We live pretty close to the hotel but chose to stay because we went to a concert at The Groove Music Hall and the roads would possibly be icy on the way home. My daughter and her friend also wanted to take advantage of the indoor pool during the winter. Unfortunately we were unaware that the heater in the pool had just been replaced and had not warmed the pool up yet so this along with the pool room's temp being cold, it was too cold for them to swim. The front desk staff were amazingly helpful and friendly with everyone that walked through the doors. The hotel was very clean throughout and I loved seeing all of the activities for the families to enjoy as well. The best part of the stay was the beautiful view of the racetrack.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled up to this very new-looking 4-story hotel. There is a lot of construction going on around it, but the property was clean, well maintained, and pretty. The lobby is large and well appointed. There is 24-hour coffee station in the lobby, as well as a pool table! That was a surprise. The room was very clean and comfortable. Dominion Racetrack is right across from the hotel, so super convenient to anyone interested in that. It was still quiet for sleeping even though there was an event happening the night we were there. I loved the whiteboards by the elevators that listed different events, restaurants, and venues in the area. That was a great idea.

Extremely polite and friendly staff! Probably one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been at in a while! Pool was working, clean, and warm! We chose to extend an extra day and I’m glad we did. Great time. I wish we had the push to wake up for the breakfast!

I enjoyed the vibrant colors and decor. The pool is as small but heated which made it so lovely. They have a pol table and a workout room. It was good for the weekend stay. Easy check in and out. They had breakfast I missed but could purchase snacks and order food to be delivered.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this property was. I wasn't pleased that our room wasn't ready when we got there at 5:00 when check in was at 2, but they allowed us to use the pool until our room was ready.

Tru had a good layout and setup. This particular Tru didn’t seem to be kept up well. Our room had hair all over the toilet, mold building in the shower, and the floor wasn’t cleaned very well. Old towels were all over the pool deck and old gym towels were never picked up from fitness center the two that we stayed.

We requested early check-in (1 hour) but received no response. On arrival, half hour early, check-in was easy. A/C unit in room sounded like a jet engine. Breakfast was fine. Room was clean but a little shabby, peeling wallpaper was stapled to the wall.

I loved the parking, quietness of the hotel, the upbeat interior designs, the excellent hospitality at check-in, and the ease of access to the highway. Room for improvement: mosquitoes outside (I was swarmed in the a.m), cleanliness of the room (definitely need to pay more attention to detail and even provide upgrades. The wallpaper was even coming apart), and taking out the trash outside of the facility.

Room was horrible, needed renovations 20 years ago…! Cigarette burns on carpet, toilet with broken cover water kept running, beds extremely uncomfortable, noisy AC that would not stop, wallpaper falling off the wall, headboards falling apart. Would never go there again.

The staff was friendly and helpful. All needs were met. Breakfast was fresh and decent selection: eggs, sausage, cerals, pancakes, etc. Coffee and tea available at all hours. The pool was murky but I think it was just the chemicals. Quiet location with amazing views of the Nascar Dominion track. Everything was very clean. We stayed just one night on our way to Washington, D.C. and would stay here again. Price was great for all that was offered.

The property was modern, clean and safe. Room had all the basics needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Staff was excellent. Easy to get to from the highway. Only drawback is hotel is very close to highway and walls are thin so you can hear the traffic which runs all night long. Try to get a room away from highway side, and use room fan for white noise or anything else to help drown out traffic sound.

The AC Was either too cold, or hot air blowing. The room overlooks I 95, and the traffic was so loud that we couldn't sleep. The TV didn't work, so we couldn't drown out the traffic that way. Guy at the desk was disengaged & not very helpful. They exercise bike was broken.

Overall the stay was good. The property was clean and quiet enough, even with the race track across the street holding an event. The only issue I had was the rooms AC started to make a loud noise in the middle of the night. Cycling the power seemed to fix it for some time, but it happened multiple times through the night. I had an early morning and despite the noise from the AC, I still felt relatively well rested.

Needed sleep! Checked in at midnight and received a text from the front desk at 2am to see how my stay was going. 2AM!! I still had another full day driving and was up until 3am. Not a happy camper. I spoke to the front desk the next morning and was told the clerk that sent it would not be back until the following Monday. I told them to leave her a note. I told them to use some common sense.

I can’t even tell you if we liked the property or not because we were unable to check in. Once we arrived, we were told that there was a system issue and they overbooked the hotel. Instead of calling us before to let us know so we could make other arrangements, they waited until we checked in after 10 pm. We had to find another hotel at that hour.

When we arrived at 9:00 pm, there was no attendant, we waited for quite a while, after a 16 hour drive, until the gentlemen that was sitting in the lobby on the sofa chatting on his phone with his back to us and to the check in desk stood up and turned around. We did not appreciate the long wait, nor did he apologize for not doing his job

If you like NASCAR, it's literally right next to a small race track. Unfortunately, it's also right besides I-95 so there's noise from the traffic. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. Clean. Pancakes were yummy!

Everyone we interacted with was super sweet and helpful. The location is 30 seconds off the highway, doesn’t get more convenient This hotel is so new that Google maps shows the location as an empty field and it doesn’t know the driveway exists. Just drive behind the Sheetz gas station. We’ll be back!!

Got in about 9:30 PM on Wednesday. There is a sheets truck center right next door, and the trucks are all backed up and you cannot turn left at the light to get to the hotel. They were at a stand still through several lights. I finally went around up the road a little and turned around and was able to get into the open lane that brought me to the hotel. The truckstop is a nightmare. As for the hotel, I really like this brand of hotels. I like the soaps in the bathroom, shampoos, etc.. I like that I can keep the fan running to drown out any noise from neighbors. Bed is comfortable sheets are soft and several types of pillows to choose from. I like the minimal fabrics in the room and no carpeting. And the shade that completely closes. On that note good night :)

Nice hotel, comfortable bed. Was told when I checked it that breakfast would start at 6 am next morning. I said that's great because I have get an early start and drive 900 miles that day. Came down to have breakfast as 6:02 and nothing there. Girl at desk said breakfast person wasn't there yet so she tried to call the person several times. Several of us were waiting and after waiting for 20 minutes and I had to leave. When I was leaving the desk person put a sign up that breakfast wouldn't start until 7 am!

Stay was comfortable and good. The shower had some mildew and the wall paper was peeling. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast while we know it was free left a lot to be desired. We love common area for games and mingling. Only bad part was the coffee was lukewarm and hot water was maybe room temperature.
