exciting. The lake water is so clear. Our cottage was cozy and the mattress on the bed was very comfie. I love the curtains in the bedroom. Nice color. Thanks so much! Can you come decorate my home?š

To start, our place was absolutely perfect and you can literally walk in with just your clothes and the basic of meals and be setup. The dock is just across the little āstreetā in front of the house and was the most enjoyable part of the stay. The water is beautiful, the area is clean and well kept. If you walk around youāll see plenty of deer and wildlife and the fishing was great! Itās a 12 minute walk to the best Italian restaurant youāll ever eat at (in Texas). We had cell service only about 20% of the time, a storm knocked the WiFi out for awhile and even before that service was sketchy. We didnāt mind that, at all! The listing and reviews mention it so we were prepared. Iād definitely recommend taking a screenshot of the address and lock code to get into the house, before arriving! Otherwise youāll panicking when your app doesnāt open lol. It was better than described and better than the pictures. We loved our time there and will be back!

It was just the ease and calm we needed. Great food recommendations nearby- so no trouble on deciding meals. Definitely so much you can do and enjoy, but also perfect place to just enjoy the beautiful view - which was perfect for us this time.

Great get-away for us! Size of the place was perfect for 1 couple (even plus 1). A big positive was having a private dock to leave our boat at overnite. Beautiful lake and area. Bonus restaurant in walking distance.

Cabin was comfortable and well maintained. It would have been nice to have had a leaf blower to clear the leave and pine straw on the outdoor decks. The local people were very friendly and the two local restaurants I visited, Ricks Dinner and The Taste of Italy, were great. The area is very beautiful. I would highly recommend this area to friends.

The stay was amazing! The owners have everything you could possibly need available for you to use. From an extra toothbrush, to extra clean towels and linens, to firewood for you to use at the fire pit. They even provided a wagon to roll the wood instead os having to carry it across the street. We ate at a place called 'The Porch'. The waitress was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were in our budget. We enjoyed exploring the outdoors. It is a change of scenery from the city! Very nice and relaxing. The locals are friendly also. We would get friendly waves from the passing locals as we were walking the neighborhood. I would enjoy returning for another stay!

My Husband and I were looking for a place to just de-stress. This was Perfect!! Our first impression was just how quiet it was. Sitting out on the porch with our coffee in the morning was so peaceful. Kitchen had all the necessary staples although we only made breakfast there. We took advantage of The Taste Of Italy restaurant just down the road for the majority of our meals. Which were scrumptious. We highly recommend this location if you are needing a a break from it all. Bring your favorite book and relax on the porch. Or better yet the dock. You will truly enjoy spending the evening out there.

A great cozy cabin in a wonderfully peaceful setting, with a beautiful overlook of the lake . . . and the sunrise. Stunning! We've been each of the past several years and have had a grand time each trip. Walks, games, puzzles and more. Several good places to eat or take out within a short drive add an element of the city, or just eat in using the well-stocked kitchen. We plan to return. Thank you to the wonderful owners for sharing your place!

I was hoping for a comfortable relaxing silent retreat and this cute cabin delivered. Very clean, lots of amenities, great location, and generous, kind neighbors. I would suggest bringing fire starters, basic spices for cooking, and fuzzy slippers, and your own kayak if you want to experience the lake in that way. The nearest grocery is 15 min away so if you forget something, not too stressful a fix. The owners provide a thoughtful guide book to the area so youāll have plenary of ideas if you are looking for a more active experience. My GPS gave accurate directions and check in and out is an easy process. Perfect spot to unplug and recharge.

Cottage is Too Cute! Extremely well stocked (especially kitchen) as described. Host gives detailed instructions on where to find everything and how to operate. Very helpful! Lake and property is so peaceful. Very nice location.
