NY! Tempet Temptation w / Lake Views ~ 4Mi till ASU

The view on the outdoor patio is stunning. Lots of time spent on the patio watching ducks, geese, turtles and boats. We actually live on the lake in the same neighborhood, but stayed in this home after selling when we were in between homes. We agreed with the host to a 1pm check in. All was good with that. We appreciated that Jessica accommodated us arriving a little early. This is where the review gets more difficult. Upon arrival, there were cobwebs filled with 20-30 bugs each (and that’s being conservative, many of them had way more). We are talking windows filled with cobwebs and bugs. Ceiling corners and edges filled with cobwebs and bugs. My kids started calling it “spider house” there were so many bugs. The host shrugged it off as lake living when I sent her 1 of the several photos I took. I also own a house on the same lake, and it was never filled with cobwebs and bugs. Vent coverings were pretty caked with dust, especially upstairs. There was what appeared to be pubic hair on the toilet lids and in the guest bath… maybe it was dog hair but I doubt it because it’s a pet free rental. Dust was caking the frame of the mirror in the master bath, which was very visible when standing in the shower. It’s not like we were purposely checking.I will provide that the kitchen appeared clean, and the 2 bedrooms were clean. It’s not a lake living issue. It’s an issue of some basic wipe downs happening, but other surfaces are being totally neglected.

This was the second time we stayed here and it did not disappoint. The condo is close to everything and it is very comfortable. The water and snacks left out were a nice touch. It is also well stocked with plates, cutlery, various appliances like a toaster, insta pot, Keurig machine etc. Having a washer and dryer in unit is a huge plus. The location is excellent and the view of the lake is so relaxing. The host was very prompt with questions we asked and was flexible with our move in time being earlier. We will definitely be staying there again.

We have stayed at this property during Holy Week for five years now.It has been perfect for our stay - location, safety, size, quiet, view...simply, all of it!We retire this year and are hoping to spend a few weeks in the Tempe area next year. It simply wont work with retirement life (ugh.)My wife and I highly recommend this property.

This is our fourth stay at this condo. We love it here. Very clean and has all the necessities. The deck has a great view and offers morning sun and afternoon shade. It is centrally located to many great restaurants and several spring training stadiums. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. We’ll be back again for sure.

Such a great location - close to everything. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The home is equipped with everything you need to just show up. Add some groceries and you’re good.
