Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THE HOST WAS RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL. THE LOCATION WAS AWAY FROM CITY NOISE AND HUSSLE. NO ONE TOLD US THE WATER IN THE HOME WAS NOT DRINKABLE. THERE WAS NO WAY TO CLEAN THE HOME DUE TO LACK OF CLEANING EQUIPMENT. THE PATIO DID NOT DRAIN WATER DUE TO INACCURATE GRADE SETTING. THERE WAS NO HOSE TO SPRAW SAND OFF THE PATIO. THE INSIDE OF THE HOME WAS NOT CLEAN, OR CLEANED 7 OR 8 DAYS EALIER. Twin size beds were ok if you like a firm mattress. Air conditioners work great! Kitchen was equipped well, but could use new pans and there wasn’t any baking pans. As others have mentioned, could also use more patio chairs. Overall we had a great experience with Oceano and enjoyed our stay. We woke up our first morning to having no water in the house, I called Oceano at 8am, and had water refilled before 10am. I would text this home for a small group. Beautiful beach, not too rocky.

Patio furniture is UNCOMFORTABLE. 1-2 loungers needed (with cushions would be nicer). 2. Needs more than one dish towel for stays longer than 2 days.3. Bottled water for drinking/cooking would be nice.4. Larger television and satellite service would make for a better experience.Pros:1. Water pressure was great.2. Hot water was great.3. Refrigerator was COLD!4. Kitchen utensils/dishware is perfect for up to 4 guests.5. ALL doors and windows worked, as well as having serviceable screens. Too many beach homes/condos in Rocky Point do not have easy to use sliding patio doors; and the screens on doors and windows are either broken or nonexistent. Playa Romantica is not one of these properties!6. Air conditioning worked in all rooms when we needed it.My STAR Reviews may seem misleading as I rarely give anything 5 stars.We were happy with our stay at Playa Romantica in November 2021 and April 2022; and have already reserved it again for October 2022.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at casa romantics. We loved the time on the beach and jumping in the waves. Be aware that you might need to bring or purchase some of these items because the house is sparsely stocked: forks for mealtime (there were 4), towels, beach toys. Also, there is no laundry on site and no dishwasher. My husband struggled with how to make coffee at first because there was a machine but no carafe. But he found a pour over system. But the house is right on the beach in a quiet spot and the folks at oceano were super accommodating and responsive when we messed up our reservation. I would recommend this spot for sure!

You can snorkel and is best at high tide . I saw baby sting rays , puffer fish , Sargent majors , mackerel and sea bass . The place was clean and safe .Big shout out to the people at Océano rentals for helping us relocate due to a broken A/C at another property . They had a repair man out within the hour but unfortunately couldn’t be repaired only replaced . They didn’t hesitate to rebook us to save our vacation . Will definitely use again !

Can’t beat the location but property needs some TLC. The patio furniture was sun rotted and my son fell through the lounger shortly after check in. Screen doors on patio off track furnishings very outdated and in need of repair. Ad needs to be updated the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated but there is no washer dryer now.

Lighting could use some improvement; one ceiling fan had burnt out bulb but no big deal really. Would also recommend getting all bulbs in the same color temperature, especially kitchen and outdoor lights. The cooler, fluorescent colors are jarring at night. Recommend warmer bulb colors. Great location and management company. Super quiet spot (no events at venue next door during our stay). Outdoor loungers starting to fail due to age, sun, etc. Bring a lighter for the propane grill and be sure to turn off tank at source as one knob stuck to on position.

Enjoyed our stay even though there were some small issues, ie. bugs, ran out of water, many lights out, outdoor shower broken, & more. This is a small, economical rental so don’t expect extras (dishwasher, washer/dryer, water toys, nice furniture). Sorry but I would not rent again.

Good AC, decent water pressure would absolutely stay here again. Something’s to consider when packing... no drinking water provided so plan to bring your own. No dish towels, oven mitts, spices, etc and only 4 drinking/water cups. There is one outdoor chair and a small cement outdoor table, otherwise no patio furniture so we had to bring our chair back and forth for coffee outside in the morning. All very small things but just to help the next person when packing. Indoor seating clean and comfortable. Great company to rent from, very professional.

You can snorkel and is best at high tide . I saw baby sting rays , puffer fish , Sargent majors , mackerel and sea bass . The place was clean and safe .Big shout out to the people at Océano rentals for helping us relocate due to a broken A/C at another property . They had a repair man out within the hour but unfortunately couldn’t be repaired only replaced . They didn’t hesitate to rebook us to save our vacation . Will definitely use again !

There is one outdoor chair and a small cement outdoor table, otherwise no patio furniture so we had to bring our chair back and forth for coffee outside in the morning. Beautiful beach house with a split floor plan on the beach. Beds are firm; you'll need to bring beach towels and toys. There was a circuit board failure with the oven and stove had a missing knob, but the folks at Oceana Management were willing to assist with any issues - and we deferred since our visit was short. House was very clean upon arrival and we look forward to returning to the area at another time. We would recommend this house :)

After dealing with Covid and cancer I loved getting away with an old friend. The 2 bedrooms and 2 baths worked perfect. Beds comfy. Plenty of towels and throw blankets. The view out the living room sliders was to die for. Kitchen was stocked to meet our needs. Bring water. Heaters worked fine. If you are looking for up to date decorating and furniture this isn’t your place. Suggestions would be bigger tv and some comfy decent patio furniture. We both would stay here again as the price and location were perfect.

It was as advertised... Playa Romantico! Easy to follow the directions to a location that felt remote and private. The Oceana office was a great help. Would love to come again. Bedrooms on opposite sides of house with bathrooms was a plus. A jug of water would be our only suggestion.

Host always responded in a timely manner. The beach was beautiful. Only thing there were a lot of mosquitos which surprised me. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: No complaints other than the TV is very tiny , the a/c works awesome ! The view is the best , the beach is very good with minimal rocks . You can snorkel and is best at high tide . I saw baby sting rays , puffer fish , Sargent majors , mackerel and sea bass . The place was clean and safe .Big shout out to the people at Océano rentals for helping us relocate due to a broken A/C at another property . They had a repair man out within the hour but unfortunately couldn’t be repaired only replaced . They didn’t hesitate to rebook us to save our vacation . Will definitely use again !

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great house setup for our family of four. Convenient location. Some rocks but also lots of sand. Steps to the beach. Good AC, decent water pressure would absolutely stay here again. Something’s to consider when packing... no drinking water provided so plan to bring your own. No dish towels, oven mitts, spices, etc and only 4 drinking/water cups. There is one outdoor chair and a small cement outdoor table, otherwise no patio furniture so we had to bring our chair back and forth for coffee outside in the morning. All very small things but just to help the next person when packing. Indoor seating clean and comfortable. Great company to rent from, very professional.

You can’t be any closer to the beach!! It was a great spot for us, tall ceilings for fishing rods, and an incredibly quiet week tourist-wise.
