When I spend $321 for 2 rooms I don’t want to pay a fee for parking unless I’m staying in Manhattan. When you nickel and dime your customers and the fee was supposed to be all inclusive you are irritating your customers. You are telling me that profit comes before service. I will be posting this on YouTube and google. If even 1 person online agrees with me you will lose much more than your parking fee.

The staff at this property are so polite and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There is ample parking and the outdoor space is very comfortable and well maintained.

We checked in late- 10:30- staff was very welcoming. However, it took us awhile to find parking. When we settled in, we checked for the extra linen for the sofa bed. However, there wasn’t anything. So, we had to go back to the lobby and ask the front desk. Other than that, the room/hotel was very clean. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Nice hotel, it’s new so that’s always a plus. Loved the decor, clean, comfortable and in the middle of everything. Nice bar and fire pit area. I’ll be returning.

Great hotel although they charged for parking which wasn’t advertised. We arrived after a full day of parking and too late to look for other options. I wouldn’t considered other options as there is absolutely no reason for them to charge for parking (no attendant nor garage or security).

Stayed here while visiting my son at Camp Geiger. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It happened to be beautiful outside so we were able to use their gas grill located by the pool. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable! We did ask for a cot which was a more comfortable option. The hotel location has a lot of nearby shopping and dining options. This is a pet friendly hotel but I thought the cleanliness could have been stepped up a bit. Some of the dishes in the cabinets were not cleaned very well and missing utensils. Overall was a good option for the price. I would stay again.

Even though this is a newer hotel, I was disappointed in the condition of my room. I found a stain on the carpet that looked like dried vomit, dirt/candy wrappers at the headboard, and surface dirt on about every wipeable surface in the bathroom. I reported the condition of the room upon checkout, and received the driest, least sincere apology I've ever gotten. I will not return. We checked in around 830pm, and received the best customer service. The appearance of the facility at night is beautiful. We were in town for a birthday party and arrived in town very late, so I didn't get to inspect the room until we got back and I started cleaning. Had I seen the dirt upon arrival, I would've asked to change rooms. We didn't eat breakfast nor use any of the amenities. The beds are very comfortable. I do not recommend this hotel.

When I first arrived, the girl at the desk was very friendly and kind. My review on my experience has nothing to do with the service she provided. I was assigned a hearing impaired room that was not really clean. Upon opening the door I was greeted with a foul smell. It was a faint smell of smoke. I went back to the desk an alerted the staff. She looked for another room, but told me they were full and provided me a bottle of spray to help. She also stayed She would give me reward points. This is my second time using this hotel for my business trips and sadly will be my last. The sink had food in it, the bed was almost on the floor it was so low and very uncomfortable. Dirt on the bathroom floor. The different girl at the front desk the next morning was very rude and when I asked for towels, she only gave me 2 with no washcloths and walked away. I will never stay here again even though it's more convenient than driving from Richmond. My stay was terrible and the room gave me the worse headache because of the smell.

Excellent room. Very comfortable. Convenient location. Great breakfast options. Ways to elevate to a higher review in my book - please vacuum the hallways, wash the elevator floors and clean the elevator doors w stainless steel cleaner. Those three things stood out to me and would have made my stay even better.

The property itself is probably fine. I had a terrible room. The HVAC wasn’t working properly and the blinds were broken so I had to cover the windows with pillows to block the light. I think they dump these rooms on Expedia members to encourage you to book direct.

Check in was a little frustrating due to the front desk phone continuing to ring and be answered with a line. The shower leaked and the toilet ran and then the air conditioning stopped working leaving the room 77-79 degrees without ventilation. Front desk associate came up in attempts to fix the problem twice; only very temporary. We were told There is no 24 hour maintenance.

The TownePlace suites is fairly new so that’s nice. The rooms are nice and big and so are the bathrooms. Because it’s a town place, they don’t have housekeeping every day unless you request it. And the parking at that particular facility is limited although we were able to find pretty good parking every day. But nice area plenty of shopping and dining available.

The staff here cannot be beat! Kam and Kirsten went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed to be comfortable. A note to families - the sofabed in the King rooms is just not meant for sleeping. It was hard as a rock because it’s not an actual mattress. They did offer us extra blankets to help soften the board-like surface, but we ultimately requested to change to a room with 2 queen beds. They were very accommodating and let us change rooms so our daughter could get some sleep. The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. We would stay here again. My only suggestion would be to add a waffle maker to the breakfast selection.

Beautiful place. Great breakfast. Only problem, which needed up being big was there was no room darkening shade in our room. Sun was pretty much blinding in evening and lights from other buildings made it too bright at night. We did not realize a problem until we were unpacked and didn’t realize how bad it was until we were completely settled in so we did not notify desk, as we did not want to, change rooms, which turned out to be a big mistake. All else great.

Check in was smooth and easy. Breakfast was outstanding. Best of all, day manager Kam helped me log into my Marriott account. I had tried other times but once they checked the phone number and it didn't connect, they would say I didn't have an account. Kam asked for zip codes and after the third time, a house we moved from in 2007, he found it. Very impressive. Truly above and beyond others.

We always stay at Townplace Suites when we can. This property is right off I-95 and has been open only a few months. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Many, many dining options are nearby. Our location was quiet and comfortable.

Came up to celebrate our daughter's birthday and visit VCU. The location and atmosphere was very nice. Located right near a mall/shopping area. Less than a mile from 95. Room was clean and roomy enough for a couple. Kitchenette area was well stocked.

Great hotel that’s only a year old. Everything is in brand new condition. The rooms are double the size of regular hotel stays. Resupplying for our road trip was easy because Walmart was next door. Easy access to other businesses or restaurants. The car chargers were taken up by regular gas cars, which were annoying. The hotel should put EV only parking and have staff section it out. The ev chargers are powered by Loop and cost $0.40/kW. Plus a $1 activation fee. Using the app was simple enough and there were 4 available chargers, but 3 spots were taken by gas cars. Down the road there are 8 Tesla superchargers, so it’s not a problem. The buffet breakfast is the real deal! Wonderful food and never ran out. Excellent 1/2 way pit stop for those going from NYC to Orlando.

Everything was very nice. The room was clean and very well stocked. The only complaint I have is that the breakfast options were a bit limited. I went back to the breakfast area after eating my meal to get a piece of fresh fruit and there wasn't any.

New hotel, so very clean and modern. The outside patio was a nice place to hang out and socialize. Our room AC was broken, the hotel was completely booked so we couldn't get a new room and maintenance wasn't available. We had to fix it ourselves and it still didn't work great. Breakfast isn't impressive, sausage tasted like hot dogs. Overall, pretty mediocre.
