Rooftop lounge with a awesome view of the mountains!! Great food and drinks.... The room was clean and a comfortable bed..All in a great stay!!

Love the rooftop restaurant. Breakfast is a good amenity. Pool was quiet and relaxing. Love the fireplaces. Lobby was set up nice. People were so friendly. I would definitely book again!

Everything was nice, ev charging, good food close, comfy bed, nice fitness center and pool, and helpful staff.

Rooms are very clean and provide plenty of room. Large bathroom and a large walk in shower was a nice surprise. The staff is helpful and friendly. We ate on site 2 evenings and enjoyed the food. We liked the multiple outdoor seating areas also.

Really nice hotel with great views of mountains. Two bars on site with lots of areas to hang out. Close to James Madison university. Seems like the perfect hotel for visitors to the university with plenty of great space indoor and outdoor to hang out.

Excellent check in. The room was amazing - clean and bright. We had cocktails at the upstairs bar - great view and atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was so much better than the standard hotel breakfast buffet with real eggs, rosemary seasoned breakfast potatoes, and fresh melon. Thelrooftrestaurant/bar

Room was dirty. Sink had hair and previous guests spit all over it. Doritos crushed all under the beds. I reported to staff and nothing to rectify the situation. Not even a courtesy coffee offered in the morning at checkout for the experience. Overall disappointed and would never rebook on my travels. Hotel was fancy looking, but that means nothing to me when I am cleaning the bathroom myself.

Pros- room clean upon arrival, comfortable spacing in room, bed is not super comfortable mainly because of scratchy and not smooth/soft sheets, bathroom clean. The Ridge Room is outstanding and super convenient when staying at Hyatt. Cons- besides the scratchy sheets, main con was that we called for cleaning service to our room three times in one day and did not receive it. This hotel is service on demand, which they don't clearly state. We stayed for 3 nights and wanted service on our last night. Despite being told three times we would get it, we did not.

I've stayed at this Hyatt in the past, which is why I chose to stay here again, as the rooms were clean and it was a convenient location. This time around, we noticed the room was not as clean - the sheets had stains and the bathroom was not up to par. We decided to overlook these things until we encountered cockroaches in our room - twice. Rose at the front desk was very kind and accommodating, and we moved to different room for our remaining stay at the property. I Will not be staying at this property again, however.

Suprised that during our 2 night stay our room was not cleaned, no new towels and no replenishment of coffee or clean mugs or glasses provided. Dissapointed

The only feedback I’d share is that guests on the floor above me were very loud. I don’t think it was intentional or that they even realized. I did report it to the desk and a call was made. I think with having hard floors instead of carpet, there is a lack of sound proofing or insulation that would buffer the sound of loud shoes and hard walking.

The room was beautiful, the property was amazing. The blackout shades in the room allows you to get great rest ! Amenities are excellent, spacious areas that allow families to enjoy their stay fully. The only suggestion: The beakfast is $8 exta

Room was comfortable and very clean. Furniture looked new and well maintained. Free parking and free breakfast.

Stay was Ok, but AC was loud, and shower door kept sliding open.

The refrigerator generated low-frequency noise...

The suite in our room was great, great view. However, the refrigerator was unusually loud at times.

The room was clean with comfortable beds and a big walk-in shower. We liked the convenience of the rooftop lounge and the included breakfast buffet with comfortable, spacious seating. The added bonus was that we didn’t feel rushed having to leave the next morning before noon if we chose not too.

The rooftop bar is gorgeous and the gamer LEDs on the sides of the building was a great surprise. There’s a safe and a mini fridge that wasn’t mentioned. And the showers are incredible.

My only complaint was that I could hear people upstairs walking around. Heavy footfalls. I believe it was because of the lack of carpeting on the floors. It was very loud

I was very pleased with my stay at Hyatt Place on Super Bowl weekend 2025. The one drawback was that they didn't have the room type available that I reserved. However, they did work it out by giving me another spacious room with a great view at the same price. So, all was well. The front desk staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the breakfast selections. Thank you!

Exceptional customer r service during a snow storm. They even fixed me something to eat when everything was closed. Very kind

The hotel staff was very kind and attentive to our needs. We were staying as a family of four with two rooms. They accommodated everything. The location is quiet, and the building is very clean and new. Shopping and restaurants are very close.

Always a positive, courteous welcome at the front desk even when I continuously show up very late for check in. This is my go to hotel when I drive to Tennessee for my halfway point. Clean and beautiful hotel.

