Beautiful mountain setting, panoramic view, comfortable room, without lights off at nighttime, perfect for viewing stars in night sky. A black bear visited one morning! Lacking microwave, flagstone walkways difficult for walking (trip hazard), bathroom light sensor inconvenient (goes off while taking a shower due to being on a timer) and no other light in bathroom takes you into darkness

There were 3 of us in our party, supposed to have been 4. We rented the 2-bedroom cabin with the 4 beds. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the cabin also had 2 bathrooms. We loved that! We ate a delicious dinner at the restaurant onsite. Breakfast was included, which was another added bonus. The location is absolutely beautiful. We loved the pool, plus a lifeguard was there. Also enjoyed the miniature golf site. All the employees were super friendly. We only stayed 1 night. I wish we had more time there. I highly recommend staying here when you're nearby.

We stayed in the older one bedroom cabin. It was very spacious, clean and had a newer tub. Kitchen was nice. Unfortunately my wife could not tolerates the bed. Old mattress and too soft. Resort amenities: pool, restaurant and lounge area were very nice. WIFi in the cabin doesn’t exist and at the lodge it was poor. If we didn’t have our own hot spot we would have been sunk. Loved the park. Went bike riding and hiking.

I stayed in one of the cabins while working in the area. It was great not to be stuck in town with someone tromping around in the room above me. Very quiet, great kitchen and all the pots and pans etc. that you could need. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The setting was lovely at the top of the hill. Lots of things to do for everyone in the family - wish we could have enjoyed more of them. The free breakfast was mediocre at best. The load in (of luggage, etc. ) was very difficult - pretty, old, stone stairways up to the entrance, with one ramp off to one side far from the rooms. The checkout time was unreasonably early (10:00 am).

Room was clean but both sinks were clogged and had sludge in that had backed up. We could not brush our teeth or wash up. I told them about it and they offered no refund or anything. We won't go back.

We booked a Cottage. Apon entering the cottage it had a Mildew smell. The smoke alarm went off 3 minutes entering. We decided that the cottage was not for us. The front desk person was very helpful. He offered another cottage, but I declined. We stayed at the main resort. Our room was clean and had no odor. The bathroom had mold on ceiling. Overall we had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is the nicest Kentucky state resort we have stayed at and we have been to several. All rooms are clean with a wonderful view from the balcony. Friendly staff and good food. Many things to do in the park and nearby. Highly recommend.

We have stayed her many times and love this lodge, but this particular time we were given the wrong room(which we thought was n upgrade) then it taken back from us and we were blamed for the mistake and moved to a horrible room with 8-9 dead bugs and in an area where the noise at night from closing doors and people running up and down a metal staircase kept us up all night long! We have never had an issue until this trip! It was truly miserable! Hoping the next stay is better!

Nice place and conveniently located. Room had a nice balcony with chairs. Could use some updating but was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the continental breakfast. No eggs or meat items only breads and pancakes. Had to go get breakfast elsewhere. With a full restaurant I would think eggs would be an easy addition.

The resort was a great find! . We enjoyed the hikes that were close by. Also enjoyed the miniature golf. The only problem is the rooms didn't have a microwave or fridge. My wife is a diabetic and didn't have anywhere to store her incline.

I started out in one of the original cabins. My toilet didn’t work so the staff put me up in a room at the lodge. The room was clean and had a beautiful view. The staff went above and beyond to see that my stay was enough to rank a return visit in the future. I can say that I will definitely be back again.

Very friendly staff. Clean well appointed rooms, great beds. Better rooms for less money than any other hotels in the area. Definitely where we will first search out when back in the area. Want to try the cabins some time, the look terrific. Only had breakfast at the restaurant, but the food was good.

Setting was stunning. Staff nice. Food was okay. Prefer healthy menu options. I purchased two candy bars from the front desk and they were both grey when I opened them. They were supposed to be chocolate. When I went back the next morning the lady at the front desk said ‘oh, sorry’ not offering me a refund or a replacement which was disappointing. It was a candy bar so not hugely expensive but it’s the point of the matter.

First time staying here but hope it won't be the last. Room was clean all the staff at the front desk and dining hall were so nice. Swimming, mini golf, real golf and hiking within the park. so fantastic views in the area. also an easy drive to cumberland gap national park.

This was a beautiful and amazing place to stay. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Everyone was so kind and friendly, the room was great! The scenery was so beautiful and the food was amazing at the lodge. The food in town didnt compare to the food at the lodge. Will definitely stay in and eat there versus the town restaurants. Thank you for being such a great place.

My room in the lodge was beautiful and comfortable, and I had a mountain view from there, from the restaurant and every part of the lodge. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food in the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.. The complementary breakfast had hot foods, and all the things you expect in a continental breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful. Room was very nice we had a second floor balcony room. Beautiful view of the Moutians. Restaurant was fantastic. Can't wait to stay again. Pool was open till 9pm. Great front desk staff.

We loved the park. Rooms need to be updated and better maintenance. The continental breakfast was good, but the food off of the menu was gross. There were also bugs INSIDE the ice cubes in our drinks.
