Absolutely stunning hotel with great amenities and activities. We've stayed at a lot of beautiful properties around the world and this is definitely one of the top hotels we've ever stayed. The staff are all so nice from the front desk to wait staff to bartenders to the spa, etc.

Exceptional. We came from Hotel Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and this was just another level. I think it was my best experience at a Hotel ever. Very Nice bars and restaurant. Truly a top experience from the time you entered to you left.

I experienced the best hotel in my life. The staff were very kind, the room and bathroom were very clean, and when I came back from going out, it was well organized. The breakfast was excellent and the afternoon tea and happy hour wine were really good. I really want to go back to Capella Hanoi!All the staff were kind, but the best was Duc. We already miss it already! My husband and I's favorite hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel in itself is an experience from the soiree's they have to the fun themed rooms themselves. The food is excellent as well as they are Michelin recommended. Perfect for those looking for a unique spunky hotel that has aesthetics taking you back to the Roaring 20s.

Was expecting way more after having a really nice experience in Sydney’s Capella. This is way overpriced at $800 (and it’s the off season), locally and internationally. This should be closer to $200. The gym was horribly equipped. The noise isolation in rooms is garbage — you can hear the loud traffic loudly in some rooms. Internet connection is spotty, it constantly timeouts. The staff is nice and attentive without overpushing. The design is quite distinctive. Didn’t click for me, but maybe someone will appreciate it.

We booked a junior suite for our one night stay and arrived to an upgrade to a Royal Opera Suite. This should be a six star hotel. The attention to detail in the design, service and Michelin star restaurant was incredible. Just can’t say enough about our truly memorable experience.

The best hotel in Hanoi,plain and simple.But there is one thing that needs to be mentioned.On the hotel's room page it says Flexible check-in and check-out time upon availability.But don't think this is Peninsula time at the Peninsula Hotels which you can check-in as early as 8AM and check-out as late as 16PM.Since our flight to Ho Chi Minh City was very late into the night a REAL flexible check-out was very important.Because we had used Peninsula Time before, we naively thought that we could be flexible in Capella, which is known for its luxury.Turns out their check-in and check-out policies are no different from regular hotels：upon available and pay to guarantee.The hotel did offer to let us stay in the living room as long as we wanted.And the kind staffs constantly offered us free sweets and mocktails.However since we had already checked out we just didn't feel comfortable eating and drinking for free.So we just sat there for three hours with some water and final decided we just head to the airport to see if we can get on an early flight.To be clear.Normal check-in and check-out times is fine and we are totally OK with it.Just if your check-in and check-out times are no different from regular hotels, there’s no point in mention “Flexible” on the website as if it’s a selling point, right?

Absolutely stunning hotel with great amenities and activities. We've stayed at a lot of beautiful properties around the world and this is definitely one of the top hotels we've ever stayed. The staff are all so nice from the front desk to wait staff to bartenders to the spa, etc.

We already miss it already! My husband and I's favorite hotel we have ever stayed in. The hotel in itself is an experience from the soiree's they have to the fun themed rooms themselves. The food is excellent as well as they are Michelin recommended. Perfect for those looking for a unique spunky hotel that has aesthetics taking you back to the Roaring 20s.

We booked a junior suite for our one night stay and arrived to an upgrade to a Royal Opera Suite. This should be a six star hotel. The attention to detail in the design, service and Michelin star restaurant was incredible. Just can’t say enough about our truly memorable experience.

Booked a Premier Room, upgraded unprompted to a Studio Grand Suite with a separate living and dining areas, marble bathroom with freestanding tub, Bamford amenities, a handwritten welcome card from the GM, and hand-painted wooden tortoises as a turndown gift. None of it felt like a script. The design is the property's real achievement: a new build executing a confident 1920s French-Vietnamese deco vocabulary, every detail considered down to the bakelite phone in the ensuite. Two throwaway comments I made on arrival were quietly referenced by multiple staff that evening. Anticipatory personalisation usually associated with Ritz-Carlton, executed here with more restraint. Dinner at Backstage was outstanding. I'll be back.