We went to check in close to 4pm we get to the desk and the gentlemen says we have two queen beds ready, we booked for one king bed. The front desk stated they have nothing else tonight and we would have to take the two queen bed, I asked for contact to complain the gentlemen did not provide. I contacted hotels.com and rep reached out to front desk and was told we wanted to check in early and they told us our room wasn’t ready which never happened we checked in at 4pm check in is at 3pm and we were told no more rooms were available, talked to front desk a lady there stated she never told hotels.com that but she isn’t charging us extra for the double queen and that’s all they can do for us the rest needs to be taken up with hotels.com. Place was clean but I will not be staying there again due to poor customer service and unwillingness to help come up with a solution.

Young girl at desk said rooms are not ready yet and it would be 30 minutes to an hour. Went out to my car and came back into hotel at 310pm, this time a different person was at the desk. I asked him about checking in and he checked my in with no problem and gave us our room keys. They have a nice rooftop bar that stays open to 11pm. Went to bar at 10pm. Hostess asked us for a reservation which we did not have and told us they ere not seating for another 30 minutes. I told here we were hotel guests, but she just walked away. The bar was about 60 % full. Another person came up and told us she could seat us. I asked for a table outside. She said none were available. I was looking at two open tables . I asked her why we could not have one of those tables. She said ok and took us to the table. No one else arrived at the bar between that time and 1100, so there were not reservations that were coming in. I ordered the smoked salmon roll and a Bold Rock Apple. The Salmon Roll was really awful and the Bold Rock was a different flavor not apple. Rooms were great.

Driving through tow after dropping our son off at camp and was looking for a nice hotel. The ratings for the hotel were great so we decided to stop and stay. Everything was really nice. Check-in was quick and smooth. The staff were very friendly. We did not pay extra for the breakfast, so I cannot put a review for that. We also slept late and missed breakfast anyway. The view is really beautiful on top of the hill and there is shopping right down the road from the hotel. Would definitely recommend

This Hyatt property is conveniently located in Harrisonburg, VA about a 2-minute drive from exit 243 of I81, near a variety of shopping and restaurants. Parking is free/included. Blink branded, level 2, electric car charging is available in the parking lot but is billed separately through the Blink network. The check-in staff was very friendly and efficient. The hotel has outdoor gathering areas, a couple with string lights, comfortable chairs, and gas-fueled fire pits. Sadly, the in the rear of the property is in close proximity to the A/C equipment and is pretty noisy. The indoor pool area is a haven for kids and is easily accessible. There is a very nice restaurant and bar (The Rooftop Room) that hotel guests can access from the fifth floor, but which also has a separate exterior entrance and elevator that isolates diners and the establishment's noise from the hotel guests. The buffet breakfast - in a different location - was vast and very good. Our guest room was neat, clean and comfortable with only a couple minor defects: I had to move the mattress in order to unplug a charge adapter which, although conveniently provided, was faulty and making an odd pulsating noise loud enough to keep me from sleeping; the toilet seat was loose (I hate that; such an easy thing to fix yet so often a problem); the flow from the shower head was pretty weak. The other frustration was a search for ice machines that are NOT located where they are shown on the hotel floorplans.

We loved the location for visiting Shenandoah National Park and other nearby NPS sites. Great food options near the hotel and a nice restaurant in the hotel. Very commercial area, so not for those looking to be out in nature. But great if you forgot to pack something.

Hyatt Place has been our preferred stop now for 3 years and I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the Harrisonburg area. This hotel is super clean, well maintained, and the staff is great ! There are plenty of chain dining options nearby or you can quickly get to the downtown area in 10 min for some unique independent restaurant options.

Great location and place

Great hotel! The staff and property were excellent. The only change that I would suggest is leaving the free breakfast out until 10am (when it concludes). We had items removed right in front of us while we were trying to get breakfast around 9:45am.

Nice property, the outside seating area were very nice. Lots to do around. We didn’t try out the restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Same selection that you find at a hotel with a free breakfast but charged 8$/adult.

Excellent all the way around!! Beautiful hotel. Clean and new! Toiletries smelled great. The only negative is paying for what seems like your typical hotel continental breakfast the is included at other hotels. But really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was lovely. Breakfast closes at 9 am which seems early. They were taking away things while people were still in line!

Have stayed a couple times while driving to and from Florida. Lots of restaurants in the area. Used to include breakfast but now charge $8. Not a deal breaker though. Nice overall.

The restaurant is great, tapas style, had the crispy brussels sprouts, cast iron crab cakes and the short rib was not disappointed
